Mom and dad flew into London on rails and walked 87 miles from the Eurostar into St. Pancras Station. Then out the other side to the main exit. Dad rushed on ahead of mom…cause she was walking like she was dragging a moose behind her. Mom finally made it to the exit and guess who greeted her? It was Princess Leah, and her mom and dad. Our dad was there too. How exciting Shoko. They all went for tea in St. Pancras Station. I think mom was stunned as she didn’t seem to take many pictures. Here is Princess Leah’s mom, Julie and her dad, Mike. Her Royal Highness is trying to get at the Canada Goose Shoko and I stuck in mom’s suitcase for Leah. Mom said she enjoyed a relaxing cuppa with Leah and her parents. She could have stayed and enjoyed their company for several more hours but it was time to get to the hotel. Take a look at Princess Leah’s Blog and see more pictures of our meeting.
Now St. Pancras Station is an old castle like building. It is beautiful beyond compare. Any repairs to the old structure are kept in the same style. Mom and dad caught a taxi to their hotel…The Tavistock. It wasn’t far but these two decided they didn’t need to struggle down the sidewalk with their suitcases. Our travellers woke in Normandy and now they were in London. To say they were tired was an understatement.
The next day found mom and dad deciding to walk about their area around the Tavistock Hotel. Mom and dad liked the quaint shops along the street. The Post Box was so shiny and new looking. Where the ones in Prince George look like they had a fight with a woofie and lost. MOL….mom is in her glory looking for different spices and concoctions than in Canada.
The next place to find was Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium. A bit of a challenge for our wanderers.
I won’t show you all the areas they wandered in and out but Chinatown and Coventry Gardens were two of the districts.
They found Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium just as dad was starting to say they had come the wrong way while he was pushing mom on her walker. They both were so excited they forgot to take a picture.
Inside was a small cat heaven. There were cats sleeping…of course. Cats watching the pigeons and greeter cats showing us around. Shoko would be crazy over these stairs….dropping on me from above. Look at these caves for the cats. They look like they’re in the wild forests of Africa. What a hoot.
A most satisfying visit to their first cat café.
In July “Jeanne Foguth’s blog, Pet Care Tips and Humour” nominated us for a Happiness Tag We gratefully accept this great….TAG and thank you Jeanne for the honour. In accepting we have some responsibilities, such as:
Tell everyone the 5 Things that Make Us Happy
1/ Kali and I both agree the most important thing that makes us happy is to live with mom and dad. They treat us very well and we love them. Mom is a little odd at times but she’s never boring
2/ I must say I do love running. I get so happy when Cow Kitty is chasing me home or I’m running after Kali down the hall.
3/ I have so much to be thankful for but this award is for what makes me happy. I would have to say laying in a sunpuddle, getting warm and cozy really makes my world go around. 4/ We both are delighted when we hear from our boyfriends. Einstein sets my teeth on edge, he is one dude that just doesn’t slow down. Buddy is a gentleman and treats me as a lady should be treated. Einstein and I Glamping in Cat Scouts. Buddy and Kali enjoying a BBQ.
5/ For our last entry we decided to go with our stroller because we each like the stroll mom gives us. I am surprised that Shoko likes it but she never ceases to amaze me.
Sing Name the favourite 5 Songs that Make Us Happy.

Admit to adoring 5 Bloggers who Make Us Happy and Notifying those Bloggers
We adore so many blogs and the hard work everyone puts into each post that we name everybody ….. This is a cop out Shoko…..you should name 5 blogs. I like them all, they’re my friends. Everyone else had the same problem. Cwap!! What if they’ve been nominated or don’t do these things? That’s ok, they’ll let you know. Alright…quit bugging me.
1/ Tomcat Commentary By Tim This is a blog of seven cats living in a loving home. Buddy and Einstein our boyfriends live here.
2/ERin the Cat Princess…..life from a princesses point of view. She’s mad about cream too.
3/ Three Chatty Cats This blog regulars are Olive, Dexter and Sophie….3 chatty cats. This blog also delves into shelters and articles about rescuing cats. It is very informative.
4/ The Cat On My Head is an awesome blog as are the Blues cats. There are several kitties living under the same roof, mostly living amicably. Not always though. Check them out.
5/ Easy Blog What can we say? Easy is a Woofie unto himself. He is both fun to be with and a fun host like during the Pawlympics in the event Tuneful Farts.
My stars, it was hot as hell fire here today. The mercury climbed to 26C. That’s 78F for you southern neighbours. Now, you may laugh and say, “What’s her problem. That’s not hot.” For us 80F is hot. We are used to cooler weather. Peeps wear shorts and t-shirts when the temperature gets to -3C.
I tried very hard to get Kali to come outside and relax. C’mon Kali, its cool out here. Go away Shoko. I’m not coming out unless I wear protective clothing. My furs might catch fire. Ok, wait until I get my gear on. There. I can deal better with the heat this way. You know Kali you look like a dork. You remind me of Richard Simmons, if he were lucky enough to be a feline. Aww… but I won’t go funny in the head from the sun. That’s because you’re already funny in the head Kali.
SHOKO – black
KALI – orange
