Strollin’ Through The Hood Before Fall

KALI…..ORANGE
SHOKO…..BLACK

A beautiful day although fall is quickly closing in.

A ride in the stroller, you say…OK…let’s go.
Sup, mom?  I don’t know if I want a stroll or not….maybe, any foooood…what are you doing?  Well, if you put it that way I’ll go for a stroll with you and Kali.                                                         I wanted a better view so was headed to the front of the stroller.  Out of the blue, Kali growled at me….just cause I was standing on her back……♪ I ain’t heavy I’m your sisteh.♪  She made it up to a hisss by the time I stood dancing on her shoulder.  My Cod Kali, you have fish breath!  Yuck!  Alright, alright, I’ll sit down.  Geesh!

We headed down the sidewalk and to Gateway Seniors Facility where mom had a chat with one of the residents.  My Cod, mom can talk.  We sat twiddling our paws while she gassed about what’s happening in the facility.  Six hours later we left for Total Pet.                                             No, we have no idea who this dude is but he ruined mom’s picture.

Kali begged mom for this Beauty dry food but mom was adament….just the Hypoallergenic Soy….no Beauty Food. Kali then turned her back on mom.  Until mom went up to the cashier.  The cashier gave mom a treat bag for us.                                                 Mom opened the bag and gave a piece of Freeze Dried Chicky Liver to Kali and I…we immediately started to gobble them and then we spit them out in unison.  They were ghastly!  Ewww…..They must be 87 years old.  The treats they gave us last year were disgusting too.  Don’t ever buy our treats here.

Then we headed for home.                                   We were gone for 2 hours and did we ever have to use the kitty litter.

Have a great Tuesday, my friends.

•Tweedledum and Tweedledee Land In London

SHOKO…..BLACK
KALI…..ORANGE

Mom and dad flew into London on rails and walked 87 miles from the Eurostar into St. Pancras Station.  Then out the other side to the main exit.  Dad rushed on ahead of mom…cause she was walking like she was dragging a moose behind her.  Mom finally made it to the exit and guess who greeted her?  It was Princess Leah, and her mom and dad.  Our dad was there too.                                                              How exciting Shoko.  They all went for tea in  St. Pancras Station. I think mom was stunned as she didn’t seem to take many pictures.                                                                      Here is Princess Leah’s mom, Julie and her dad, Mike.  Her Royal Highness is trying to get at the Canada Goose Shoko and I stuck in mom’s suitcase for Leah.  Mom said she enjoyed a relaxing cuppa with Leah and her parents.  She could have stayed and enjoyed their company for several more hours but it was time to get to the hotel. Take a look at Princess Leah’s Blog and see more pictures of our meeting.

Now St. Pancras Station is an old castle like building.  It is beautiful beyond compare.  Any repairs to the old structure are kept in the same style.                                                    Mom and dad caught a taxi to their hotel…The TavistockIt wasn’t far but these two decided they didn’t need to struggle down the sidewalk with their suitcases.                                                            Our travellers woke in Normandy and now they were in London.  To say they were tired was an understatement.

The next day found mom and dad deciding to walk about their area around the Tavistock Hotel.                                                                               Mom and dad liked the quaint shops along the street.                                                                The Post Box was so shiny and new looking.  Where the ones in Prince George look like they had a fight with a woofie and lost.                                                                          MOL….mom is in her glory looking for different spices and concoctions than in Canada.

The next place to find was Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.  A bit of a challenge for our wanderers.

I won’t show you all the areas they wandered in and out but  Chinatown and Coventry Gardens were two of the districts.

They found Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium just as dad was starting to say they had come the wrong way while he was pushing mom on her walker.  They both were so excited they forgot to take a picture.

Inside was a small cat heaven. There were cats sleeping…of course.  Cats watching the pigeons and greeter cats showing us around.                                                                       Shoko would be crazy over these stairs….dropping on me from above.                                                                                Look at these caves for the cats.  They look like they’re in the wild forests of Africa.  What a hoot.

The birds outside caught these kitties attention while we sat and had High Tea.

A most satisfying visit to their first cat café.

Next installment…visiting Harrods Department Store.
