My Mom loves the scent of lilacs and they do a wonderful job of naturally adding a fresh aroma wherever they are put inside AND out. Budd, don’t feel bad – we all adore food and will love whoever gives it to us FOREVER!!!! Right???

Our lilacs didn’t bloom for very long this year, but our tree is very old. In the past, I’d bring a few blooms inside, then have to take them back outside again because their perfume was much too strong…hahaha!

I haven’t seen any ordinary lilacs blooming around here…maybe not such a good yesr for them. These branches came from a Korean Lilac. The pink is spectacular but the branches are short.

I’m with you, Budd. Food is my favorite thing ever. Mom agrees with your mom. Lilacs are the best. We smell them in the air outside every day, but we don’t know where they actually are out there, Probably in the woods across from our balcony.
Love and licks,

Lilacs have such a sweet scent but far too short a life span in the house.

I love lilacs, but the blossoms are not open yet, and looks like there is only a few blossoms.

Food must be a universal language. Funny the blossoms haven’t opened yet….you were faster than us with summer weather but then the temperature dropped in Finland so perhaps that put the lilacs of their main debut.

Gosh your pink lilacs are beautiful! I rarely see pink and those are lovely. And you’re quite right, let that scent linger around the house.

These are Korean Lilacs. Difference beiing….well, they’re pink and the branches are not as long. The smell is gorgeous though.

Aww, I’ll have to check them out more closely. They are exquisite. With the dry winter and late spring frost, regular lilacs didn’t fare well here.

Xena: It looks like you fell asleep reading book, Tyebe. Was it good?
Lucy: I love laying in the sun, too, Shoko.
Both: Budd, we understand!

Heavens no!! It’s so much fun to see her reaction…she sure can hiss loud but her whaps are free of claws so she can’t be that mad.

I love the smell of lilac.
Nothing wrong with loving your food, Budd. I see you still get yucky greens instead of nice ones. Grunge Green???

They are strange creatures but make sense….Budd was denied food or had pretty crappy food being on the road as he was, Now he just adores meal times and sings his heart out when he gets whiff of dinner. Shoko was feral until I got her from the SPCA when she was 3 weeks old so she doesn’t remember to much of hard times so she is picky about her food and not that hungry. Products of upbringing I guess.

Tyebe, we would say that lying on the camera is a great way to keep from having your photo taken, but your peeps must have another camera, and your Snap is very happy that they do. Everybody did a super job with the fill-ins. Mom says those lilacs are totally gorgeous. Snap sends whisker kisses to Tyebe. And thanks for showing those pretty lilacs. Our white one and our purple ones did not bloom at all this year, sadly enough.
