Annie of McGuffy’s Reader is taking a well deserved break from blogging but we will continue with the Sparks she started.
Oh my!! Tyebe is dingy as a fruitcake, jumping at Budd on the other side of the sliding glass door. everything has changed since Kali left.
No more do I lay with a friend and listen to mom’s storytelling. I miss Kali and our togetherness.
Walk with me Shoko. Who said that? It’s me your big sis. I’m always here you know. You just can’t see me. I will always be watching over the family. Did you see that little devil, Tyebe? Sure did and I laughed till my wings shook. Why? That little white typhoon is so hard to live with. Yes? I thought the same thing when you came to live with us. I couldn’t think of a more stupid and rude kitty to call sister. You were always chasing me trying to bite my butt. Me? I wasn’t that bad. You sure were. You bit mom so hard every day that she finally bit you back. NO! I wouldn’t do that. You did but stopped biting when mom bit you and you realized it hurt. Although you kept trying to bite my butt. I was forever hustling out of reach of your teeth. We worked out pretty good, Shoko. So give Tyebe time to grow up and get the silliness out of her system and you’ll see she’ll be a good sister to you. So you’re saying I was a nincompoop but I grew out of it and Tyebe will too, right? Exactly. Try and relax Shoko, all will work out just fine. When you get feeling blue and alone, remember I walk beside you and will always give you strength.
Thanks, Kali. It makes me feel so relaxed knowing you are with me forever.
Remember when you get down and feeling alone friends there is someone watching over you too. Draw strength from them.
