Aww…a fine day to mellow and relax, inside. It’s a very cold day with tons of sunshine. What temperature did the weatherman say it was this morning, Kali?
Guess who came over for mouses in a block of cheese?
Athena, that wild and creative gal is having another Artsy Caturday and I decided to join in on the parade. Do pop by Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty blog and see what the artsy world has done to our friends. MOL A big hug and a thank you to Dezi and Raena’s mom from DeziWorld for making this picture possible.
Cow Kitty was over for a visit today. He slept out on the bench for a long time. Finally he came in and played with our cheese and mice.
After he rough housing with the cheese…knocked it across the dining room floor and then played in the tunnel, he wanted to go home. Cow Kitty very seldom talks but when mom let him out, he softly mewed at her. Then he headed toward his home.
Today is Flyday and our hosts 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader have presented us with four new fill-ins.
1. I wish …..MY HISSING…..would bring back THE UNSMELLY SHOKO. THIS SHOKO ALWAYS SMELLS LIKE MEDICINE. YUCKY!!
2. An act of kindness that I do often is…… CLEAN UP SCRAPS MOM HAS SPILLED ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR. THAT WAY SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO GET THE BROOM OUT AND SWEEP THE FLOOR.
There has been so much rain that the flowers and plants either grew like stink or were drowned. Mom and I looked around the garden at the damage and growth earlier today.
Seems to us the Clematis, Alpine Willy decided to put a barrier of green along the front porch. Willy is indeed very happy with the damp weather. I hide in the growth and jump out at mom and Kali. I scare Kali every time. Kali should be out here helping me show you our garden.
A close look into the house shows us that Kali is sound asleep on top of the condo penthouse.
Cow Kitty is grabbing a quick nap under the hose roll.
Everyone seems to be sleeping but me. I’ll show you more of the garden soon. *yawn*, time for me to have a nap too.
We are chillaxin’ around the backyard today. Several new cats have moved into the neighbourhood along with new neighbours for mom and dad. The good news is the Woofies that barked like idiots on a stick whenever Kali and I walked down the Lane, moved away. Kali greeted the black cat that lives in the house behind us. There is a young black cat that lives, we think, in the same house. The young’un’ is about 5 or 6 months and altogether too delighted to see us. We need our personal space and this young’un’ hasn’t heard of boundaries yet. This lovely creature is our new next door neighbour, Juno. She sits and watches Kali and I on the deck. She tends to be a tad rude staring at us but I guess she’s not used to such happy and pretty dudettes living next door,
Of course Cow Kitty is still here and I play with him a bit more. Cow kitty chases me and I can be seen as a seal colored blur headed toward the nip and from Cow Kitty. I used to run to the sliding glass door with a puffy tail…that’s when he used to scare me, not anymore. Every morning Cow Kitty has a play fight with the pea netting. We know he’s playing and not stuck because he stops playing and has a tinkle, then goes back to fighting with the netting.
This is my intense look.
May Good Luck find you around every corner. Isn’t Good Luck a Woofie, Shoko? Shhhh….just smile real pretty like, Kali. Please take Good Luck home with you.

Mom and I went for a good walk today. Well, she walked, I rode. The things I saw my friends. They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL! *sigh* What? OK, I’ll get on with the story, mom. It was unbelievable! Pure craziness. Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too. Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first. I crept to the back of the basket…near mom. There were so many strange noises. Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers. Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL
Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud. I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.
We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL
