Tyebe Tuesday on

We are joining Happy Tuesday at Comedy Plus for Tyebe Tuesday.  Go visit Sandee and click on some very interesting blogs.

What are you two watching?

Oh, the kids are back.

You see that little girl, Shoko and Budd.  She’s racing around like her hairs on fire.  MOL….what a character.  She sure is enjoying recess.

Mom was saying that Canadian schools no longer teach the art of writing.  She was quite upset.  Instead of writing one’s name, they will just print their name.  So much for the sayings about signatures…..”Put your John Hancock here.” Writing is individual to people and the traits writing discloses are an art.  Budd and Tyebe look at each other with a puzzled expression.  Printing can be analyzed too, Shoko.  What’s writing?  We don’t do either so why should we care?  You should care because its something you won’t ever see folks doing once the old-timers,like mom and dad are gone.  We don’t care Shoko….we won’t be here either and neither will you.  It will be history and peeps will read about it just like drawings from cavemen.  I dont think mom would like you comparing her to a caveman.  Kitten Kustard! you can’t tell these yung uns anything.

Budd, look at those kids move.

I’m getting sleepy Budd.  The condo beside mom’s desk is calling me for a relaxing nap.

It’s Meezer Proverbs time with Shoko. So put your thinking caps on.

” A Meezer that works on her beauty all day will never be hungry.”

MOM…..MAROON
SHOKO…BLACK
TYEBE…ROYAL BLUE
BUDD….GIVING GREEN

Tyebe Tuesday

First of all, we must thank Ann of Zoolatry very much for the beautiful and lifelike summer photo of the fur family.  We love the header, Ann.

We were out kicking our paws around in the backyard today. I chased Budd who in turn chased me until I collapsed on the deck.  Budd was laying over further.

Shoko was watching us and shaking her head.  Until we turned around and chased the whiskers off her. mol

She’d gone and rolled in the nip….so she was feeling no pain.

I was pooped after this chase.

       NAP ATTACK!

Here is a picture of Shoko and I at the celebration of Birthdays and Gotcha Days at Cat Scouts. It is Shoko’s 11th Gotcha Day on the 15th.
Don’t we look fetching and beguiling.  Shoko is wearing Phoebe’s Travelling Bikini from 2015. Phobe is now an angel with Kali but she had a wonderful home at 15 and Meowing.
We are also joining up with Comedy Plus for Happy Tuesday.  Click on the picture for Happy Tuesday and visit your friends.  Their site addresses are all printed up for you.
Have a super Tuesday friends.

Wordy Wednesday with Shoko and Tyebe

Hey, mom and dad, I really don’t like it here.  It stinks and not in a good smelly way.

Shokos told me’s to watch out for this peep in white but she seems nice. Still, I’s unsure. She even gave me some wet food…..it didn’t taste very good but I’s didn’t mind the prick on my side cause I was busy sniffing the odd food.

What are you doing? Get away from me’s butt! How rude! Shove that thing up your own butt. Mom will hear how you treated me….I’s a good girl, I am.  Oh, my, mom is here. Shokos will not like you shovin’ something up my butt. She’ll bite you!

I’s don’t like it here. Me’s want to go home Right now and see Shokos. This lady is sorta nice but I’s bet she has no friends. She does have an unfortunate manner. Too bad.

Shokos, Shokos, me’s went and saw the lady in white.  Stop I’s must talk with you’s.

No, not the vet! Yep, I’s had my 2nd round of shots. I’s not going back…EVER. Mom and dad may not agree with your decision, Tyebe. Don’t care I’s will have a tantrum if they make me’s go.

You’ll be fine Tyebe. Relax….the trip is over and you’re home. Me’s so tired now Shokos. That’s natural Tyebe. No, you won’t die, just have a nap and you’ll be fine.

Keep hydrated friends….go fishing in the sink.

Getting To Know Ya and Being Thankful

Mom, Tyeebe is annoying!  So were you when you first came here.  I don’t care for her, can you take her back? You still have the receipt don’t you?  Actually, I never got a receipt Shoko.  You mean she was,  “on sale.”  Like no exchange no returns.  Something like that.  You’ll get used to her, Shoko. Hmmph!  I don’t think so.

SHOKO…..BLACK
MOM…..MAROON
TYEEBE…..ROYAL BLUE                                                        I’m not used to some furry starring at me when I eat. It’s kinda rude.

I’s not rude!  I’s learnin’ from a master.  You seems to know whats you’re doin so I follows you.

There’s an odd smell around you. Quite unpleasant really. NO WAY…I bathes myself often. I was the cleanest of my brothers and sisters.

Well, I hate to tell you this but you still stink.

Oh, it might be the poo I tripped over in the kitty litter. Did you trip over it Tyeebe or jump on it? How did yous know I jumped on it, Shoks?  Cause that’s what I used to do.  The more you walk on it, the more it looks like a pancake.  Really?  I must try it. Maybe I could throws the poo pancakes at you.  We could call the game, “Poos on yous!” mol…”hick” Good idea Tyeebe!  Mom will have cleaned the poos out by now so we can’t play today.

You know you’re going to get a bath when mom smells you.  That involves waters, doesn’t it?  Already I don’t like waters.

Hey it’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Blog today.  You pose for it Tyeebe.  Me Shoks??  Thank yous, big sis.  I’m thankful for being in a happy house with yous, Shoks

Let’s have a nap until mom appears again Tyeebe.

I’s for sleeping anytimes, Shoks.

Fa La La Fabulous Friday Fill-Ins

It’s that fun day when we fill in some words to form sentences.  This idea was the brainchild of Ellen at 15 and Meowing and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.

1.Before you….. STEP OUTSIDE….. you need to…..PUT ON LONG UNDERWEAR, UNDERSHIRT, SNOWSUIT, HEAVY WOOL SOCKS, BOOTS, GLOVES, SCARF, HEAVY COAT, AND TOQUE.   OH YEA, BEST GO TINKLES BEFORE YOU GET DRESSED.

2. After……A WEE NAP, A GAME OF, ‘CATCH THE HUMMER’ IS IN STORE.

Creep closer.

3.Winter…..IS THE TIME TO PLAY.  HOW ABOUT A GAME OF, ‘KICK THE SHEET OUT OF MY BLANKIE.’

First, look nonchalant.

Second. Play kitchy coo under the blankie.

Third  Attack!!

4. Spring…..IS THE SEASON OF NEW GROWTH.

Up front, to the right are 2 Chervil herb plants.  This herb is also called French Parsley.  It’s commonly used to season mild-flavored dishes and is a constituent of the French herb mixture fines herbes.

Up front, to the left is Hamburg Parsley.  It has parsnip-flavored roots and edible parsley-flavored leaves.  This herb intrigued me and mom.

At the back are Poached Egg plants.  They look like poached eggs and apparently have a lovely aroma.  Oh ‘mother of mouses’, I hope they don’t smell like old eggs!

Have a fun Friday.

Now, For Something a Little More Familiar

KALI…..ORANGE
NELLIE…..GREEN
SHOKO…..BLACK

Mom and dad checked the hotel room  a few times to make sure they didn’t leave anything behind.  Then it was off to Heathrow Airport.  Peeps had told mom it was a very hard airport to get through as it was huge.  It was very large but staff at the airport helped mom, so going through security was much easier.  They were even early for the plane so looked at various shops.                                                               Heathrow is very large with much walking.

The plane ride to Vancouver was very similar to the plane ride to Paris.  So I won’t bore you  with details.  When mom saw the sands of the beach near UBC (University of British Columbia), she got very excited.                                                                          We are sorry about the poor quality of the photo but the plane wasn’t all that close to the beach. MOL

Upon landing at Vancouver Airport,  dad was grabbing the luggage off the carousel when mom came moseying along to remind dad what our luggage looked like.  Talk about giving the, “evil eye!”  Dad ‘s look could have stopped a Canada Goose  in mid honk!

When mom and dad got into their motel room, mom called Barb co-author of, “Nellie, On The Edge.”  Barb was not far away and came over to the motel room.                                                                            They chatted and laughed and then figured it was time to go see a special lady and have supper.  Off they went to Barb’s new townhouse.  Mom loved the townhouse  except for the many stairs but Barb said all this walking is paying off.  She had become  a few pounds lighter.  When they got to the livingroom…..there was Nellie, just hangin’ out.

Can you hear Nellie saying….”It’s Shoko and Kali’s mom and dad…so where is mes protégé, the little devil?”

You left her at home!  Mes will just have to go visit her then.                                                                        Me’s ready for a nap now.

At this point Barb told mom and dad she made a pot roast with all the trimmings for dinner.  They all charged into the kitchen.  Although mom and dad were not very hungry as it was 3am in London.  If mom is going to have beef, she wants pot roast….this is her favourite beef meal.  What a scrumptious meal.  Sorry no pictures.   If we were home, mom would have asked for a kitty bag. MOL

Time to return to the motel.  Nellie was getting ready for a snooze so mom and dad were quiet and let Nellie snuggle down.                                                                          These are the last pictures of Nellie.  It was her time to leave for the Rainbow Bridge.  We were so fortunate to  know this lovely Queen.

Mom and dad left for Prince George the next morning.  I was delighted to see mom and wouldn’t leave her alone all night.  I whacked her on the head when she fell asleep.  I wanted loves.  Kali wouldn’t look at mom but chattered away to dad.  Three days later Kali decided mom was ok after all.

We hope you enjoyed mom and dad’s jaunt to the old country.  They brought back a virus with them and were laid up for three weeks after arriving home but they’re fine now.

Thank you to all the wonderful bloggers mom and dad visited.  You are all beautiful and creative peeps.

What Shall We Do Wednesday?

How did you like our stroll down the street Kali?  It was ok….not very warm though.  If you hadn’t been resting your head on my butt and had your paws over my legs, I would have felt a chill.  You sound like an old lady Kali.  I do not!  You asked how I liked the stroll, for hairy nip’s sake.  Who’s Hairy Nip?  Is he someone I know?  I want to meet him, Kali.  Oh fur..sistehs!!                                                                        aask1Wipe your paws, Shoko!  You weren’t brought up in a Cattery.  You sound ticked sis….what’s ahappen-ning widt youse…big girl?  I’m bored stiff Shoko.  I know what you mean Kali.  We have to get involved in something indoors…..it’s no fun out here.                                                                aakalicloseI guess you’re right Shoko.  Really, it is up to us to entertain ourselves.  Mom can’t play all the time she has to clean our bedding, feed us, get treats,  buy us fun toys and then dad’s going to want the same, so I guess she is pretty busy.

I’m going to look for my *Paw a Treat* toy.  Found it.

aaaPretty well cleaned the *Paw a Treat* out….I’m good!

This doorknob is filthy dirty, I’ll clean it for mom…lickity, lick, lick.  Now for a nap,,,,coming Shoko?                                                          aakcleaningWhoa Kali that knob really shines.  I can see your face in it sis.  My tongue’s rather tired now.                                                                           dscn0335Let’s have a well deserved nap Kali.  We can dream of the warm summer winds.
