We had an awesome day on Easter Sunday. It was such a warm day that we all went out on the deck.
Shoko came out and even touched noses with Budd. Then Shoks made a wide circle around him and went onto the lawn. Go figure….maybe Shoks is just weird specially around male cats!

The Easter Bunny left baskets for mom and dad and a big tub of greenies for us.
To say we were delighted as were mom and dad is saying the very least. This was a hoppy happy Easter for all of us. Looks like mom got more than dad….that’s how dad wanted it….no problemo then.
We got ham for a snack in the evening.
Budd tucked into his ham snack like it could run away.

So this is ham!
Yuck!! I don’t like it. Would you like it Shoko? The pieces are so big!
Um….this ham is in big chunks….How big do you think my mouth is?
No, I don’t like this meat….you can have it dad. Um… There seem to be a couple of pictures headed for “Photo Fails.”
We played around near the computer.
Shoko read the Easter Cards we received from our friends.
Later in the day it rained but dad ran outside to try and get the picture of the stuffies in the window.
These stuffies are for the dedication of the front line workers and any kids that might get a chuckle out of them See, I’m considered a stuffie!
We are so fortunate to have these things to be thankful for and on that note we all went off to bed.
Mom read to us and I hugged her tablet.
The end of a perfect day at Fort Meezer.
Awww, what a fun and wonderful Easter you were blessed with!
Petcretary couldn’t help but see the mug…she has a whole set of dishes by Royal Albert. She has Tranquility, but I think your mug is Forget Me Not? Hard to get any of that here…
LikeLike
Yes, I believe it is Forget Me Not. I’m not sure but if you really want to know…I’ll ask my sister in law. She has the whole set. I love a special dainty mug for my tea. The Royal Albert mugs are usual $40 to $60 each in the store. I feel I’m worth it so save my mad money and buy one. However, I looked at the side of my Facebook messenger and found these Royal Albert mugs selling by someone here in Prince George for $40 for 4 of them. Needless to say that was a gotta have.

Ouch, that is way pricey! I could make a small fortune selling mine…but no way! Mine were in my wedding hope chest…and added to over the earlier years…
Now we are ‘ordinary’ most of the time, and use Corelle for dining, MOL! That is what little boys do to fine dining, hah!
I should get out my china set for our anniversary, esp if we are still on quarantine…hopefully not in July anymore!

Ooh, I am glad my taste is cheaper then.
I already had a beating conscience for buying my Dunoon-Nevis mugs, like these:
https://www.ateelier.de/geschirr/tassenbecher/becher-happy-cats-nevis-0-48-l?number=A032196.0090
They are three for 54 Euro (plus shipping). That is a lot of money for a mug, but I have bought all in all 13 (and only have 11 left, as two broke, I USE them after all), the last one being of a no-cat theme, but a winter robin. But I have to stop buying more – no space

That is very expensive for a mug but its worth spending the extra for a unique item. I love my tea and it tastes so delightful in a china mug. I am the only one with a bone china mug…..hubby likes his own mug. I looked at the URL and those cat cups/mugs are delightful. I would have a soft spot for them too.

Do get out your china set and just use them with you and hubby. You want to use them. Mom gave me her Dresden China from Germany. Every single plate is chipped but she used them till they were….not so nice. She wins! You know I use corelle too! I guess you and I are just not fancy folk! lol

It sure looks like you all had a great Easter – the Bunny delivered as he was supposed to – baskets, treats, even ham (I don’t like it either!) and you rounded out the day with snuggling in bed with Mom. Just about PERFECT right?

Sounds like a real nice day for all. We were pleased to have a snowstorm and got a good 7 inches. Mom won’t let us have ham, but I know we would love it. You are lucky kitties.

If the ham wasn’t in such large chunks I think we would have eaten more but really I’d rather have my Fancy Feast.

I’m glad you had a nice Easter and got to enjoy some ham. At least some of you enjoyed it. I’m not sure why cats like their meat in little pieces when they eat whole mice in the wild.

Not this kit!! I won’t eat a mouse and certainly not whole! I’m not a wild animal. Mom raised me with some manners. Yuck…a furry body with eyeballs looking at me while I take a bite……GROSS!

Looks like a lovely Easter day. We had a little snow storm but it melted quickly. Just in time for today’s blizzard! LOL Springtime in the Rockies…never dull.

You’re right its not dull in the Rockies. Our spring is just starting with temperatures up to 10C. The trees should be in bud soon.

We’ve had snow the week of Mother’s Day for the past 3 years so I don’t expect this on again, off again cycle to end any time soon. 🙃

You sure do look tired at the end of the day, Tyebe. You must have fallen asleep playing on your Mom’s tablet. We can’t believe you didn’t gobble down the ham! We never, ever get ham. Mom used to see a lot of dogs in the vets right after Easter with pancreatitis from ham. We’re glad the Bunny got you something good. Mom and Dad said every meal is a special meal for us. Maybe they should have just doubled the amount! XOX Xena and Lucy

Doubling the amount would have been good. I wonder why dogs end up at the vet’s after eating ham? I wonder if some of the ham is glazed and they ate that part too. Dad made sure he just gave us ham and not the glaze. He could have cut the chunks smaller though.

Good question. We asked Mom, and she said it is because it usually has too much fat. That’s why, when we get raw hamburger, it needs to be 90% lean. And Mom cuts the fat off everything else.
