Thankful Thursday’s Walk

Tyebe, c’mon we’re going for a walk in the Lane.

We haven’t been in the Lane for a couple of months. Woohoo! Budd, Budd….wake up. Get your walking booties on, we’re all going for a walk in the Lane.

Hurry up you two. Quite sniffing every little blade of grass or it’ll be dark before you get to the falling down house!

We’s hurrying Shokos. Come on Budd….get your paws movin’.

Ah! The smell of fall is in the air. It’s getting cold.  Look the Mountain Ash is loaded with berries again.   A hard winter’s in store for this area.

Tyebe and Budd will never find me in here. mol Hissss….you found me Tyebe. There’s no fur growing between me’s claws Shokos.

Mom wants us to head home.  So let’s go, gang.

Already, it’s time to go home! No, I’s don’t wanna go!

Let’s go home, Tyebe. Shoko said something about it being Thankful Thursday so let’s tell everyone about our adventure in the Lane.

That was a fun walk even if I had to wear a leash.  We are so thankful mom took us out for a walk in the Lane.  We are joining Brian’s Home for Thankful Thursday.  Just click on the badge and be taken to see the other thankful anipals.                                                      Me’s sure am tired now.

Have a wonderful Thursday!

Buried by Friendly Friday Fill Ins

It’s time for Friendly Friday Fill Ins with our co-hosts Ellen from 15 and Meowing and Annie from McGuffy’s Reader.

1. If someone were visiting my area, I would recommend a visit to…..THE LANE.  THERE WE CAN VIEW THE WILD FLOWERS, MOUSE HUTS, OTHER FRIENDS AND MANY NAPPING SPOTS IN THE SUN.

2. My favorite room in my home is…THE LIVING ROOM.  THIS IS WHERE MY CONDO IS AND I LOVE MY CONDO.  I CAN SEE OUT THE WINDOW AND TALK TO THE CROWS.

I’ll answer the last two Kali.  Thank

you sis.

3. Back-to-school time makes me think of…SHADES OF NAIL POLISH……  YOU SEE WHILE SHOKO WENT TO VIRMIN COLLEGE, I WENT TO FINISHING SCHOOL.  SO MY EDUCATION IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN SHOKO’S.  THIS IS WHY SHOKO HAS THE MANNERS OF A PIG AT TIMES.

4. My favourite year of school was…..THE SECOND YEAR, because….. WE STARTED LEARNING ETIQUETTE.  MY WORLD CHANGED WHEN I COULD ACT LIKE A SOUTHERN BELLE BUT HAVE THE TEMPERAMENT OF A NORTHERN CANADIAN CAT.                                                         Have a great Fish Day.

•Tweedledum and Tweedledee Land In London

SHOKO…..BLACK
KALI…..ORANGE

Mom and dad flew into London on rails and walked 87 miles from the Eurostar into St. Pancras Station.  Then out the other side to the main exit.  Dad rushed on ahead of mom…cause she was walking like she was dragging a moose behind her.  Mom finally made it to the exit and guess who greeted her?  It was Princess Leah, and her mom and dad.  Our dad was there too.                                                              How exciting Shoko.  They all went for tea in  St. Pancras Station. I think mom was stunned as she didn’t seem to take many pictures.                                                                      Here is Princess Leah’s mom, Julie and her dad, Mike.  Her Royal Highness is trying to get at the Canada Goose Shoko and I stuck in mom’s suitcase for Leah.  Mom said she enjoyed a relaxing cuppa with Leah and her parents.  She could have stayed and enjoyed their company for several more hours but it was time to get to the hotel. Take a look at Princess Leah’s Blog and see more pictures of our meeting.

Now St. Pancras Station is an old castle like building.  It is beautiful beyond compare.  Any repairs to the old structure are kept in the same style.                                                    Mom and dad caught a taxi to their hotel…The TavistockIt wasn’t far but these two decided they didn’t need to struggle down the sidewalk with their suitcases.                                                            Our travellers woke in Normandy and now they were in London.  To say they were tired was an understatement.

The next day found mom and dad deciding to walk about their area around the Tavistock Hotel.                                                                               Mom and dad liked the quaint shops along the street.                                                                The Post Box was so shiny and new looking.  Where the ones in Prince George look like they had a fight with a woofie and lost.                                                                          MOL….mom is in her glory looking for different spices and concoctions than in Canada.

The next place to find was Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium.  A bit of a challenge for our wanderers.

I won’t show you all the areas they wandered in and out but  Chinatown and Coventry Gardens were two of the districts.

They found Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium just as dad was starting to say they had come the wrong way while he was pushing mom on her walker.  They both were so excited they forgot to take a picture.

Inside was a small cat heaven. There were cats sleeping…of course.  Cats watching the pigeons and greeter cats showing us around.                                                                       Shoko would be crazy over these stairs….dropping on me from above.                                                                                Look at these caves for the cats.  They look like they’re in the wild forests of Africa.  What a hoot.

The birds outside caught these kitties attention while we sat and had High Tea.

A most satisfying visit to their first cat café.

Next installment…visiting Harrods Department Store.
