Hooray, hooray it’s the first of May. Outdoor investigating starts today.
It may not be warm and kitty but it isn’t -30c so poking about is fun.
Shoko’s holding the fence in place while I’m yelling at her not to make walking the fence look like a runway and she is a model cause it ain’t so Shokers.
We are appearing in the blog hop ofThe Cat on my Headso go take a look at the other hoppers by clicking on the badge or name of blog.
Did you talk with Phenny about this month’s selection for In Purrsuit of Flavours,Shoko?I did and there was very little chatter, we decided immediately.
Looks like you caught them off guard, Shoks.
MOL….I did but we decided that Valentine’s Day is coming up so anything sweet is up for grabs. Like what Shoks? Like cookies, cakes, drinks, snacks….you know, “Sweets for my Sweet.” Oh, I like that Shoko. Ok then. Next Wednesday, the 3rd of February is our next installment of In Purrsuit of Flavours with “Sweets for my sweet.” We so love reading the recipes others come up with.
Look at us mom….we’re sittin’ pretty in our own space.
I have the top tier. There is nothing I miss. Any flea ridden introoders are toast. This time of year hardly anyone walks down the street but those monsters with rounded wheels keep coming.
SHoko doesn’t care who’s outside unless they’re in her yard. Budd doesn’t bother with scary outside. He is on the look out for anyone eating.
I’m mewing for everybody to get out and enjoy the sun before it snows again.
This is so invigorating, eh Budd? What do you mean you’ve had enough? You just came out.
That’s it Shoko. Woah, it’s pretty bright. Your eyes are watering. Well. we’re not used to the sun so bright. It’s a wonder we don’t all run and hide from that big ball in the sky. mol
What’s this I see? Is it a bug…..in this weather? Oh no!
It has 6 heads and a dime on his nose! His arms are everywhere…..a monster! Run!
I’m stayin’ right here out of its way. What an ugly creature! It was a mouse? Mice aren’t that ugly. It doesn’t have 6 heads and there is no dime on his nose…..he has some snow on his face. I think Budd’s calling me inside….
OK Tyebe, be a wimp! Today isBrian’s Thankful Thursday so we are joining him. Click on his name or the badge and join us.
We are thankful for such sunny days. We’re looking forward to Spring when we have gorgeous days like today.
Today is also Poetic Thursday with One Spoiled Cat blog. Once again click on the name of the blog or the badge to see others practicing their proses. Here is the picture for today provided by Angel Sammy.
Excuse these two for they know not what they do They are stuck to each other with crazy glue The man is aware only of the weight he has to bear While the lady is drunk as a skunk with not a care Lady in blACK struggles to remain standing upright The guy looks conceited and the woman is very uptight While her leg points upwards to give her balance. Giving me a chance to wonder is this a dance?
MOL…this was fun. Thanks Angel Sammy and Teddy for the chance to express myself.
So this is the first day of February and it’s beautiful…..so sunny and pleasant. We’ve all been outside and enjoyed the sun. Budd came out too but didn’t like the cool air so went back inside very quickly.mol We need a toque for Budd, mom. He just can’t stand the cool temperatures. I’ll get right on it, Tyebe.
There we go Tyebe. He seems to like this toque. He’s so handsome. mom. C’mon Budd let’s go outside.
We’re joining The Cat On My Head with the Kitties Blue . This includes GingerSnap…my guy. *giggle*
I’m sorry there is no meezerism today cause Shoko is sound asleep and I’m not waking her. She’s not a happy kit when she first wakes. Apparently, Shoko and Einey are the same in this respect. Nobody goes near them til they’ve eaten. hehe
It’s lovely out here Tyebe. The sun is shining, the birds are just a chirping and the squirrels are chittering.
Could it be any nicer for the 1st day of November? I don’t know me’s never been here in November.
It’s Thankful Thursday and we are so thankful we’re not wading through snow and can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Whip over to Brian’s Blog and read why your friends are thankful. Click the badge and you’re there.
Budd doesn’t seem to be on the same page as us Tyebe. I’m thankful to be inside playing with my Yeow! cigar.
Me’s, “Walkin’ the walk and talkin’ the talk”…me’s full of myself so Shoko says! All I’s can say is,…Just who am I’s supposed to be full of sis? mol *hic*
It’s Friday and time for Friday Fill ya Ins with our co-hosts 15 and Meowing and Four Legged Furballs. Simply click on the badge and be taken to pictures of your friends. Click on their pictures and be taken to their blog. It’s like sci-fi!
Budd will do the first 2 sentences and Shoko will do the last two.
1. A…..FRIEND….. will…..LIGHTEN YOUR LOAD BY MAKING SURE YOU HAVE FUN.
Shoko’ll never find me here behind the bush.
2. The best time of the day is…..AFTERNOON…..THE SUN IS OUT AND IT’S WARM IN THE BACKYARD.
3. PATIENCE….. is not my strong suit.
Are you two hidden yet? I wanna have a dirt bath!
4. It’s all fun and games until….SOMEONE GETS EXCITED AND FALLS OFF THE DECK. NOT MENTIONING ANY NAMES.
Where are you Shoko? SILENCE Guess, she’s gone outside.
There you are rolling in the flower garden. Well, ya, the dirt is nice and warm. You really ought to try it mom. Thanks, Shoks but this weeding has to be done. Aww…you really do miss out on the finer things in life cause you have to do silly cwap. The weeds just come back again.
Today is Annie from McGuffy’s Reader’s positive message day. Let’s get some pictures of Mother Nature’s gifts to us, Shoko. I don’t think so, mom. I’m pretty happy here. You won’t screw up the pictures to badly without me so show me your stuff.
Well, here are some tulips that have reached for the sun and are ready to bloom.
Two weeks ago I took this picture of the tree in the Lane. Today this is the tree.
Our positive message for Sparks is:
Think positive and have a great week.
I laughed so hard at this meme….it reminded me so much of Kali. Please enjoy.
It’s time for our art work already Kali. This has been a short week. We are tied with the record snowfall of 1944. Wow! That’s a long time ago. I think that’s older than mom and dad.
You see the stick coming out of the snow between two humps of snow? This stick designates where the fire hydrant is located. With the stick coming out, the snow removal guys know not to dump a heap of snow on top of it.
Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty is having her blog hop of artsy animals and we’re going to join. Just click on the blog name and hop over to see the wonderful art of some gifted peeps and their ever-helpful anipals.
I’m attempting to get my head warmed in the sun but the sun keeps moving.
This is me with the Fairy Art on Lunapic. I like it! Mom didn’t make me look dorky for a change.
I am so thankful dad braved the elements…..it was warm, MOL and brought home a train for under our tree. I just love it but Shoko won’t be seen near it.
Have a great Thursday.
Gotta say this….Hi, Kit from Brian’s Home…keep your crotchety side just a glowing my friend.
