Friday Fill-Ins

Before we get started let’s take a minute and honour Butter Lovin Boomer from Da Tabbies of Trout Towne.

SHOKO…..BLACK
KALI…..ORANGE                                                                                                           I’ll see you again someday Boomer.                                                                     May your steps be light and  the butter lead your way home Boomer.

Boomer aka Bum, was born on May 1 of 1998.  He walked off into the sunset with St. Francis of Assisi on March 7, 2017.  Boomer lived for 19 years!  That is some life span my friend. He must’ve had a mission.

Now, let’s get on with the Friday fill-ins co-hosted by Ellen Of 15 and Meowing and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.

I will answer the first 2 sentences and Shoko will tackle the last 2 sentences
1. I hope …BLUE BLOODS….. gets renewed for another season.   MOM IS SO HAPPY WATCHING TOM SELLECK THAT IT WOULD UPSET HER IF IT WERE CANCELLED.  I LIKE IT WHEN MOM IS HAPPY.

2. My first crush was…..GAGE……A JET BLACK KITTY THAT WAS AROUND MY AGE WHEN I WAS A KITTEN.  HE LIVED ACROSS THE STREET WHEN WE WERE IN THE OTHER HOUSE.  I USED TO GO VISIT HIM AT HIS PLACE AND HE WOULD ROLL ME DOWN THE SLIGHT HILL ON HIS FRONT LAWN.    I WAS A BIT ON THE ROLY POLY SIDE WHEN I WAS KITTEN.

Take it away Shoko.

3……BEING IN MY VEGETABLE GARDEN….. usually makes me…..SUPER HAPPY.  UNLESS, THERE IS SNOW ALL OVER THE GARDEN.

4. If I were a super-hero, I would be…..CATWOMAN.  I WOULD DRESS UP IN TIGHT FITTING JEANS AND SWING MY WAY ACROSS TOWN LOOKING FOR PEEPS THAT HURT ANIMALS AND HURT THEM BACK.

There you have it our fill-ins for this Friday

May the mouse you’re chasing blow you kisses
from the opposite side of the fence.

Have a happy weekend  and don’t nip and walk.  Too dangerous.  Stay home.

Remember Me Thursday

Yes, I remember the wonderful days vividly!  Those carefree days of summer in the veggie garden.  I watched Cow Kitty make a fool of himself attacking the pea netting.                                                             aaaagardenshoksmI’m sniffing to see if there is enough water here for the peas…..if not I must contribute…MOL

Cow Kitty was delighted to be back in the vegetable garden too.  Sitting up on the frame for the peas, surveying the garden..  See how well the Scarlet Runner beans produced this year.                                                                         aackbeans

I dipped my paws in the pool water. The pool was an oasis for all thirsty creatures that braved Fort Meezer.  We did have more water in the pool.  Luckily there were no ducks swimming in it.  Cow Kitty would have leaped in the pool if that happened.

We were introduced to our new stroller. I had reservations. I mean a basket on wheels?  Seriously?  I had no idea of the thrills ahead.

Get outta here you yappy woofies….your mama wears diapers!!  MOL…..hiththtth!                                                   aaaaaashokostroll

Kali was delighted with a slow stroll through the neighbourhood. She is very nosy and happy when out and about meeting peeps.

Kali was happy to let the woofies be and enjoy the fresh air.

We had several walks down the Lane.  Cow Kitty even came with us.  I didn’t like him with us, he’s too bossy.                                                  aaaaashokckkaliOh mom, can you enlarge this picture?  Kali is way behind on the right hand side but she looks like a dot.  She always seems to dance to her own tune.                                                                      ackskalIs that the best you can do?  Kali’s still a dot but everyone can see I’m telling Cow Kitty off and he could care less.

We participated with the others with Phoebe’s sunglasses.  I felt like a movie star but all was dark.  Kali wore them too. She’s not impressed with mom putting them on.  Whatever!!

Kali and I entered a few events at the Pawlympics, Easy’s Tuneful Farting, Noodle’s Tongue Rolls and Raspberries and Dezi’s Fly Fishin’.  My favourite was Easy’s Tuneful Farting cause it really messed with Kali’s head. MOL                                                                          kalitunefulfartingKali is embarrassed because ladies don’t talk of these terrible bodily functions.

We won  ribbons and a certificate for our efforts in Easy’s Tuneful Farting.                                                                   img_0815

This summer I had two teeth out and met the substitute Tooth Fairy.  Scary and hairy!                                                                           atoothfairyMom took me for a walk on my harness and found out I can slip out of the harness like a magician.                                                                      aashokcrleashMOL….that was fun!  The look on mom’s face was priceless.

These have been great summer moments in our lives and a fantabulous way to share on Remember me Thursday.

To keep peeps up to date.  Here is a picture of mom’s finger without the bandage.  No more drugs or pain just a little tightness on the finger.                                                              aafingerniShe gets the stitches out tomorrow.  She’s some happy about it.

There you have it our happy memories of the summer.  Tomorrow is the first day of Fall and the cold weather.

May all your worms be in the ground my friends! MOL                                                                   SHOKOKALI2

Sunday Selfie With Kali

It’s time for planting our vegetable garden this week so if we have neglected to post very often, this is why.  Victoria Day weekend is the traditional planting weekend of us northern gardeners.  Is the 24th of May long weekend the time the south plants too?  Shoko is out helping mom whether she wants any help or not.  Mom has transplanted 4 sweet peppers into beds in the greenhouse.  Dad is tearing up the sun deck to get rid of grass growing through the 2 by 4’s.  He put more landscaping fabric under the deck.  Everyone seems busy with their own chores.  Even Shoko is examining flowers for any sign of bugs.                                                             zoomed shokMe?  What am I doing today?  Well, I don’t like insects anywhere near me so I’m inside getting ready to take my Sunday Selfie.  The Cat on My Head is the bloghost for this lovely event every week.  Just click on the bloghost name and you’ll see the most beautiful anipals in the world.                                                                    pizap.com14548716692071I’m so proud of myself, I can press the remote selfie button and clean my face at the same time.                                                                Kali and ShoksHave a great day and avoid insects at all costs.
