1. Keep calm and …..SMILE. THEY’LL NEVER KNOW YOU ENJOYED THEIR FISH BEFORE THEM. .
2. WINTER….. disappoints me. IT IS SO COLD THAT I HAVE TO STAY INSIDE UNTIL THE AFTERNOON WHEN THE SUN MAY COME OUT. NO MORE RUNNING OUT IN THE MORNING TO GO TINKLES. THE GROUND IS FROZEN AND THE TEMPERATURE FREEZES ONE’S TINKLE. BRRR… YOU SEE WE ARE WALKING OUTSIDE AIMLESSLY TO KEEP THE COLD AWAY.
3. OREGANO….. is my ….DOWNFALL. I LOVE OREGANO AND TRY MOM’S IN THE GARDEN EVERY YEAR. Yes, oregano is a perennial.
4. In retrospect, ….I WAS A GOOD KITTY MOST OF MY LIFE SO I CAN LET MY fURS DOWN OCCASIONALLY AND BE A LITTLE BIT HELTER SKELTER.
Today has been a very mild day….at least for us. Mom, Kali and I headed out for some much needed fresh air. Mom was surprised Kali was so happy to get out but I guess she was getting as bored as the rest of us with being stuck in day after day. Kali and I headed straight for the nip. Ever since mom decided to feed any cats and their monkeys left out on cold nights, the place has been crawling with introoders. We wanted to make sure the nip was fine. The nip was bald as a billy goat! Think that was winter’s chill, not the introoders though. Kali ran over and left her scent on what was left of the nip so these crazy dudes know it’s our nip.
I thought she was going tinkles on the nip and was mewing at her to stop. She said her waterworks were chilled and she couldn’t do anything even if she wanted. to.
After our visit outside where we exerted our dominance we decided it was time for a snooze.
Kali felt a bit too fresh and curled inside the tent mom makes between the pillows.
I on the other paw, was feeling just right, so I retired to my bed beside the toilet paper. Aww…a comfy corner of the bathroom.
Today is also Sunday Selfie with The Cat On My Head. Go visit them….read their news of what’s happening in their house and say hiya to your anipals that are posing.
Easy is heading home today and we are going to help light our friend’s way home. As members of Blogville, we salute you Easy and shall never forget you and your antics. Please go to The Lone Star Cats and see the others guiding Easy home. Easy and flat me giving thanks for a happy visitLooks like Easy and flat me exchanged mews and woofs and are ticked with each other but not really. Easy was wondering if he should run or go tinkles…..big decision.
Still Kali and my favourite picture is Easy arriving at my 7th birthday party.
This picture will always be the fun and playful Easy to us. Our love for Easy will live on in our hearts.
Today has been a laid back, do whatever you want day….at least for Kali and I. I started the day with a surprise wash from Kali. I wasn’t sure if she wanted some form of payment so I was a little suspicious of her motives.
After Kali gave me a bath. I was off to the ensuite to examine the shower. Mom has to be kept up to date on the shower condition….does it need cleaning or what? She is a tub freak and dad is the shower freak…sorry dad, you’re not really a freak. Just a term us kitties use for anyone that likes water.
Nothing says I can’t have fun with my silvervine catnip bird while looking for grime.
Kali and I grabbed a small bowl of Fancy Feast Beef for breakfast. I cried out, “Where’s the beef?” in my best dramatic voice. Mom is getting used to it and just walked away. Kali headed into the living room to sit on our tree condo and practice taking selfies for the blog hop on Sunday.
I headed off to the hall for some practicing on my balancing bar.
Woohoo, look Kali…its warm out…let’s blow this joint.
Mom, its not that warm…let us in!!
I’ll help you with our post mom.
I gotta go tinkles mom…..please….let me out….P L E A S E!!
The rest of the afternoon was much the same with in and out, in and out.
Mom is off to bed and we’re following to get a good comfy spot. We start a new book tonight.
The new book is titled, “More Cats in the Belfry.” In this house the author, Doreen Tovey, has two Siamese cats. This sounded good to us so we wanted to hear how other families like us live. It is an uproariously funny book and an excellent read before turning the lights out for the night.
