It is Fly Day again. We don’t seem to have flies. In the summer we get tons of the black whizzes. What do you call a group of flies? We know about a murder of crows but not flies. How about a crisis of flies? mol
I love purple! It’s the colour of the British Columbia Epilepsy Foundation. It’s also the colour for royalty. Us Meezers are definitely royalty.
1. I have never been able to …..SNAP MY CLAWS. Neither can Tyebe or mom. Dad slides his fingers around but doesn’t make a sound.
2. I … WELCOME competition. Especially with Tyebe in Spring.
The whole household will fight with you if you want.
3. I…. GET LIGHT HEADED… when spring has sprung.
4. I would like everyone to know, TYEBE and I were spring kittens. Both of us born in spring. I don’t think that makes us good to eat. We do have a permanent darker colouring due to the sun. Seems this idea could be wishful thinking so Shoko says. I have a ginger colouring on my ears, around my nose and eyes. My tail has flame coloured rings on it. The rings on my tail are the only way to tell a flame point from a white cat at many months older. It is older to catch cats but so harder to get young kits younger.

However a family member by the name of Giulietta, passed over to the bridge a few days back and Coop’s feeling down in the dumps so I flew him up here to be with us for a little while.
Hey Coop, tell us a wee bit about Giulietta. I liked her and would jump on her head to see how she would like a two ton truck on her! mol I kept trying to tell her about the importance of being prepared. She never caught on but just figured I was picking on her. She was a beauty.
I know you hate to see your mom and dad upset but they are strong like you. Snuggle with me Snap and I’ll help by snoring those upsetting thoughts away.
This our selfie for today.
You know Snap, one of us should lose weight and then we’d fit in here better. Tyebe we probably wouldn’t be as close.
Well, mom had to get on this harness kick again. So on the harness went and she called me to come downstairs to the basement. I don’t like to walk while wearing this thing. I know I look like there is a saddle, which is far too heavy for me, straddled to my back. Also I mince on by with tiny steps. Dad laughed when I walked by him. Finally, I made it to the basement. There was a reward waiting for me.
See my race car in the background. Now, seeing as mom gave me a treat each time I walked for the treat. I wouldn’t walk unless I got a treat. It didn’t take mom long to figure this out either. Pretty soon Kali was in the basement with us getting all the attention and treats. Mom was so happy Kali was getting exercise for her hip. Well, mom ran out of treats and Kali and mom went upstairs while I minced along much more slowly.
While they were waiting for moi, Kali posed for a picture in my toque.
As Kali posed I slowly made my way up the stairs where mom removed the harness. I proceeded to do my own posing with Kali and mom.
After we had a rest from our frolicking in the basement Mom decided to have a peek at Elfin John who has been busy fishing in the kitchen sink. Heck he caught 2 spoons and a small fork. He told mom he was ready to go back in the nightie drawer till later in the year. So Kali helped him into the drawer.
Kali tucked him in for a long nap and we all got a little sad.
I brought Kali into the living room where we discovered our friend had sent us some goodies. Kali was overcome by the feathers as I was and soon Elfin John was forgotten.
Trust mom to snap the picture when we looked away from the feathers. Really mom, get with it.
