Geez, I miss that white tornado. Didn’t think I would, she talks non stop and is ready to play at the drop of a paw. Taking in the sun and laying back is getting old very quickly. SHO…..BLACK SQUISH…..MAGENTA
Squish the Siamese elephant, wandered by and Sho confided how much she missed Tye. Squish, a very understanding elephant, had an idea. “Go see Tye and perhaps you’d be happier over there and want to stay.” What a fantabulous idea. Tye will be happy to see me. “Thanks Squish.”
“No problem Sho. You need to be with Tye. I feel her and XE are having hard times over there and she’s never been parted from you before. Tye borrowed a phone from a cool lady at the Internment Camp not the ICY lady and called me to let me know she was forced to eat rotten vegetables in the Internment Camp. The paperwork for their release was being worked on as we spoke. Tye said XE arrived to help but was panicking cause now that she was here she didn’t know the way to Tennis-See other than walking through Texas. So, Tye wanted me to follow the highway near Houston and look for them walking home. Seems vague, Squish.
Tye used to play with Omar’s kids and she said they were little terrors that would give crappy old toys for any candy. They learned this behaviour somewhere and she says the nuts don’t fall far from the tree so I’ll be on the look out for Omar the Siamese Shiftless Carpetbagger tricks. Tye is always on my mind…I must hurry and be with her and Xe.“Let’s go, Squish, and see what we can find in the Magic Carpets around here.” Sho brought out the ladder and climbed up on Squish’s back and they headed for the village. Squish had a sensitive back since Tye had done the Siamese dance for rain on her back.
They hit 2 flying carpet outlets and were disappointed in the quality of the carpet threads. Then they hit Omar’s Emporium. Omar’s had revved up carpets but they wrinkled up during flight so it was uncomfortable sitting. The wrinkles also made steering a hazard. No seat belts and the threads were not water proof. They were inexpensive but dang nab it, they looked cheap and wobbly.
Next stop Aladdin’s Magic Carpets. A huge Genie welcomed me inside. I told him I wanted a thick, sturdy Magic Carpet with all the safety precautions. No souped up piece of crap as I was flying to America to see friends and the object was to arrive in one piece. Gene, the Genie, found the most superb carpet. Luxurious seat belts, with a relaxing cruising speed and the “paw to the fiber count” of 300 MPH. An instant sale.
Sho put the ladder up to Squish’s back and leaped on. “Sorry Squish. I was so happy about our new Magic Carpet I forgot to suck in my claws.” Sho said apologetically.
Sho thought of hot and tired Xe and Tye pawing their way across Texas to Xe’s home in Tennis… See. Stupid name for a state as it brought up visions of everyone playing tennis in short skirts and funny hats. Sho reprimanded herself for being judgemental…..this was the time to accept whatever cultural habits that the States has. Tye would be delighted Sho was going to be headed over to the States. Sho had to pack up Canada and have Squish water the plants everyday. Sho would let Squish know what was happening. Now, up and away and hope Tye and Xe find their way safe and easy.
TO BE CONT’D..Join Sho as she continues her adventures to cross the Atlantic and get to Tennis….See.
Tyebe, leave Geraldine alone. You keep pickin’ on her and she won’t come when you call her. I hate to leave her Shoks, she’s so active.
Budd whatcha doing? This here paper is trying to get away and I need to sit on it.
There must be something making the paper move.I’ll check Budd. You try to catch me.
I got it Tyebe!! That’s me Budd. You’re too heavy on my paw….get off bro!
I don’t see a thing under there Budd. It must have run off when it saw me climbing under the paper.
MOL…keep trying, you’ll see him. Are you making fun of us Shoks? Well, kinda. There’s nothing there. When Budd jumped on the paper, the paper moved and he thought someone moved him but….NO,…..he moved himself.
We’re going to join in on Comedy Plus and their Happy Tuesday. Click on the badge and we’ll go over and visit with you.
TYEBE…..ROYAL BLUE BUDD……GRANITE GREEN SHOKO…..Midnight BLACK
I thought they’d never leave. This paper feels so good and loud. MOL
Now for my Meezerism for the week.
“When you feel upset with life put on a happy face and trip your sister/brother so they fall down. It feels so good. Betcha get a laugh out of it. MOL
It’s Sunday Selfie day and today Budd has offered to pose and shoot. Flit over to The Cat On My Head blog and view the furries and not so furries selfies.
Mom, you don’t use me anymore.Shoks you are either sleeping or have your nose out of joint by something Budd or Tyebe did. They are pests…actually Tyebe borders on just plain stupid. What she thinks is funny just is not a bit amusing. Like jumping on my head when I’m sound asleep and then yelling, “landslide.”
Ok, I’ll try to snap that button…..I cant reach….*click*…..dang, way too soon. “Kittens a go-go,
I look like crap.”
I’m way too close. Let’s try this again.
Let see if I put my paw here…*click* No, no not now….quit it camera.
Much better. See how handsome I look in this picture.
Shoko is refusing to impart her philosophy with anyone. She is in a snit. So we’ll join her when she comes down from her high horse. She’s texting Einstein about her problem.
Shoko and I’s had lotsa fun at Cat Scouts and me’s a Kit Scout now. When I get my uniform I’ll show everyone.
Today was a relaxing day around Fort Meezer. Me’s tore a strip off our Halloween black cat.He hissed and yowled at me but me’s kept biting his leg.
Then the mail lady came to the door. Me’s ran to the front door.Me’s tried to avoid mom as she went to pick me’s up so I wouldn’t run out the door but she finally caught me so all I’s could do was grin at the mail lady.
We got a parcel from New Zealand. Mom won a prize from Dash Kitten a few weeks back, I,s helped mom open it.
Me’s was in there like a dirty paw leaving me’s mark all over. What great giftees we got.
We hit the mother lode! The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa is a most fascinating book and will be read to the whole family at Story Time. Make Your Cat an Internet Star is the booklet. I’m not sure if I’s want to be a star maybe Budd wants to be a star although he’s delighted when he gets foods and treats, All the other goodies you can see.
Thank you so much, Marjorie of Dash Kitten.Com.
Me’s getting hungry for din din so I shall say See Ya. Till next time my friends.
We are participating in Happy Tuesday at Comedy Plus Click the badge to join the hop.
Bye, mom…why are we waving a paw at mom? Where’s she going? She’s going to cash in her birthday gift certificates and have a pedicure and manicure. I envy her so much, Shoko. This is what I want for my birthday too.
Oh no! What’s wrong, Shoko? This means dad’s looking after us, on his own. So? He doesn’t know how we like things done. We better tell him. We should wait to see what he does himself. He may think we’re bossy if we start telling him what we like.
That’s a great idea, Kali. Here comes brekky, let’s see how he does.
Oh my! Dad, oh dad, I like way less gravy in my food. I want a whole lot more gravy in my food and I don’t like lumps either. Just sayin’ Are you going to eat it, Kali. No way Shoks, it looks ghastly! We should take a few licks though. K, *lick* *lick*…Shoko shakes her paws and walks away.
Yuck! I’ll get a drink of water, that helps to fill me up. Kali stands in her water fountain and then starts pushing water out of the fountain. Dad puts a T-towel under the fountain to catch the water and tells Kali not to play in the water. But mom lets me play in the water.
Hey, dad, I can’t get a drink now. Mom fills the fountain after I play in the water.
This is no good at all. My Princess bed is all lumpy where I was playing groundhog. Mom usually floofs up our beds twice a day without being asked. I thought everyone did that for their kitties. We can go sleep on mom’s bed then, Kali. It’s not lumpy.
You gotta admit dad is good at the game “in and out”. He’s right there when I want out and again when I want in. He looks like he’s getting fed up with the game though so we better find a new game.
Look, dad’s giving us lunch. Mom doesn’t give us lunch. Dad, I like my food out of a freshly opened tin….I get first dibs. No, I don’t like turkey! Kali likes turkey, I like beef. He doesn’t listen, does he? Well, I prefer lotsa gravy in my turkey pate. We told you this morning. I like just a wee bit of gravy in my beef pate. Let’s switch and then we’ll be happy. Done deal, Kali. *Burp* that was tasty and now I could use a nap. When is mom coming home? Don’t know but hope it’s soon. I feel scruffy, I need a good grooming. Dad would never think of it. At least he feeds us, Kali.
Treats for no reason! Mom doesn’t do that. Oh, dear….dad just dumped them in front of me! Dad, it was so nice of you to give us treats but we prefer you gave us one at a time. Then we feel special. I got treats dumped by me too. Oh dear. Time for mom to come home. I think I hear her in the living room.
May your day be warm and the bugs few.
Samantha of Samanthamurdochblog nominated us for the “The Shuffle The Music Tag” and we thank you, Samantha, for thinking of us. Granted she nominated us in August and us lazy ones are just getting around to posting now. Glad Samantha never held her breath waiting for our response.
We are sharing with you our playlist……actually its Kali’s playlist on the computer. I turn the music on when Kali gets uptight with whatever pains she’s currently enduring. Kali is very fond of all of these songs as she becomes mellow and relaxes. Seeing these are her songs, she can guide us through them. Take it away, Kali.
For “The Shuffle The Music Tag” just put whatever device you use to listen to your music on, and press the shuffle button, and write a little something about the first fifteen songs that come up, what they mean to you, their history, whatever takes your fancy. We will be doing 10 songs. Then nominate seven or more people to participate, obviously letting them know.
I use the computer and *I Tunes* so mom shuffled my music.
1/ The first song up isI Guess The Lord Must Be In New York City by Harry Nilsson. This song has relaxing lyrics and the tempo is perfect for drying nail polish on my toes. Granted occasionally I swing my paws over the side of my Princess Bed as the tune is so catchy. All in all a soothing song. Sorry, the sun is blocking my paw but my nails are drying faster. mol
This song is so relaxing that if I get upset, this song has me clapping my paws and mellowing with sleepy eyelids. Mom was saying that these chaps played at many of the spots in England that the Beatles did. Well, I’ll be a bug!
Mew, mew….this song is great when I’m feeling down cause my paws are hurting so I feel very unimportant. The upbeat sounds of this song make it so I can’t be down for long….I want to get up and investigate a drawer and try to find some nip.
This song reminds me of all my woofie friends and their favourite pass time. It would be neat to bury one’s treats and come back later to retrieve them. Unfortunately, I have this thing about dirt. I will not eat anything with dirt all over it. It’s a very icky habit. Shoko eats things she buries but not moi.
This is my very favourite song! I could just float away on the words. I can just picture Moon River as blue as can be without an insect or reptile in it. Just cruising along the river in a paddlewheeler with Buddy holding my paw. *Aha, sigh* I know it’s supposed to be the Mississippi River and that’s so muddy that your shadow will have dirt on it…..forget all that just go with the sweet music and the illusion you get.
There you have it, friends. My playlist and a hot one it is too. I have more songs on it but this will give you an idea of my favourites.
We’re supposed to nominate 7 peeps/kitties forThe Music Tag. I am reluctant because I would like to hear everybody’s idea of good music. Phenny ofEasy Blog...oh Phenny, tell me your playlist, Bacon fromPiglove….bring it on bud. May I say that anyone else that wishes to do the playlist, please let us know so we can admire your songs.
