Today is Selfie Sunday. A blog hop of all the beautiful and handsome anipals of Blogville. The Cat On My Head is participating in this hop and we are headed to her place for some chattering with our friends and perhaps Mau will make us one of his delish baked goods.
Mom. Kali and I went for a stroll even if it was a grey looking day. We got as far as the Youth Center where dad was busy installing Automatic External Defibrillators (AED). They were donated and are being set up in the halls. Sorry, my friends but this was a long distance selfie and not that great but Kali and I had fun in the stroller anyways.
May you always be the glaze on my ham.

1. Something healthy I do daily is …..RUN AROUND THE YARD. THIS IS GREAT EXERCISE AND GETS THE OLE MUSCLES WARMED UP AND READY FOR THE JUMP UP ONTO THE FENCE.
2, Something unhealthy I do daily is…. GO AFTER KALI AND BITE HER. IT’S UNHEALTHY FOR KALI BUT FUN FOR ME. MOL 3. This Summer, …..I RODE AROUND IN A STROLLER. I SAW LOTS OF INTERESTIN’ PEEPS AND PETS FROM OUR STREET. I GROWLED AT THE DOGS TOO. Cow Kitty likes the stroller too.
4. This Autumn,….. I PLAN TO ATTACK MOM FROM INSIDE MY TUNNEL.
May your fleas be few and your temptations plenty.
Canada Day was yesterday and what a day it was! It was a cold and snowy day. It was not Shoko! It was a warm and sticky day! I don’t think so my dear white pile of fur . Shoko its July, we don’t get snow in July. There is no way my furs were sticky under my arm pits. I have never sweated. Of course not. mom says women glow and men sweat. Have you ever seen Buddy sweat? I’ve never seen Einstein’s lovely floofy tail drenched in sweat. He’s gorgeous and no sweat….
As I was saying yesterday was Canada Day so mom and dad went to the park to see the Canada Day celebrations. They were gone for several hours and it was dark when they came home. I was trying to be brave as we were down to the last kibble. No it wasn’t dark Shoko. They were gone for maybe an hour or two and we had lots of food.
Talk about sweating….bet those dudes and dudettes were hot.
Just a glimpse of our Canada Day celebrations.
Now, it’s time for Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Artsy Caturday blog hop. Take a hop over there and view all the other anipals that had to put up with their mom’s messing with their picture.
Here I am sound asleep in our stroller. Mom used this picture to start messing with for Caturday Artsy Day.
I’ve had quite the day my buds. First thing this morning after breakfast, mom and dad brought me to my carrier. Oh Lordy, no….I feel spectacular….I don’t want to go to the vets. Well, my pleas landed on deaf ears and off we went to the *shudder* vets. The vet was that Dr. Bowman again…Dr. Kalyn is so much friendlier. Dr. Bowman is just a young whipper snapper…I trust someone a little older with some experience under their pelt. Dr. Bowman gave me the usual exam…tree trunk up my butt, mining light to see inside my ears and I got
thrown placed on a scale.. I gained almost a whole pound. Mom was so happy. My food allergy has been kicking up so I have scratched a patch of fur from my neck but there are no marks there. As mom was paying for this insult, dad whisked me to the car. When mom returned we were rolling on all fours.
I headed straight for the food when we got home….I have to work at keeping that pound on my bod…I like to see mom smile and laugh. After dining on the ham mom rolls up for me…I call them ham rollups. I know she sticks my arthritis meds in it but I do love ham and most times I can barely taste the meds. MOL
As I was cleaning the ham off my face, mom decided to put me in the stroller. Now, this stroller has been in the house for some time and I’ve looked it up and down, stepped in it and it doesn’t seem to do anything so I was happy to get in the stroller but I started to pace. Mom stuck her scarf beside me and I relaxed with her smell so close to me.
Since I seemed relaxed mom decided we needed a walk outside in the fresh air. I was a little unsure of this idea but I didn’t say anything, just gave mom my, “Really!” look, with huge blue eyes. She got the message, stroked my furs and chattered away to me as she usually does and I laid down.
We walked up near the park and fancy that, the city had put a bench out for mom to sit on since she walked Shoko up here. Someone must have seen her chugging along and thought she needed some place to sit. MOL The smells were awesome. I loved it and wished we lived closer to the bush.
Mom and I went for a good walk today. Well, she walked, I rode. The things I saw my friends. They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL! *sigh* What? OK, I’ll get on with the story, mom. It was unbelievable! Pure craziness. Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too. Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first. I crept to the back of the basket…near mom. There were so many strange noises. Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers. Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL
Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud. I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.
We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL
