It’s Caturday and time for Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty to have her Artsy Caturday. Click on the blog hop name in blue and go see your friends that must pose for their pawents weird tastes. Dad has Athena’s blog name in silver on his screen. So go to the coloured name…MOL
I’ll take this artsy fartsy day Kali. You don’t look so good today. I have a tummy ache Shoks. Think I ate too much of the snack mom gave me. It was good so I ate all of it. Sorry, I ate yours too. Well cwap Kali! You deserve to have a tummy ache. I never even saw the treat. I can sneak pretty fast…mol…owww. Think I’ll stay here for a while though Shoks. K Kali. You’ve made yourself a little nest. It’s very comfy too. You look prepared for the sun Shoks. Too bad there’s no sun today. There will be.
Here I am artsied up thanks to Fun Photo Box. MOL….It is unique mom. Thank you for the straw sun hat Ellen….just what I needed to avoid the ditzy bug.
Someone dropped over to see us today. We haven’t seen much of him since he’s found the, *The Joys of Hunting* and has been practicing over at the falling down house. Gee, Cow Kitty doesn’t look like he’s been suffering any in the past few months. The catnip has dropped many seeds and this is what Cow Kitty is laying on. I feel much better mom…anymore of those tasty treats? What do you mean? I don’t make a pig of myself! I’m dainty and delicate. Ya, right! Delicate and dainty as a moose. MOL
Hey, this is where they filmed the scene as Harry Potter goes through the pillar at Platform 9 3/4 to catch the Hogwarts Express.
For those of you not familiar with Harry Potter please click on his name and you’ll get a brief history of him.
The train arrived at just the right time. It is a shiny one. We like shiny things.
Arriving 3 hours later at Norgate. A lovely town with hardly a car on the roads…they sure weren’t in London anymore. Who offered them a ride but Bionic Basil’s PA and dad. Cathrine and Josh took us to view a beautiful old church called Southwell Minister. Bionic Basil’s post of Shoko and my meeting was reblogged on The Canadian Cats.
Mom will always thank Cathrine and Josh for the Yorkshire Gold tea they found for mom.
Before they knew it, the time came for mom and dad to get back on the train.
One last look at Basil’s backyard where he and the horde play their war games.
Mom and dad were off to London on the train.
They had one place to go in the evening and it was to the theatre to see The Mousetrap. No mice were injured in the play. This play has been running since the 1950’s. They changed theatre’s in the 70’s, moving to St. Martin’s Theatre. The cast has changed but the play keeps going. Mom and dad were mesmerized by the actors and thoroughly enjoyed the play. This was mom and dad’s last night in London. Tomorrow they fly to Vancouver, British Columbia for another fun visit.
Have a fun Caturday
It’s Mother’s Day and also Selfie Sunday blog hop with our host The Cat on My Head. You want me to do a selfie now….LIKE RIGHT NOW! Do you see, I climbed the arbor even with my out of shape bod. MOL I climbed up the lattice like steps.
Kali and I got mom some lovely flowers for Mother’s Day. Dad picked them up for us. We sold some of our furs on ebay. There was a big demand for Kali’s fur but not mine. I was hurt. Nobody seemed to want my two toned fur. Turns out Kali did very well and paid for most of the flowers herself. She even has lots of fur left.
Everyone take a gander at your friends posing for their selfies. Simply click on The Cat On My Head and you will be swept to their house.
Shoko, come on over here. Leave the digging for now.
Coming Kali…this must be important, Kali never calls me to come and sit with her. Ok I’m here, what’s the big deal.
Nellie from Nellie on the Edge and her mom, Barb, painted a picture of me and I got it today. It was even addressed to me. Aren’t I beautiful?
Nellie’s mom has captured the shape and sea blue of my eyes perfectly. You’re right it looks just like you, Kali. I must admit Nellie’s mom did an excellent job of capturing a Kali ghosty. I could sit and look at me for hours. Geesh Kali! Do you know how vain that sounds? I’m not vain but I also never lie and I look gorgeous. Did it ever occur to you that I could easily be described as a voluptuous, platinum blond with flame coloured highlights.! Humpf. Holy Catastrophe Kali. If it makes you feel better, you’re the best looking ghosty I’ve ever seen. Now, I’m getting back to the garden.
Come with me my friends. Let’s spend some quality time with my picture. Mom is going to frame my picture so everyone can enjoy me. Thank you so much Barb… we love my painting.
This is Friday friendly Fill ins week 4 and we decided to join up and fill in since we hadn’t been aware it existed. We have been wrapped up in planting between snow, rain and hail showers. This year gardening is not for sissies. Anyway, on with our fill ins hosted by 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader and told by Kali.
1. The best money I ever (had mom) spend was for my hysterectomy as I have absolutely NO motherly instinct towards those dumb bundles of sharp teeth and claws, and the worst was for the mechanical mouse that scares the crap out of me when it runs at me gnashing its teeth.
2. My most memorable vacation was with mom and my late sister Keeko at the Fraser River here in Prince George. We walked along the rocky beach and saw trees felled by the beavers, their homes, dams made by them and 3 beavers swimming in the river right close to us.
3. It makes me happy when the oregano starts growing again and I can roll in it.
Let’s take a stroll through the Lane. Our neighbours worked and got rid of some trees earlier during the summer. There was a loud racquet for days coming from this backyard. This is what they added. A wire fence or a section of it. Looks like some peeps are ready to play hockey out here. These folk had a B & E early last year and this is their protection now, a new fence where everybody can walk around it.
I’m coming mom. Slow down I gotta read the newspaper and find out who’s been here. Spot the Siamese! MOL Pretty good hiding place, eh? I still can’t catch a mouse though….I’ve tried everything…cwap! Ahhhh….feels good to lay down.
Here is a slightly blurry picture of Cow-Kitty looking proud as punch. Yep, you’re right, this is a pile of dirt on Showkali Island. Cow-Kitty was sleeping in here when mom got up this morning so she took him a bowl of Purrfect Bistro Duck Pate. He proceeded to gobble it up and then he buried his bowl. Mom had never seen this before have you?
