Tyebe Tuesday December 11

It’s getting closer to Christmas.  Two weeks today and we’ll be eating turkey and playing with our toys.  Hopefully a few treats too.  How many of you said, “No!” and looked on the calendar?
Well, these ears have to go. There’s no way I’m wearing these again. Perhaps dad would like to keep them.
I adjusted the new ornament mom put on the tree.

Let’s put it where I can get at it more easily.

Much better, I can bat it anywhere from the tent.
My work here is done for the day.

Thankful Thursday with Ornaments

Today is Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home.  Join in the blog hop why don’tcha?  Just hit the red letters with your mousie and you’ll be visiting.
Today mom tried to decorate the livingroom.  I helped.  She put the greenery on the mantel.  I wanted to put my nanner on the mantel but slipped on the lights.  Oh dear!  Everything ended up on top of me on the floor.  So that didn’t help.  I tried again but with the same results.  Mom was getting a little ticked and I was getting tired.  Time to move on.
I examined the box where the tree lives for any parts that had fallen off.  Looks good dad…it’s a go….no pieces of the tree are stuck in the box.

The base had to be examined for any breakage, spider webs and other vermin.   Once again I helped.  I supervised the light inside the base, no spider or webs.  All other vermin had cleared out.  Check….ready for the tree.

I am so thankful that mom moved this tree indoors and is dressing it up.  What fun!!  Budd and Shoko like it too but don’t seem so excited.
I want to hug this tree….it’s beautiful.                                                                 C’mon let me hug you…..you big green trapeze.
Can you bring my dinner over here and I’ll share it with Mr. Tree.                                                              Then I’ll jump up and down on the branches and see if I bounce.

Thankful Thursday

Today’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home and we are all thankful for something different this week.

Click on Brian’s Home badge and see your buddies being thankful.

Tyebe what are you thankful for this week. Well, Budd, I’m thankful for the new mirror mom got. It kept me busy for quite a while. There was a cat that looked just like me in there. I kept looking behind the mirror but this kitty was very thin.

See that kitty? She looks just like me.

Look Budd…there’s a dude that looks like you in the mirror too,

Smile at him Budd. Maybe he’ll smile back. mol *hic* He did, he smiled back. He’s very thin though Budd. We don’t want to see you that thin…ever!

What about you Shokos, what are you thankful for?

I’m thankful you and Budd are so fascinated by the mirror and aren’t thinking about jumping on me.

Budd, what are you most thankful for my bunkie.

Mom bought me a name tag for my collar. I’m so thankful she has made me one of the family and given me a name tag to prove it.

What are you thankful for today my friends?

TYEBE…..ROYAL BLUE
BUDD…..SEAWEED GREEN

Thanks For Thursday

What a hectic week.  Most of the perennial flowers have been planted this week.  Mom wants to finish planting by the end of next week.  Dad is making a raised garden for my veggie garden.

Everyone seems busy except Tyebe…notice new spelling! She is hanging in the house sleeping and generally biting everything in sight.

Today is Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home.  Come join us.  Click on the blog hop name and be swept out to sea….sorry I mean be swept over to Brian’s Home.

I’s am going to tell yous what is the most thankful ting for me today. I was tinking about this earlier and figured I’s have many tings to be thankful for but the most terrific item today has been the basket on moms desk. Why?

Cause it makes a perfect backdrop for me’s centerfold as Miss Kitty Litter of 2018. mol *hick*

Wordless Wednesday….Well, Almost Wordless Wednesday

Aww…a fine day to mellow and relax, inside.  It’s a very cold day with tons of sunshine.  What temperature did the weatherman say it was this morning, Kali?                                                                shoko-with-sunglasses

Cow Kitty was over for a visit today.  He slept out on the bench for a long time.  Finally he came in and played with our cheese and mice.                               aacksmcr

After he rough housing with the cheese…knocked it across the dining room floor and then played in the tunnel, he wanted to go home.  Cow Kitty very seldom talks but when mom let him out, he softly mewed at her.  Then he headed toward his home.

Have a fine weekend my pals.                                                      sistersinarmsfall

Today is Flyday and our hosts 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader have presented us with four new fill-ins.

1. I wish …..MY HISSING…..would bring back  THE UNSMELLY SHOKO.  THIS SHOKO ALWAYS SMELLS LIKE MEDICINE.  YUCKY!!

2. An act of kindness that I do often is…… CLEAN UP SCRAPS MOM HAS SPILLED ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR.  THAT WAY SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO GET THE BROOM OUT AND SWEEP THE FLOOR.

3.  I still have …..THE GOOSE…..from my childhood.                                                                        4 May 02 2smMOM CUT HIS HEAD OFF BUT IT’S MY GOOSE.

Strolling Around Fort Meezer

There has been so much rain that the flowers and plants either grew like stink or were drowned.  Mom and I looked around the garden at the damage and growth earlier today.

Seems to us the Clematis, Alpine Willy decided to put a barrier of green along the front porch.  Willy is indeed very happy with the damp weather.  I hide in the growth and jump out at mom and Kali.  I scare Kali every time.                                                                aaaalpinewillyKali should be out here helping me show you our garden.                                                                             aaakfinal

A close look into the house shows us that Kali is sound asleep on top of the condo penthouse.

acknap

Cow Kitty is grabbing a quick nap under the hose roll.

Everyone seems to be sleeping but me.  I’ll show you more of the garden soon. *yawn*, time for me to have a nap too.

Hangin’ In Da Hood

We are chillaxin’ around the backyard today.  Several new cats have moved into the neighbourhood along with new neighbours for mom and dad.  The good news is the Woofies that barked like idiots on a stick whenever Kali and I walked down the Lane, moved away.                                                                ablack catkaKali greeted the black cat that lives in the house behind us.  There is a young black cat that lives, we think, in the same house.  The young’un’ is about 5 or 6 months and altogether too delighted to see us.  We need our personal space and this young’un’ hasn’t heard of boundaries yet.                                                                  ajunoThis lovely creature is our new next door neighbour, Juno.  She sits and watches  Kali and I on the deck.  She tends to be a tad rude staring at us but I guess she’s not used to such happy and pretty dudettes living next door,

ajunodone Juno did pop round and say hi to us while her parents were having a BBQ with mom and dad.

Of course Cow Kitty is still here and I play with him a bit more.  Cow kitty chases me and I can be seen as a seal colored blur headed toward the nip and from Cow Kitty.  I used to run to the sliding glass door with a puffy tail…that’s when he used to scare me, not anymore.                                                                    ackdomeEvery morning Cow Kitty has a play fight with the pea netting.  We know he’s playing and not stuck because he stops playing and has a tinkle, then goes back to fighting with the netting.

This is my intense look.

May Good Luck find you around every corner.     Isn’t Good Luck a Woofie, Shoko? Shhhh….just smile real pretty like, Kali. Please take Good Luck home with you.

Rolling and Strolling In Our Neighbourhood

Mom and I went for a good walk today.  Well, she walked, I rode.    The things I saw my friends.  They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL!  *sigh*   What?  OK,  I’ll get on with the story, mom.  It was unbelievable!   Pure craziness.   Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too.  Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first.   I crept to the back of the basket…near mom.   There were so many strange noises.  Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers.   Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL                                                      ash1wksm

Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud.  I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.

We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL

How artsy….a fine creation from peeps that have seen their fill of wintry landscapes.

Mom said we both had done very well and we should head home.                                                                  ashwksm

Mom was talking with our neighbour on our way home and he realized I was sitting in the stroller, so he asked about me and mom explained we went for a roll and stroll. He has two cats and was enthralled with the stroller. He said the pet stroller was, “Cutting edge” and I had to agree with him, at least for Prince George it was very *cutting edge*. I yelled at mom to hurry up and we were on the move again.

Kali met us at the door and was delighted to see us, mewing up a storm.  I told her all about the sights we saw and she licked my head. Aww….sis…I had a good time. I’m sure tired though.

S’cuse my friends I must have a well deserved nap. Can you imagine the dreams I’ll have? MOL
