We left from Banff, Alberta on board The Royal Hudson steam engine, driven train.
ALL ABOARD!
Some celebrities boarded the train also.
Si and Am from, “The Lady and the Tramp.” boarded in cognito but I recognized them. Quickly followed by Sylvester, Felix and Garfield.
This was a special luxury train, so there were additions to the regular cars. Such as a Spa Car. Si and Am indulged in a mani/pedi.
In the Observation Car Sylvester and I had a wee chat.
So, was Sylvester Stallone named after you?
Later, Sylvester tickled the ivories for his fans. While Garfield and Felix were exploring the train.
The train stopped at a few villages and towns, like Craigellachie. Craigellachie is most famous because the last spike was driven into the Canadian Pacific Railway track right at this location in 1885.
The wildlife was abundant. My favourite sight was this bear catching a salmon. Wish the rodents in the backyard would jump into my mouth. hehe
There was some fuss by Si and Am over some jewels, they thought had been stolen from them.
Pretty snazzy looking jewels to me. Sapphires, I think that’s what they are. However, with the help of some dedicated Cat Scouts , they were found. Much to the delight of Si and Am(ahem). Well perhaps delight is too strong a word.
We all arrived at the roundhouse in North Vancouver. It was a fun trip with all my Cat Scout friends and a few celebs to liven up the trip.
