Hey Budd, where’s Shoko? I dunno, she’s probably in the bedroom. She doesn’t seem to like me.
Today is Sunday Selfies day at The Cat On My Head’s blog and I have taken a great picture of moi for the gallery of beautiful selfies.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day
A Letter From Cat Scouts Summer Camp
Kali, it’s so quiet without Shoko thundering down the hall to grab a straw before you do.
Personally, I like it, mom. A relaxing and quiet time without Shoks blabbing at the crows like some demented squirrel.
Look, Kali, we got a letter. It looks like it’s from Shoko.
KALI…..ORANGE
MOM…..PURPLE
SHOKO…..BLACK
Hi Mom, Kali, and Dad,
It’s me….Shoko! I am having so much fun at summer camp.
The first day we got settled in an awesome tent. Maggie is sharing the
tent with me. She’s so much fun. We ate popcorn and chattered into the night…we laughed till I wet myself.
The following day we went fishing and caught a Kokanee salmon. Pete H. cooked it up on the BBQ with lemon and dill…just like you do mom. It was delish!
We all went on a hike up this Half Dome Mountain. It was huge and steep….way too steep for Kali, she’d fall down. It was all I could do to hang onto the ropes and poles. MOL.

I wore my new outfit…it fits perfectly mom.
Did you notice the size of my head? Big, eh? Scout Andy said it was the altitude that gave me a big head. What’s a girl to do?
We finally made it to the top of Half Dome Mountain….what a view!
We got down the mountain a lot faster than going up. We were all back in camp and starving. Maggie and I headed over to the lodge for a fine meal.
In the evening we sat around the campfire and Obi said, I have a question, Denmaster. I was reading the Cat Scout Handbook whilst having my snack and on page fourteen it says that I should pack a poncho and rubbers. What if I\’m nootered?
Everybody started laughing even Denmaster. I don’t get it mom? What was so funny, eh? You can tell me when I get home.
I’ll write again if I get the time mom.
Love to everyone,
Scout Shoko

Kali Posing With The Travelling Sunglasses
Shoko you look funny trying to wear those things. MOL
What, you must be kidding mom…no it’s ok, I insist I don’t want to wear them.
How are we suppose to wear these things, Shoko?
How dare you mom, messing up my fur! Keep your paws down. You look like a movie star in the sunglasses Kali. Really?? Maybe I shouldn’t struggle so much and enjoy the look.
How do I look Shoko? Like a ghostie wearing sunglasses. Meeting you is a haunting encounter, Kali. MOL How rude, I’m not a ghostie and these sunglasses are beautiful. Whatever turns your crank, Kali.
I feel good about myself and my sunglasses. I hate to tell you this Kali but you are just one of many that will wear these sunglasses. You mean everyone in Blogville will wear these? Well, no, only a select number of kitties will wear them. Oh good. I was afraid for a minute some Woofie might give us all fleas from the sunglasses.

Look for us in the Pawlympics. One place we will be, is at Noodle’s Raspberry Throw/Tongue Curl.

Kali, What Am I going To Do With A Sister Like You?
My stars, it was hot as hell fire here today. The mercury climbed to 26C. That’s 78F for you southern neighbours. Now, you may laugh and say, “What’s her problem. That’s not hot.” For us 80F is hot. We are used to cooler weather. Peeps wear shorts and t-shirts when the temperature gets to -3C.
I tried very hard to get Kali to come outside and relax.
C’mon Kali, its cool out here.
Go away Shoko. I’m not coming out unless I wear protective clothing. My furs might catch fire. Ok, wait until I get my gear on. There. I can deal better with the heat this way.
You know Kali you look like a dork. You remind me of Richard Simmons, if he were lucky enough to be a feline. Aww… but I won’t go funny in the head from the sun. That’s because you’re already funny in the head Kali.
SHOKO – black
KALI – orange

Happy Gotcha Day Kali
Here it is 14 years after you graced mom’s doorstep. Mom told me you had trouble getting up over the doorstep and fell inside. That sounds like you Kali. MOL You were a cute little gaffer, sis.
Kali spent the morning over at Buddy’s place, Tomcat Commentary by Tim. They had a celebration for Kali on her 14th Gotcha Day. I hear everything is still going strong. We plan to go back there after this little get together for Kali.
Kali is cleaning up to see Buddy. She’s concentrating on her toes. Ya, Kali like Buddy’s going to be looking at your toesies. MOL
I have to wish you Happy Gotcha Day Kali. You are the bestest of sisters. You put up with me and that’s no easy task. I’ve heard I can be stubborn and pig headed….sorry my pig friends. Kali rolls her eyes and puts her nose to Shoko’s in a nose kiss.
Oh Buddy, you came to our intimate get together….come on in my sweet Blue Boy.
Mol…Buddy, you’re so funny! C’mon my Kali, let’s cuddlez.
Mom brought in some goodies she discovered in The Pied Piper Bakery and Deli
Zowee, Kali!! These guys are bubblelicious! Have a great day my friends….see ya later. MOL
