Hey, look, look Nellie….a moose! Me’s not seen a moose befores not even in Edmonton.. He’s a bigs guy.
Mes going to rides a moose, girls. Let’s go! This big guy says his name is Marvin and mes can ride on his back. Yipeee!
Thank yous so much for the ride, Marvin. Yous are the nicest moosie mes ever met. Heys, Shoko what’s yous looking ats? I got an idea to get back at Cow Kitty…..again. First you and Kali must make a big snowball and I’ll build a contraption to deal with it.
That should be big enough Nellie. I think Shoko wants to throw it at Cow Kitty but she’s not strong enough for this mammoth snowball,
Ok, I got it made as best I can. Nellie you must stand right there and Kali and I’ll move the snowball over here. MOL When I see Cow Kitty, I’ll yell and you jump off the CATapult. Cow Kitty will get a snowball to remember.
Leap off Nellie! Look at that snowball fly. MOL
Let’s get inside, looks like we’ve done all the damage we can outside for today.
It’s the Cat On My Head’s Sunday Selfie today so let’s the three of us pose for the selfie. You can pop in and say hi to our friends posing for their selfie. Hey, I’m a real *Cat From Hell.* My eyes are glowing red…hehe.
Mom wants to give you your medicine and wants you to have a nice warm nap, Nellie. We’ll come snuggle cause we’re all cold. I wish you didn’t have to go home tomorrow Nellie. Mes too Shoko but mommy worries about mes so it is for the bestest that I gos home. Maybe mes can come back in the spring when its warm and yous planting your vegetable garden Shoko. We would have a fine time in the dirt Nellie. It’s so light I can bat it all over the place.
Let’s sleep…I’m tired my meezer sistehs.
May you have a friend that insists you don’t snore but purr while sleeping.
C’mon Kali, let’s blow this joint. Why? It’s nice and cozy in here. We need the fresh air blowing in our furs. The wind is terrible. I want to be warm. Ok, so it’s cold. How cold is it, Shoko? It’s so cold the snowman has rosy cheeks!
Boy, do I ever. MOL The hot water on her cold butt was not relaxing….she said it was so painful and she was fussing about. MOL. She learned to get herself a little wet with warm water before leaping into a hot tub. Experience is a great teacher.
You’re too young to remember mom with the old Taurus but she had trouble plugging the car in so dad got her a light that would turn on when the car was plugged in. You mean sorta like a plug-in for idiots? MOL…exactly.
Ohhh, what about the time Cow Kitty’s dad left his truck on the street and the snow plough came along and blocked him in. The snow was deep that year. It was so funny watching him dig his car out,,,he used words we can’t say…..at least when mom’s looking. MOL
C’mon sis let’s get some air….ok, lead on Shoko.
I’m going into a nice warm heat register. It’s too cold for me. Leave me some room on that warm heat register….I’ll just *sniff*, *sniff* this patch of dirt. Make room for moi….coming through. Much better….I feel like a princess again instead of a pioneer braving the elements. Not that again, Kali. Go to sleep.
What’s worse than snowing cats and dogs?
A: Hailing taxi cabs!
It’s Friday and time for 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader to host four fill-ins.
1. My nickname is…. THUNDERPAW. WHAT IS THAT NOISE IN THE HALL AT 3am. IT’S A BALL, NO, ITS A HORSE, WRONG AGAIN, IT’S THUNDERPAW. DOWN THE HALL, THROUGH THE BEDROOM, RUNNING UP THE CAT STAIRS, AROUND THE PILLOWS, TIME TO PAW MOM ON THE SHOULDER, HARDER IF SHE DOESN’T WAKE. THAT’S HOW I GOT THE NAME THUNDERPAW.
2. The first thing I ever won was FROM THE CAT ON MY HEAD BLOG. IT WAS A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. I CAN’T REMEMBER THE NAME BUT IT WAS THE CUTEST LITTLE HARD COVER PICTURE BOOK. WE DO LOVE OUR BOOKS.
3. I have never been to ….. VISIT EINSTEIN OF TOMCAT COMMENTARY BY TIM IN PENNSYLVANNIA BUT WOULD LOVE TO GO.
4. Next year…… I want us all to be very healthy.
It’s a disgustingly wet day here so I’m sleeping in a nice warm bed. It’s time to get up and practice taking my selfie cause The Cat On My Head is hosting the Sunday Selfies.
Here I am trying to ignore everything around me….Shoko in particular and focus on snapping the remote. Unfortunately, the remote was stiff and I didn’t get to look at the camera before it decided to click the picture. You win some and you lose some. hehe
It’s Friday and very warm here. Yesterday mom, Kali and I went outside in the snow as it was -4C. Mom made a little snowman and put it on the steps to the deck.
Yahoo, I can go in Athena and Marie’s Caturday display. The instructions are complicated so pay attention. First go to the name of the host blog and click on the name. It’s called Athena and Marie’s Caturday Blog for those that have forgotten or your paws were too slippery after dripping sardine juice into your mouth that you slide off the computer and had a lapse in memory.
I broke my own rule today. I vowed I would never climb, other than jumping over the fence that is….well today I saw a woodpecker. You know, the feathery guys with one big long nose that goes tap-tap-tap on the chimney. Well, I had enough of this Joe Woodpecker and wanted him gone.
By the time I was up on the Arbor and already to tell that woodpecker where to go….he was gone. It was dang slippery up on those wooden bars but I stayed up there for awhile just to make sure that guy didn’t come back.
Mom was making Potato and Leek soup for supper and dad was wishing for Chinese food. Dad won and the potato and leek soup will be savoured another day.
Mom and dad, happy anniversary from Kali and I. We promise to be good and not barf from overeating for the whole day. You’ve been married for 44 years…holy dude, that’s like forever. hehehe
Today is selfie Sunday so I have a selfie with Elfin John. Do drop by the blog Timmy’s Commentary and view all the other special anipal selfies.
