Thankful Thursday just crept up on us. We are Thankful for many things this Thursday. The temperature is very cool at night. Last night it was 2C and it was cloudy today. Great for the forest fires but not so warm for us kitties.
Last night was Budd’s first full night of sleeping in the house. We congratulate you, Budd, as this must have been difficult for you.
You handled yourself as a true gentleman.
I was so happy to be inside where it was warm and surrounded by my furry friends. Thanks, Tyebe and Shoko for making me feel wanted and cared for.
Walk on over to Brian’s Home and take a gander at your thankful friends. Just click on Brian’s Home and you’ll be there.
Have a thankful day, friends.
What a day it’s been. It was 16C (61F) here with sunshine so I padded about the garden and chased Juno home. Then I sprawled out in the dirt. This will happen tomorrow too. I am very happy to get out and do my thing. There are even flies showing up to buzz about my head.
After a day of fresh air and examining the garden, I need a place to let my fur down but still see what mom’s doing.Right here on her desk is perfect for me to make sure she is not out running around with other kitties. You never can tell with her.
You realize it’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home. Click on the name of the blog hop host and join us. So I am saying I am most thankful for today is this soft basket on mom’s desk. It”s so cozy that I’m getting sleepy. *yawn*
Actually, mom is not all that interesting when she’s on the computer. So I will say nightie nite and don’t let the bed fleas bite. What are you thankful for this Thankful Thursday?
It’s Sunday and that means selfie day. The Cat On My Head is hosting the blog hop for our unique selfies. Pop over and visit them or better yet join in on the fun.
The picture here is an old picture, 2015, but it describes exactly what I was doing and my feelings about it. I love to see the water in with the ice move and I get so very excited which in turn brings my inquisitive claws out. In 2015 the water soaked mom as she was waking up. Once again mom was waking up and didn’t have a camera so we decided the old photo should explain matters. Sorry about the picture quality.
Mom was a tad upset with me. I decided to give myself a ‘Time Out.’
Have a great day everyone.
Sunday is selfie day and The Cat On My Head is once again hosting Sunday Selfie which is a blog hop so hop over there to put your selfie in the blog hop or just laugh…peer at your buds.
Ahh…A lazy Sunday afternoon…feels good to scratch and stretch. What’s that noise on the front porch. Hey you….ya, you furry face. What are you doing on my porch?
Sorry sir but this house looks familiar. Of course its familiar, you pass it everyday and don’t call me sir….I’m a lady cat. Really, I never knew that. Do I live here?
For a shrew’s sake….no way! Do I look like someone you live with? Not really….you would scare me. I’m not scary just emphatic. Geesh….make me feel guilty why don’t you?
You live beside this house. You have no brothers or sisters. Go look at the house next door and it will look very familiar. Thank you sir….I mean madam…um… female kitty. Just get off the porch and go home. Gotcha! Bye!
Who’s ever heard of a cat forgetting where she lives? She’s a kook.
Aww…a fine day to mellow and relax, inside. It’s a very cold day with tons of sunshine. What temperature did the weatherman say it was this morning, Kali?
Guess who came over for mouses in a block of cheese?
A lovely day today. The sun is playing across the sky but the wind is strong and quite fresh. A lovely day for a stroll.
November and we can actually walk on the sidewalks without slippin’ in the snow. Can life be any better than this? Look, our Alpine Willy Clematis is mixed up and there are a few blossoms. A blossom in November. Never seen this before.
Mom and I are headed to the nearest pet store. It’s a very windy day and the wind is making my coat stand up. Refreshing!!
Mom was getting tired pushing against the wind. We stopped at the new industrial development and mom relaxed.
From Gateway we went into the pet store. No pictures here. They gave me some kitties treats. I was famished and grabbed onto one. Immediately I spit it out. Ewwww…it was gross. Don’t ever buy these mom….awful. Mom asked what they were. The clerk said those were freeze dried chicken livers. We won’t be getting those anytime soon.
Mom got a few Christmas presents and we were out of there.
I settled down after those yucky treats and we headed home. As we got closer to the house, mom and I heard some hammering and sawing coming from the garage. Dad was hard at work building something. What is it dad? It’s going to be a house for Cow Kitty so he can stay warm during the winter.
What if he doesn’t like it and won’t go near it….what will we do? Let’s try him with it first Shoko.
I think he likes it. So far so good. I can’t think of something for the door….we need warmth in the house but not to frighten Cow Kitty or make him feel trapped. Should we have clear plastic, a towel or something else. Please we would like your ideas of how to improve the house.
Busy day today.
May your boyfriend never hiss and tell.
