What a day! It was horrible. Yes, I went outside but not for long. It was -13C out there. Brr… Budd attempted a quick tinkle outside but gave up and came inside. Budd’s water bowl outside is frozen solid. Thank goodness dad got the heated water bowl out. It’s now outside with cool but not frozen water.
I plan on staying right here for some time. It’s warm and comfy.
We all looked out the sliding glass door this morning and saw the snow. Tyebe didn’t want to see the snow….it looked too spooky for her and she left.
Budd and I decided to limit our time outside.
Seeing as it’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home blog, we are thankful we are inside, warm and with plenty to chow down on. We even have treats.
Budd come outside it’s a nice day. A wee bit windy but nothing to hide over. That’s it, shake those paws. Tyebe’s flying around the yard with her leash on.
I found her Shoko. Let’s mew over who will lead the way down the Lane.
I’s will lead the way down the Lane. Me’s will be good at it. Me’s can run down the Lane. What about mom holding your leash? Are you going to drag her down the Lane on her butt? Oh, clumps of nip!! Me’s forgot about her.You can lead the way Tyebe if you slow down so we can read the newspaper along our walk.
OK….deal. Me’s won’t drag mom along the Lane but walk like a grown-up kitty.
Did you two know it’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home? Ya, we did Tyebe and we’re thankful for these walks along the Lane before snow falls. Snow falls? What’s snow? Gee, I guess you’ve never seen snow Tyebe but it’s white stuff that falls from the sky and covers the land till the land is all white. It gets very cold and the rain turns white. Oh my kibble, I don’t like the sound of that. Maybe we can go for a walk tomorrow too. We have to see what the weather’s like Tyebe.
Have a Thankful Thursday friends.
SHOKO…..BLACK TYEBE…..ROYAL BLUE BUDD……SEASICK GREEN
What a typical fall day. It’s too windy out there so Budd, Shoko and me’s came inside for the day. The leaves are blowing from yard to yard and it’s chilly.
This is Selfie Sunday at The Cat On My head’s blog so me’s will pose while asleep and snap that picture. All you have to do is click on The Cat On My Head badge and visit your anipals taking their selfie. I’s tell you, sometimes the selfies are so funny. mol *hic*
This is me sleeping….I really worked at this picture. Thank goodness the timer’s fixed.
Me’s is so very relaxed and dreaming of treats….they taste so good!
Hey Tyebe, what’s this supposed to be?Budd, it’s mice in cheese. It don’t look like no cheese I’ve ever seen. You have to use your imagination, Budd.
The mice are comin’ out of the cheese but don’t get your face too close or the mice will poke you in the eye. Mean little boogers, aren’t they? Mol *hic* The mice keep us on our claws so we pay attention to our game. I’d rather have real mice and cheese.
What’re you two scallywags doing?
Tyebe’s teaching me the joys of plastic cheese and mean mice. She says I can’t eat the cheese and the mice will peck my eye out if I get too close. Really Tyebe, this is not fun!
You wanna play with me’s pepper, Budd?
Whacha do with a pepper, Tyebe?I’s play with it, throw it in the air and catch it. Does it taste good?Tastes like my spit.Ohhhh…you can have it then.
Let’s think positive Budd. It’s a Sparks Monday today and we all need a boost to start the week. Annie of McGuffy’s Reader started Sparks and even though she is taking a break right now, we decided to light a candle and show some people the way into a fine Monday.
There you are….happiness. A great way to light up the day.
Thankful Thursday just crept up on us. We are Thankful for many things this Thursday. The temperature is very cool at night. Last night it was 2C and it was cloudy today. Great for the forest fires but not so warm for us kitties.
Last night was Budd’s first full night of sleeping in the house. We congratulate you, Budd, as this must have been difficult for you.
You handled yourself as a true gentleman.
I was so happy to be inside where it was warm and surrounded by my furry friends. Thanks, Tyebe and Shoko for making me feel wanted and cared for.
Walk on over to Brian’s Home and take a gander at your thankful friends. Just click on Brian’s Home and you’ll be there.
