C’mon mom, let’s go for our walk. It’s not as windy.
This is what’s left of our snow.
Compared to the snow from a little over a month ago.
Um…I’ll be busy for awhile mom. This newspaper is very aromatic and ready for the sniffing.
Juno’s been out here. The nosy little tinkle head. Smudge is still here, good for him. He must’ve got a good vet report and that rash must’ve disappeared. I really must invite him over for some nip and a spot of cool water. Be there in a few minutes mom! Buds are just starting to form on this wee tree. I’ll take a picture in 2 weeks and see how far it’s come along.
I’m headed to the nip Shoks. Be right there, mom.
Look at those juicy sprouts of nip. Some little tinkle head next door has been getting it all dirty. Geez!
It’s also Sunday Selfie time at The Cat On My Head. Jump on over and participate with us or just have a peek at your buddies. Hit the highlighted blog hop’s name and you’re there!
How’s this for a quickie….selfie. I made it while walking. No moss growing under my paws!
I was just sittin’ on the deck. The part without snow. The sun was warm on my side. I spotted some hooligan trying to get at my nip and said a silent curse under my breath. Apparently, mom heard my silent curse so I wasn’t as silent as I thought. She came runnin’ out, slipped and hobbled back into the house. No words, or nothin’! Next, I saw the introoder leaving the nip patch…the nip hasn’t grown enough to raid. mol Get outta here you sucker!
Yep, it was snowing again but not much. I spied a feathered fiend on my steps. He was not completely black and I was at a loss….what is this thing?
It was a snowy day in Siberia…what? We don’t live in Siberia. well you could’ve fooled me. It just keeps snowing. For the love of nip, speaking of which…..where the heck is it. There must be tons of snow on it. It will be well protected from the cold weather.
I snuck out with mom to enjoy the air. We went out onto the deck which was clear. Mom shoveled the stairs and I whipped down them and discovered snow falling on me so went back on the deck with a quick turnabout. I have a snow face!
Mom decided to use my picture for Athena’s Artsy Caturday.
I will take the first two sentences and Kali will attack the last two sentences.
1. I have never been able to….CLIMB A TREE…..I KNOW THAT EVERYONE THINKS IT’S MY CHOICE BUT CLIMBING A TREE SCARES THE CWAP OUTTA ME. I LOVE THIS PICTURE….lOOKING AT THE TREES IS AWESOME……..THE IDEA OF CLIMBING THEM GIVES ME THE SHIVERS.
2. I wish I could still …..SQUEEZE THROUGH THE RAILS ON THE DECK WITHOUT THE RAILS TOUCHING ME. THEN I COULD TAKE A SHORTCUT TO THE NIP.
Take it away sisteh ghostie.
3. SNUGGLING ON MY PURPLE FURRY ON MOM’S BED….. is my ideal winter night. 4. TREATS…..and…..CARRYING OUT MY BEAUTY TREATMENTS MAKE ME HAPPY.
Avast mateys!! Did you know today is “Talk Like A Pirate Day,” No! Are you living under a rock and may I join you? Yo ho ho and a bottle of nip rum. I am a pirate wench…not a wrench, Shoko….a wench. Well, I’m nobody’s wench…not even Einey’s. C’mere me beauty…let’s swab the deck together. Not bloody likely Einey! Let’s go to the Pirate Party at your place, Tomcat Timmy’s Commentary me man. We can celebrate Rumpy’s Gotcha Day too. C’mon mateys lets drop in on the Pawty at Einey’s place.
Oh! Shoko’s going to be upset she missed this one. She loves awards and thinks they’re hers…just hers. Well, this award is for all of us…even mom.
Dezi and Raena from Deziworld gave us this awesome award and we thank you very much for your thoughtfulness.
Isn’t the wreath lovely! Wish I could wear it like my Lei.We started blogging back in the fall of 2014. Shoko had started in Cat Scouts and was having a great time with her new-found buddies. Mom was reading blogs to us one day and she muttered out loud that we could do a blog too. Well, it wasn’t as easy as mom thought but dad helped establish her with the blog Then she was afraid to use it. What if nobody ever came to see her posts? How embarrassing. She threw caution to the wind and actually published a post. Then she wasn’t sure if she should look and see if anyone stopped by. One day she broke down and looked. She was in seventh heaven, three peeps had looked at her post. Woo hoo…the big time! Mom didn’t blog again for three months. She didn’t think she could do as well.
KALI…..ORANGE MOM…..RED VIOLET
The best suggestion I have for beginners is to focus on something you never seem to tire of. If you do this then the posts will never be a chore but fun and part of your personality and also enjoyable for others to read.
The next suggestion I have is to do and say what YOU want to say not what others think you should talk about. It is your blog to do your thing not be another voice for someone else or their cause. Be true to you.
Our final step is to choose 15 bloggers we think deserve this award. Well, there are so many more than 15 bloggers that deserve this award that I will only choose 3 to name and the others are more than welcome to grab the badge and call it their own. You all have worked to develop the blog and then spent many hours honing the skills needed to develop interesting posts. In our eyes, you’re all winners!
1/ samanthamurdochblog…This blog talks about gems and precious stones, cats and she is a storyteller of short stories. The author’s love of gems is obvious as she carries us into the world of rockhounding. Her love of cats is heart warming and comical. Her short stories are amazing. Mom has cried and laughed as she is drawn more and more into the story. Definitely worth visiting this blog.
