Today’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home and we are all thankful for something different this week.
Click on Brian’s Home badge and see your buddies being thankful.
Tyebe what are you thankful for this week. Well, Budd, I’m thankful for the new mirror mom got. It kept me busy for quite a while. There was a cat that looked just like me in there. I kept looking behind the mirror but this kitty was very thin.
See that kitty? She looks just like me.
Look Budd…there’s a dude that looks like you in the mirror too,
Smile at him Budd. Maybe he’ll smile back. mol *hic* He did, he smiled back. He’s very thin though Budd. We don’t want to see you that thin…ever!
What about you Shokos, what are you thankful for?
I’m thankful you and Budd are so fascinated by the mirror and aren’t thinking about jumping on me.
Budd, what are you most thankful for my bunkie.
Mom bought me a name tag for my collar. I’m so thankful she has made me one of the family and given me a name tag to prove it.
What are you thankful for today my friends?
TYEBE…..ROYAL BLUE BUDD…..SEAWEED GREEN
Dad gave me a manicure and pedicure yesterday and I painted my nails for my birthday. I look so glamorous! Wait till Buddy Budd sees me…he’ll flip. I love these and with my crown I’ll be the belle of my birthday party. This colour is called Panther Pink.
Shoko is mom making anything special? I think so…she’s making fishcakes…with lots of fish and hardly any potatoes. So it should be fish hash in minutes. She found some salmon and is making salmon puffs too. I never heard of those but they look yummy. MOL Mom put my bobble crown on me but I was not amused! It felt strange on my wee ears.
Don’t look at me, my crown’s crooked!
This picture is the best mom could get of me.
Shoko went out to try and find some fresh nip but there is nothing in the garden. No nip is up yet.
Oh mom!! You shouldn’t have….thank you so much. My favourite! Look Shoko, it’s Greek Oregano! Ompa!!
Another surprise!Oh my…look Shoko, Einey and Buddy from Timmy’s Commentary. My buddy! ‘sigh’ What are you looking for Buddy Budd. Some oregano….I can smell it. I have a bunch over here…come my man.
What a fun day. Hope you had fun visiting. Kali is asleep with her head beside Buddy’s. shhh…let them sleep
We have a beautiful picture for Artsy Fartsy Caturday. Ohl Kali did you want to do an artsy photo? No way…I spent all day filing and repainting my nails with mom’s help and I want them to set and dry. These colours would be perfect for Christmas.Well, let’s get back to the purpose of the post. ME! For Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty, mom zoomed in on my picture, making me look like a politician….no not a politician, they seem to be getting frowns from most peeps these days. Shall I be so daring as to say the Statue of Shoko. MOL
Then she chose VanGogh out of Lunapics art effects.
This my friends is blue on me. I think its my colour…it matches my eyes.
Mom and I went for a good walk today. Well, she walked, I rode. The things I saw my friends. They’d curl Kali’s fur and she’d be a LaPerm cat….MOL…I’m so funny! MOL! *sigh* What? OK, I’ll get on with the story, mom. It was unbelievable! Pure craziness. Peeps were all over….making lotsa noise too. Cars were whizzing by and I was scared at first. I crept to the back of the basket…near mom. There were so many strange noises. Dogs were barking, usually I couldn’t see them but I saw three of the big boogers. Kali would have saucer eyes!. MOL
Two of the big dogs I saw were Bulldogs, mom said. I wouldn’t want them living near me. They are super loud. I pulled back in the basket but had my eyes on them till they were outta sight.
We went by one house that had a lovely tree getting new growth on it and MOL, these peeps had tied plastic apples on the tree. It was cool. I guess it’s an apple tree or a plastic apple tree. MOL
How artsy….a fine creation from peeps that have seen their fill of wintry landscapes.
Mom said we both had done very well and we should head home.
Mom was talking with our neighbour on our way home and he realized I was sitting in the stroller, so he asked about me and mom explained we went for a roll and stroll. He has two cats and was enthralled with the stroller. He said the pet stroller was, “Cutting edge” and I had to agree with him, at least for Prince George it was very *cutting edge*. I yelled at mom to hurry up and we were on the move again.
Kali met us at the door and was delighted to see us, mewing up a storm. I told her all about the sights we saw and she licked my head. Aww….sis…I had a good time. I’m sure tired though.
S’cuse my friends I must have a well deserved nap. Can you imagine the dreams I’ll have? MOL
