Happy Tyebe Tuesday

MOL….Here we go….  Mom let loose this white mice, see, and  I’m thinkin’ this is probably a relative of Gus.  Gus had certain moves that he repeated.  This was his tell.

I can get ready and be prepared for him or have a lousy day thinking a white mouse beat me.

Have we got a Gus or a Geraldine there Budd?    I’ll lo…., oh, Gus seems to be a Geraldine.   There we go another female in the house.  Be beware boys we’re growing in population. mol

W What was  that?  Holy frog butt!!  Look at Geraldine run!!  Get her, Tyebe!

Today is a very cool day so we’re not going out.. Think we’ll harass Geraldine some more at the Meezer Bowl.

Sparks of Happiness

Hey Tyebe, what’s this supposed to be?  Budd, it’s mice in cheese.   It don’t look like no cheese I’ve ever seen.  You have to use your imagination, Budd.

The mice are comin’ out of the cheese but don’t get your face too close or the mice will poke you in the eye.  Mean little boogers, aren’t they?  Mol *hic*  The mice keep us on our claws so we pay attention to our game.  I’d rather have real mice and cheese.

What’re you two scallywags doing?

Tyebe’s teaching me the joys of plastic cheese and mean mice.  She says I can’t eat the cheese and the mice will peck my eye out if I get too close.  Really Tyebe, this is not fun!

You wanna play with me’s pepper, Budd?

Whacha do with a pepper, Tyebe? I’s play with it, throw it in the air and catch it.  Does it taste good? Tastes like my spit. Ohhhh…you can have it then.

Let’s think positive Budd.  It’s a Sparks Monday today and we all need a boost to start the week.  Annie of McGuffy’s Reader started Sparks and even though she is taking a break right now, we decided to light a candle and show some people the way into a fine Monday.

There you are….happiness. A great way to light up the day.

Thankful Thursday

Hurry up mom, we have to play before it’s Story Time.  I think Cow Kitty’s Cheese with Mice would be fun.

This basket on your desk is in a great place. I can watch you and everyone else that comes into my area.

I haven’t played with the Cheese and Mice for years. I wonder if I still know how?

Look at those mice go.  Son of a mouse eater!

They’re hiding.

MOL…here they come again.!

Today is Brian’s Thankful Thursday so I am very thankful mom plays with me and does most of the things I want to do. For this alone, I am a thankful Shoko.

Click on Brian’s Thankful Thursday and join in the hop. You know what they say…”Ye who hops like a bunny will find an easter egg in their bed!”

Have a super thankful day my friends.

Sunday Selfie with Shoko

MOL, into the basement we went….just to be alone.  I knew it was selfie Sunday and I had a quick bath before we went downstairs.

This is where I bring the live mice I catch. Here we play until I get hungry.

C’mon mom, hurry up….I think I hear someone in the basement.

It’s ok….it’s just the heat coming on.
Egads, someone is a real lead foot in the house.  It must be dad, Kali was sleeping when we left.

Every Day Just A Little Different

I had a marvelous day yesterday at Cat Scouts.  Sammy of the Worldwide Wildcat Troop put on a Greenhouse warming party and we all brought our nip plants.  Well, I had a riot chasing some mice out back with a few of my pals.  Needless to say I overindulged in the nip and mom informed me I sounded weird so we should go home.

Greenhouse Warming

Once home I did what every cat that was “nipped” out would do…….I slept.

Today I was chompin’ at the bit to get out in the sunshine.  So dad let me out.  That was early this morning.  Mom called and called me but I never showed up and I usually come to her by the second calling.   By 2pm, mom was fussin’ and fumin’ as to where I was…..so dad, wanting to put mom’s mind at rest,  MOL….came lookin’ for me.  I was found fast asleep under one of the neighbour’s 87,000 old cars.  Dad took me home and told mom where he found me.  Mom kept me inside but I was tired and didn’t want to go gallivanting about. I crawled up to my condo and continued my pleasant dream.

Kali had her own objectives for the day.  Rising at 10am, she went tripping sleepily out to the deck.

Kali hasn’t been feeling so great lately and so mom decided to give her some Barley Cat…this aids with digestion.   Kali came back in for her beef Fancy Feast.  Mom thought she was being real sneaky by putting the Barley Cat into the Fancy Feast.  Kali looked at the Fancy Feast, looked at mom, shook her front paws and walked away to lay down in her basket.  Not the reaction mom wanted at all.  Mom waited for an hour and then took a teaspoon of food to Kali in her basket.  Kali proceeded to gobble the food down as if she hadn’t been fed for days.  Mom tried this again with the same results.  Mom got the bowl of food and gave it to her and Kali got up and finished the bowl of food.

Me? Spoiled?

Me? Spoiled?

Now, mom is just shaking her head wondering about us.  Why am I found sound asleep under an old car when I have so many comfy places to sleep right here?  What is Kali trying to prove by declining her food and then eating the same food  when it is spoon fed to her?  Every day different.
