The street sweepers showed their stuff and cleaned the street so I could eat off it.
You know…pass some of the water puddle….I’m thirsty. mol
Notice in the background that the school flag is flying at half mast. Queen Elizabeth’s husband, Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edenborough, passed away yesterday at the age of 99.
He and the queen were married for over seventy years and he was loved by everyone. He was funny and a character.
We are joining Cooper Murphy…..my Snap and his family on The Cat On My Head for Selfie Sunday.

The weather hasn’t improved any. It is still grey and the temperature though just -1c feels like -10c.
Time for Shoko’s wise meezerism for this week. Take it away Shoko.
Yes, it’s sad the Duke of Edinburgh passed away. He was a big support to Her Majesty the Queen. He was a man who had to find a way to fit in, and managed it.
You two seem to be so cold!!! I hope you warm up soon!

I guess he was her main support. She couldn’t tell just anyone her problems.

It is sad that the Duke of Edinburgh has passed. He was a remarkable man and will be missed. It is lovely and sunny this morning but was -3C through the night. Lovely and warm in the sheltered garden, but very cold in the northerly wind.

The duke was always a good looking man and as he aged he became a character.

What a long life the Duke of Edinburgh had – he really was amazing in many ways. We do think you girls did well organizing your Sunday Selfies.

We’ve been watching “The Crown” on Amazon Prime Movies and are waiting for the next season. Highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it (and have Amazon Prime). Amy
Shoks, you hit the nail on the head with that meezerism. I couldn’t have said it any better myself! XOX Xena

Prince Phillip was a character and not at all like a stuffy royal.

This cool weather is a bit much. We’re even thinking twice about a BBQ. It’s just too cool for much outside.

Sad about the Prince. Glad stupid Megan Markle isn’t attending his services as that would be a slap in the face to the royal family. Great selfies. XO

Prince Phillip is an icon in our books. I feel for Queen Elizabet as she’s lost her sole support in such trying times. Megan means well but is stumbling and because of her position the press grabs and publishes everything she says.

Hi Guys! Mom was sad to read about Prince Phillip. She loved his sense of humor. And we are happy that your street sweeper did not fill your lawn with gravel (Like ours did). And Ladies, you look glorious in the sunshine! THe mezzerism rocks! and the meme – right now we are the house of hair – Cinnamon is blowing her undercoat and if you walk across the carpet, you have dog fur socks (even us cats). We are sending you two (and your peeps) a marvellously happy day!

Hope you are getting more sun than us. We hardly ever see the sun and if we do its only for a few minutes. We could use some Cin socks! The spring weather has not hit us yet and we are tired of waiting but what can we do.

Lovely selfies, as always. Truly sad Prince Phillip didn’t live to see 100. Such an incredible life he led.

He really did have quite the life. He was out here to British Columbia over 70 times. He also started a wild life sanctuary here. He was quite the fellow.

Prince Philip had a wicked sense of humour. Once the queen nad him got stuck on the Saskatchewan River. There is a picture of them being brought back to land with the Prince laughing and the queen looking pissed off. It caught everyone’s eye. hehe

We’re sad to the Queen. We can’t imagine losing someone you’ve spent that much time with. It was hard enough for us when our Daddy went to Heaven.
Great selfies and excellent Meezerism!

Come over here, we are in the best time of the year…Spring!
So sad about Prince Phillip.
Somehow or other, I have always thought how much he made me think of my own father…who was a wee bit older…by about 18 months or so…
How he will be missed:(
I did get to see him and Her Majesty once when they came to my town on Ontario, WAY back when I was a young-un of about 20…I could have touched them, they were that close! Amazing!
