The days are getting colder, Shoko, and shorter. No more chewin’ the nip with friends after dinner. After dinner we have to stay inside cause night falls like a curtain now. I just get out the door and dad’s hassling me to get back inside.
The smells here….holy nip from the north, it’s going to rain buckets Shoko. The grass smells like rain.
You’re right, Tyebe….it’s going to be a wet night. Let me pose for my selfie and then we’ll head home.
This is the deck the neighbour’s are getting fixed up. It shows the blue of my eyes so well.
It’s time I rambled on with my Meezerizm. There are so many wise sayings but today this one is aimed at Tyebe. I must have a cool refreshing drink first.
“If the early bird gets the worm and the early cat gets the bird…..who gets the feathers?”
MOL Love that final cartoon!
You two have some lovely photos today and the fountain is really lovely!

The days are getting shorter here too. Yesterday was dull and by 8pm it was pitch black! Another 5 weeks and the clocks go back and it will be dark by 6pm. I don’t like winter! I do like your drinking fountain though.

We sleep alot in winter…..short naps. Then we get up and harass mom at 3am….she’s always so stunned. We don’t care for the winters either. The snow is very refreshing during our short walks.

Dear Shoko, shouldn’t it be, Who gets the cat?
No, no that’s too awful to think about.

It almost happens overnight. One day the scenery is green and lush and the next, the leaves have started turning colour. At Least you get the beautiful red of the oaks or is it maples back there.

Rain!?! Wes sure could use some to get the smoke out of the air and let some heat back in. Shoko, your eyes are glorious! And we gotta say, that fountain is smashing! What a great place to hang out for a drink after a walk! Happy Fall!

Yes, you and California, Oregon and Washington state could use buckets of rain about now. Soon the rains will come. Our hearts cry out for the animals left homeless.and injuried.

Tyebe doesn’t seem to care if she gets wet but mom has a towel handy for her cuddling time when she first gets home.

As for the feathers?? Around here, other birds use them to line their nests, and some the hooligans pick up, chew on and then spit out, cause, well they are feathers!
