Mom and dad came home the other day. Mom hollered in a croaky way for Kali and I. Kali answered right away as she was in the livingroom practicing poses for her book on relaxation . I was cloistered in the bedroom looking for hidden cameras….to see if mom and dad had eyes on us even when they were away. Sammy from One Spoiled Cat had alerted me to watch out for these cameras so I was tossing the room. The search was going well until I noticed this light on the TV….it stayed on and was green. Oh no…they’re peeping at us during their holiday. I promptly came into the livingroom and mewed like mad at mom….cause I WAS mad. Mom thought I was just happy to see her. She gave me a big hug and I smelled a foreign cat on her t-shirt. I must interrogate her about this betrayal but now wasn’t the time.
Mom dragged herself into the bedroom. She was hacking, sneezing and her nose was gushing…ewww. She came home a mess! My biohazard of a mother changed into night wear, flopped down on the bed and went to sleep.
Wonder why the green light on the TV? Next installment I’ll let you know my friends.
Finally its Friday. This means mom won’t be running out everyday to get stuff. Today she had to get her eyebrows and mouse-stash waxed. She looks normal again…female even.
Kali has had a rough time cause she has been very sick to her stomach. She had to go to the vets this week and she was not happy about it. Unfortunately her food allergy is back.
Kali says the only saving grace of the whole visit was the lovin’ her favourite receptionist Joan laid on her. When Kali got home she was feeling down. This new development meant no more Siamese dry cat food and the Fancy Feast wet will be reduced. Instead we will get more of the Hypoallergenic Soy HP dry. The HP is OK but by no means is it tasty. Our goal is to keep food on Kali’s tummy and slow down her bowels. So I’m willing to do my part for the ole girl.
Kali headed outside to sit under her swinging bench. Unfortunately the cow-kitten decided to visit Kali right then. He scared Kali and she took off after the cow-kitten just a hissin’ and spitin’ her head off. The cow-kitten got very scared and ran like mad through the hole in the fence.
A little while later the cow-kitten was back and following me around. Kali had headed inside for a well deserved nap as she was up a lot during the night as mom was too.
