Fridays…Fancy Fill-Ins from Us

Mew, mew…Kali, what are you doing in my Pillow Tent?

Go away Shoko, I’m sleeping!

Naha! This is my space and you didn’t even mew at me….you just got nice and comfy.

Alright, geez, bet she doesn’t even want to be in there just can’t stand me being peaceful.

Much better now let’s get busy with the Friday Fill-Ins co-hosted by Ellen of 15 and Meowing and Annie of Mcguffy”s Reader.                                                                                                       I will take the first 2 sentences while Kali will look after the last 2 sentences.

1. I would like to ask….KALI….. why …..SHE PAWS AT THE WATER IN THE FOUNTAIN AND GETS THE FLOOR SOAKING?

NO PICTURE…mom’s usually too busy cleaning up the water.

2 My favorite fast food restaurant is…..”MOM’S DINER “….. AT TREAT TIME.                                                      My turn, fuzz face.  I’m ticked at you Shoks.  There was no need to kick me out of the Pillow Tent.  Anywho….
3. If I could go to any concert of someone still performing, it would be …..THE JINGLE CATS.  THEY ARE AWESOME!

4. My Winter pastime is usually…..NAPPING, because …..IT’S COLD AND I REALLY FEEL THE COLD.

There you have it, our fill-ins for the week.

•Tweedledum and Tweedledee Land In London

SHOKO…..BLACK
KALI…..ORANGE

Mom and dad flew into London on rails and walked 87 miles from the Eurostar into St. Pancras Station.  Then out the other side to the main exit.  Dad rushed on ahead of mom…cause she was walking like she was dragging a moose behind her.  Mom finally made it to the exit and guess who greeted her?  It was Princess Leah, and her mom and dad.  Our dad was there too.                                                              How exciting Shoko.  They all went for tea in  St. Pancras Station. I think mom was stunned as she didn’t seem to take many pictures.                                                                      Here is Princess Leah’s mom, Julie and her dad, Mike.  Her Royal Highness is trying to get at the Canada Goose Shoko and I stuck in mom’s suitcase for Leah.  Mom said she enjoyed a relaxing cuppa with Leah and her parents.  She could have stayed and enjoyed their company for several more hours but it was time to get to the hotel. Take a look at Princess Leah’s Blog and see more pictures of our meeting.

Now St. Pancras Station is an old castle like building.  It is beautiful beyond compare.  Any repairs to the old structure are kept in the same style.                                                    Mom and dad caught a taxi to their hotel…The TavistockIt wasn’t far but these two decided they didn’t need to struggle down the sidewalk with their suitcases.                                                            Our travellers woke in Normandy and now they were in London.  To say they were tired was an understatement.

The next day found mom and dad deciding to walk about their area around the Tavistock Hotel.                                                                               Mom and dad liked the quaint shops along the street.                                                                The Post Box was so shiny and new looking.  Where the ones in Prince George look like they had a fight with a woofie and lost.                                                                          MOL….mom is in her glory looking for different spices and concoctions than in Canada.

The next place to find was Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.  A bit of a challenge for our wanderers.

I won’t show you all the areas they wandered in and out but  Chinatown and Coventry Gardens were two of the districts.

They found Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium just as dad was starting to say they had come the wrong way while he was pushing mom on her walker.  They both were so excited they forgot to take a picture.

Inside was a small cat heaven. There were cats sleeping…of course.  Cats watching the pigeons and greeter cats showing us around.                                                                       Shoko would be crazy over these stairs….dropping on me from above.                                                                                Look at these caves for the cats.  They look like they’re in the wild forests of Africa.  What a hoot.

The birds outside caught these kitties attention while we sat and had High Tea.

A most satisfying visit to their first cat café.

Next installment…visiting Harrods Department Store.

A Meander Through Fall’s Picture

Let’s take a stroll through the Lane.  Our neighbours worked and got rid of some trees earlier during the summer.  There was a loud racquet for days coming from this backyard.  This is what they added.                                                           A wire fence or a section of it.  Looks like some peeps are ready to play hockey out here.  These folk had a B & E early last year and this is their protection now,  a new fence where everybody can walk around it.

The lane dressed for fall in orange and yellow with a tad of green.                                                                                   These trees are tired of the orange and yellow and are darned near nekked already!

I’m coming mom.  Slow down I gotta read the newspaper and find out who’s been here.                                                                                 Can you find me?Spot the Siamese!  MOL  Pretty good hiding place, eh?  I still can’t catch a mouse though….I’ve tried everything…cwap!                                                                 Ahhhh….feels good to lay down.

Kali is doing her best impression of Robert De Niro in Taxidriver, “You lookin’ at ME?”

Here is a slightly blurry picture of Cow-Kitty looking proud as punch.                                                                               Yep, you’re right, this is a pile of dirt on Showkali Island.  Cow-Kitty was sleeping in here when mom got up this morning so she took him a bowl of Purrfect Bistro Duck Pate.  He proceeded to gobble it up and then he buried his bowl.  Mom had never seen this before have you?
