Another fun day helping dad change the bed. I must make sure the sheet is straight.
Today is Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home. What a good day to give thanks for all we have. We have lots. Mostly we have love. Love makes people want to give and be kind. Our parents want us to be happy and content. Click on the name or the badge and go visit.
It’s not bad out here, Tyebe. Let’s go for a walk n the Lane. Mom come along.
The Kitty Kat moved to our Lane. Stripper is so happy it’s in this neighbourhood. I have never seen the Kitty Kat Klub yet Tyebe. Just imagine the entrance is just off our Lane. You know the crappy house….ya. They aren’t using the crappy house as a club are they, Tyebe?
Geez, won’t they get a lot of nosy peeps coming to the door of the Kitty Kat Klub to find out what’s happening? They could make a mess. Stripper was explaining that the club runs on feline vision. Only those peeps that can comprehend like a cat , can even see the Klub. Really? This is a modern idea for a club then! Must be some magical type of science. I guess! So mom won’t see what we see? I bet she will. She is so attuned to us that she will see what we see.
Sunday Selfies of our Walk
We are joining the kitties Blue from The Cat On My Head blog for our Sunday Selfie this fine day. Click on the highlighted name or try your luck at hitting the badge and be wisked away.

Shoko, mom is putting me into the buggy. Please come with us. I’m coming, Tyebe. Hey, this is nice and comfy. The blanket smells like someone was quite anxious on it. Could it be you, Tyebe? I guess!
Tyebe….get off of me….I know you’re scared but you better not pee on me.
How can you be so calm. Shoko? Cause this is a walk and we’re protected by the buggy. Are you sure? Of course I am. Try sitting up front and remember I’m right behind you if anything scares you. I’ll hiss at them like a snake in heat. OK….I’m counting on you, Shoko.
Is that a dog? He’s so small. Shoko, he’s my size. I could wipe the snot outta him. The things one sees riding in a buggy.
That was fun Shoko. Let’s go out again mom. Once a day is enough, Tyebe.
I feel so grown up Shoko. Cooper Murphy will think I’m a mature lady. Grown up, at times, but hardly mature.
FABLED FRIDAY FILL-INS
I did NOT say you stink, Budd!
It sure sounded like it, Tyebe. Well, I didn’t say such a horrible thing. You do smell different, though. Whatcha’ mean I smell different? I eat and drink the same stuff you do. Your mother walks like a duck, Tyebe! She quacks just like you do.
Ya! Well, she’s your mother too! Oh right, I forgot. Do you think she’ll always walk like a duck? I don’t think so. She’s just starting to walk again after 2 months so maybe we’d walk like a duck too.
Mom’s doing her best you two. Soon she’ll be able to play with us again. Budd, I said you stink and you do. You smell like a male cat. I’m not used to this smell but if Tyebe can get used to the smell, I will too.
Today is Ellen of 15 and Meowing and Lorianne of The Four-Legged Furballs Fill-Ins. Let’s all take a sentence. Click on their red names and be swished over to visit them.
1. I am always…..PREPARED CAUSE I’M A KIT SCOUT.
2. I brake for…..TREATS. I HAVE MY RADAR EYES ON SO I CAN SPOT A TREAT LIKE REAL QUICK.
3. I’d be lying if I said….. I CAN TAKE OR LEAVE BREAKFAST. I’M RIGHT IN DAD’S FACE FOR BREAKFAST. THERE’S NO WAY HE CAN MISS ME.

4. SLOW AND STEADY…..wins the race.

Mom Plans a Pit Stop
Budd, Shoko and Tyebe I have something to tell you. Ya, is it about our food. I know you’re going to give us more. I can run all over the counters NOW. Is that it? These two will have to stay away from me when I’m sleeping? It’d be hard to enforce though. No, everybody’s wrong. What? I’m going to have to go for a pit stop so I won’t be home for a day or so. OMC!! Who will feed me….I mean us? I’ll starve. I’m not used to fending for myself anymore. Besides eating garbage is awful. Dad is going to make sure you’re all fed. Oh my, he doesn’t add gravy like you do and he doesn’t tell us what we’re eating. He doesn’t know how! Yes, he does. He’ll start feeding you now so he can ask questions. Well, I don’t know about this idea.
Not bad! What is it, dad? It’s liver and chicken. Really? Hmmm… lots of gravy. Not bad dad. Gee, thanks Shoko.
Hey mom what’s this pit stop for? Well, seems I need retreading as the left tire is getting worn out. Ya, you do walk rather slowly. Is this why you aren’t outside building a snowman this year, mom? Your bang on, Shoko. Can’t you just get another tire? It’s even more work and time in the hospital if I get a new tire/ankle replacement. What’s that place called a Ho spit all? Doesn’t sound like a very nice place. You heard of it, Budd? No, but I wouldn’t want to go anywhere if they’re going to spit on me. We’d rather have you here, mom. Just think in about 6 weeks I’ll be able to walk with the best of them. THAT LONG! That’s like a year from now! I’ll be old. No, Tyebe it’s only a month and a half.
How long will you be in this horrible ho! spit all? Will you forget us? I could never forget you three and dad. I hope to be there overnight and then home. That’s not bad so then you’ll be feeding us again? No, I’ll have to stay in bed for a wee while and then I’m not supposed to walk about very much while my foot heals. Well, I don’t care for this lying around a bit. Will you play with us like you usually do? Of course I will, but you’ll have to come to me on the bed and play. We can do that.
I’m going to take your Christmas gift with me to the Ho! spite all….I mean hospital, Tyebe. Wow!! Really. So you really like the seagulls. I sure do, my passion is seagulls after cats of course. Those seagulls have Tyebe written all over them. When I hear them I’ll think of you immediately.

Can we visit you, mom? Really, I don’t think you’d like it there Tyebe. They frown upon playing and biting cords and hoses. Budd, they don’t share food either. Shoko you dislike people you don’t know so none of you would care for it. Sounds like a disgusting place. When do you go? Tuesday morning. That’s pretty quick so Wednesday afternoon you should be home with us again. Yep and believe me I’ll be delighted to come home.

Thankful Thursday’s Walk
Tyebe, c’mon we’re going for a walk in the Lane.
We haven’t been in the Lane for a couple of months. Woohoo! Budd, Budd….wake up. Get your walking booties on, we’re all going for a walk in the Lane.
Hurry up you two. Quite sniffing every little blade of grass or it’ll be dark before you get to the falling down house!

We’s hurrying Shokos. Come on Budd….get your paws movin’.
Ah! The smell of fall is in the air. It’s getting cold. Look the Mountain Ash is loaded with berries again. A hard winter’s in store for this area.
Tyebe and Budd will never find me in here. mol Hissss….you found me Tyebe. There’s no fur growing between me’s claws Shokos.
Mom wants us to head home. So let’s go, gang.
Already, it’s time to go home! No, I’s don’t wanna go!
Let’s go home, Tyebe. Shoko said something about it being Thankful Thursday so let’s tell everyone about our adventure in the Lane.
That was a fun walk even if I had to wear a leash. We are so thankful mom took us out for a walk in the Lane. We are joining Brian’s Home for Thankful Thursday. Just click on the badge and be taken to see the other thankful anipals.
Me’s sure am tired now.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

My First Selfie In The Lane
C’mon mom, let’s go for our walk. It’s not as windy.
SHOKO…..BLACK
MOM……MAROON
This is what’s left of our snow.
Compared to the snow from a little over a month ago.

Um…I’ll be busy for awhile mom. This newspaper is very aromatic and ready for the sniffing.

Juno’s been out here. The nosy little tinkle head. Smudge is still here, good for him. He must’ve got a good vet report and that rash must’ve disappeared. I really must invite him over for some nip and a spot of cool water. Be there in a few minutes mom!
Buds are just starting to form on this wee tree. I’ll take a picture in 2 weeks and see how far it’s come along.
I’m headed to the nip Shoks. Be right there, mom.

Look at those juicy sprouts of nip. Some little tinkle head next door has been getting it all dirty. Geez!
It’s also Sunday Selfie time at The Cat On My Head.
Jump on over and participate with us or just have a peek at your buddies. Hit the highlighted blog hop’s name and you’re there!
How’s this for a quickie….selfie. I made it while walking. No moss growing under my paws!
Spring into Monday, my friends.
Signs of Fall Around Fort Meezer
Last night was cold…Kali and I snuggled up with mom instead of leaving the bedroom after our story and treats. It was -7C and we felt quite chilled. Mom even turned the heat up. Mom and I went out for a walk in the Lane today. Fall was in the air. First, we checked out the backyard.
Woah, the sunflower is looking like the giant fell out! Wonder where he went? Time to take it down and put the head on the shed roof for hungry birds.
Speaking of the shed, we have two of them now, thanks to dad. Nice, eh? The big one is for the snow blower, lawn mower, shovels etc. The little one is for ornaments and containers for summer. We’ll see how this works out. These peeps aren’t the most organized…so we’ll see what spring brings.
The brussel sprouts have had their touch of frost to make them sweeter. It’s kinda sad….all my work and it’s over for another year. *sigh*
The Lane is looking like it’s seen better days. Trees have either yellow leaves, a few green leaves or they’re bald. This is the time of year that little critters are up and actively looking for warm homes.
Oh, oh!! It smells like fresh mouse, right here. You go ahead mom, I’ll catch up.
The four-legged little beast got away but I know where he lives….mol
Ya, let’s go see what Kali’s doing at the house.
Where’d those two go…..my tummy says it’s dinner time.
Sunday Selfies with Shoko
The Cat on My Head is having her Sunday Selfie blog hop and I thought it was my turn….besides Kali’s asleep and snoring. It’s a short walk from Kali’s bed to the computer desk and it seems Kali has no trouble getting there. MOL
As I was Saying The Cat On My Head‘s selfies are today. Come join us and show us your tremendous ability to take selfies.
I was concentrating so hard, that I look mad but I’m not. Dang, I missed the tips of my ears.
Visions of Artistic Wonder…Or I’m on Fire for you Baby
What a lovely day for a walk and a stroll. We haven’t all been in the Lane for some time. Let’s see what’s happening back there.
What’s that movement in the grass? Should I go home? Cwap! It’s just Cow Kitty, nothing to be afraid of.
Yep, that’s Cow Kitty. Keep moving Cow Kitty!
Mom took the beautiful picture of me admiring our neighbourhood. As you can see I am no longer sick. Mom says I eat like a little trucker so no problem with losing weight anymore.
This is Artsy Caturday and our buddy Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty is hosting the event. Fly over and look at the Artsy, Fartsy types she has on show.
Here is our donation this Caturday.
Mom used Lunapic and chose a border frame and the filter fire.
Have a super Caturday friends.
Rolling and Strolling In Our Neighbourhood
Mom and I went for a good walk today. Well, she walked, I rode. The things I saw my friends. They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL! *sigh* What? OK, I’ll get on with the story, mom. It was unbelievable! Pure craziness. Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too. Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first. I crept to the back of the basket…near mom. There were so many strange noises. Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers. Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL
Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud. I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.

We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL

How artsy….a fine creation from peeps that have seen their fill of wintry landscapes.
Mom said we both had done very well and we should head home.
