We had a very happy Christmas. Mom gave us turkey for brekky and for supper and we sucked it down like the turk was Greenies. Then it was off to the tree standing in the living room. Dad was playing with the train…whoops, sorry dad. Dad was fixing the tracks cause they needed lubricating to keep the train on them. I didn’t tell him I’ve been batting at the train and then running like crazy up to the condo with Mistle Poop at the door. mew, mew, mew. I just like to say poop! mol
Santa brought me a remote control snake. This dude is a real horror. The snake, not Santa! Scared the crap outta me….looks so real.
Kept Kali awake for some time.
Next was Kali’s gift from Santa. She got what she asked for.
I examined the hut on the inside for any deadbeats hanging around and Kali examined the outside for drafts. The hut passed the test.
I could choose no feathers or for a bit more get the feathers. The feathers are just right for mom….don’tcha think? I didn’t have quite enough for the feathered wand so dad helped…thanks, dad.
Have a great Thursday friends.
We’re joining The Cat On My Head’s Sunday Selfie blog hop. Shoko spent most of the day at Cat Scouts cause the SeaCats were putting on a special cruise.
They sent messages to each other with flags. A good way to brush up on her flagging communication.
Meanwhile back at Fort Meezer Kali was holding the joint together despite overwhelming challenges….like staying awake. I heard a noise…who’s there…..
Kali, do you know that this is the day the Elf on the Shelf appears. Oh no, he’s a little psycho….I never know how to take him. What’s his name again? Elfin John! I heard rattling in mom’s nightie drawer, shall we take a peek? OK…let’s see if the strange little guy is awake. He’s waking up Shoko. Shall we close the drawer? No, he’d probably just kick until mom opened the drawer and then he’d leap out at her…scare the friggin’ stuffing out of her. Geez, how did he get on the bed so fast! Quick little weirdo aren’t you? What did you call me you, you…..beady eyed, candy cane legged freak! And so it begins…..Elfin John is loose in the house until Christmas.
This is also Selfie Sunday with The Cat on My Head so we are joining the line to get on her site. So come visit us and our anipals there with one click on the hosting blog. A joke for you my friends. What kind of bread do elves make sandwiches with?
Why, shortbread of course.
The mail lady rang the doorbell….quick run UTB. Who was the package from Kali? I don’t know ….let me go see. Hey, it’s from Easy in France. Really? That’s awesome……all the way from France. C’mon mom, hurry and open it. Oh look there’s Fozziemum’s picture of a kangaroo on the card. That’s right Easy won some of Fozziemum’s cards, Now we have one too. Flat Shoko will be spending Christmas with Easy and his staff. Cool! Look at the Oktoberfest stuffs. Woah! Let me get your picture Kali. Don’t fidget.
Now for Cow-Kitty:
We had to cheat and pizap his hat on him. He was very uncooperative. Doesn’t he look like Harry Potter? He just needs a pair of glasses.
OK Shoks we’ve all had our pictures done except you. Your turn.
MOL Once again you look totally ticked Shoko. I guess I just look that way Kali.
Dad has a great photo.
Notice the pearl necklace she’s wearing. Sorry but the earrings have Beatrice’s name on them. Beatrice will be back from her modelling assignment for Christmas. So we thank you Easy and staff for her.
Mom is looking through the Halloween ornaments for her cauldron. I hear her now…..hahahahahahahahahahahaha
