Hey Shoks…nice day. The Lane’s getting dusty….the best baths in the world are right here in the Lane with warm and soft dust. You could travel the world or at least this area and not find a finer bath, Tyebe.
We’re just dang lucky to be so close to a fine dusting of dirt.
Look at that guy go! What guy? Be more specific, Tyebe. The squirrel that lives in the evergreen behind us.
He does have a purpose. There must be some yummy squirrel treats he can smell.
Yep,his buddy got the goody.
These guys are in great shape.
We are joining The Cat On My Head for Sunday Selfies. Pop over and admire your friends posing for their selfies.

Nice walk on the lane ladies – avoid those puddles – your Mom probably wouldn’t want you to come inside needing a bath (and I bet you wouldn’t like that either!!!!!).

Wow, I could have sworn there was a cat chasing that there squirrel, MOL
Now I have to say that your lane looks extra special, and clearly you haves some quality dust spars your way. Around here the spars are generally all the muddy sort, and believe me it’s not the sort of mud you’d want on your face, MOL
Great selfies this week, and we hope you all stay well and safe!

Aww yes, the mud days! We know them well. The mud sticks to the feet and tastes like little balls of rotten booties. This is spring break up here and the mud is so very cold.

Xena: Are you waiting for the squirrel to fall off his high wire so you can chase hime, Tyebe? I would roll in your dust puddle with you! (Even if it meant a bath when I got home.) XOX
Lucy: Hope you are both doing well, my friends. If I rolled in a dust puddle, my shiny hair wouldn’t shine any more, so I think I’ll pass. XOX

The dust brings all the natural oils to the surface and with a brush the oils jump out at ya.

Humans that can walk a tightrope are considered very talented but a squirrel can make them look like they should take up another career.

We have oodles of walnuts here, too,and the squirrels nibble on them and then bury them…they then do not feel very pleasant under the feet…
Those dudes cannot only run like the wind, they can jump very high…and on did to by pass the baffle on the feeder pole…and he scored himself some peanuts! (Its fixed now so no tree rat can get up there, no matter how high they jump…and for sure they cannot climb up there either. They will have to settle for the ones the birds drop/spill…and trust me there is plenty on the ground.
The hooligans chase those rascals away, but so far have not caught one. I think the neighbour’s cat did though, we saw it hanging out of her mouth…OMC!
