Today is Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home. The first thing we are thankful for is the help Zoe is getting right now. Come back to us Zoe….we think you’re beautiful. Go visit Zoe’s family at https://brianshomeblog.com/ and let them know that they have your support. Click on the site and be taken without walking over there.

Zoe you will receive all the positive thoughts we can muster….POTP Zoe is home with her family now and we are so thankful for this.
Where’s Budd, Shoko? Holy nipshoes masked Shoko…why the mask?
This is the new normal wear for the back Lane. We want to keep it virus free.
That makes sense so I’ll get my mask out too. I thought we couldn’t get the virus. Now, they’re not so sure. Dogs have acquired the disease so I’m for covering up.
I see Budd. Wow, he couldn’t get up on the fence when he first came to live with us. He was too fat.
Today is also Poetic Thursday that Angel Sammy started and Teddy is carrying on at One Spoiled Cat. Click on the blog name and visit them whether they want you or not….mol….just kidding guys. Teddy is always up for a good chinwag .
Looks scary.
This is a deep dark forest of old trees that form walls
We found it when we were chasing plastic balls
See the lovely flowers of red and there’s blue too
So the sunlight must give life by shining through.
There is a crossroad up ahead…which one to choose?
The path to the right becomes dull and full of fog
I fear if we take this path we’ll soon have the blues.
The path on the left shows bright sunlight but it could be a bog
The only thing to do is pick up my booties and jog.
Time for Shoko’s weekly Meezerism.
we love the poem and da meezerism…. sadly we can not wear masks, da nelly wrecked a whole package… a reason to laugh at normal times but a nuclear meltdown now LOL

Glad you guys liked our attempts at being bards. Masks are hot and uncomfortable and I can understand why Nelly ate them.

Haven’t we all had one of those at some time. Mom had a neighbour that would hide behind the drapes and stick her whole head out to watch while mom was chopping wood.

Good girls for wearing your masks! Everyone is vulnerable so everyone needs to be SAFE! We think you did a wonderful job with your poem for this week’s photo…..it’s a rather magical photo and conjures up all kinds of scenarios doesn’t it. Choices – it’s all about choices……..you three cats are lucky to have a happy home so stay safe!!!!
Hugs, Teddy

Meoow! Those masks are great, and very important to use outside your own yard. That meezerism hit straight to our house, my mom is cat’s pajamas today, she just sits and says she can’t do anything, her leg is dripping off. Cats’s pajamas, I say.

The humans around here are wearing masks for almost everything…except when working in the yarden!

They are doing a great job of containing the virus. Mom and dad wear the masks around other people but they don’t go out much and hardly anybody coes here. I don’t like human visitors anyway.

We’re glad you found masks that fit. Silly Mom has masks with cat faces….does she really think people will think she’s a cat??????

Nice masks, which reminds me I need to sew a few more up.

How adventurous you are sewing your own masks. Mom hates sewing of any kind so a friend gave mom and dad masks.

Couldn’t find masks initially so had to make mine. No decent fabric to be found but, luckily I had some scraps left over from bandana-making last autumn. 😷

Using leftover material is definitely the way to go, Monika. I feel if I get in a bind I can tie a scarf around my face…..and pull a bag over my head…mol

Shoko and Tyebe, we think you are trend-setter in your masks, but we’re not sure about your pajamas, Shoks. I (Lucy) have these gawd-awful blue pajamas with yellow bananas on them that Mom got me for Christmas a few years ago. They’re horrid! I’m just glad we had a pretty warm winter this past year so she didn’t make me wear them! XOX Lucy and Xena

Umm, I don’t think eating myself would be a good idea Tyebe. I think maybe you should let Shoko proof your messages. They might be from Tyeland, I’ll have to ask Mom. XOX Lucy

We see those masks everywhere, but since we stay inside we don’t wear one…well, we stay in the yard. No walkies, we chase eachother like crazy rascals, and we chase varmints, real and imagined…
Pipo stays inside exclusively. He did used to go out through the doggy doors but hasn’t done that for a couple years now., Thankfully! Once I found him on the front porch, he got out and walked the whole walkway to the front…but if I would carry him outside he would be freaked!! Go figure.

I can see that….I don’t like to be picked up and stiffen up like a board. Tyebe likes to be picked up and purrs loudly the whole time. Nobody’s ever tried to pick Budd up and love him….he’s a big guy and not really the cuddly type.
