A beautiful day, very warm. A sleepy type of day. Where is everyone? There’s not a bit of a furry insight. I’ll bet Tyebe’s at the telephone pole looking for the squirrels.
Yep, there she is! There’s no way she can climb that pole and the squirrels aren’t coming down so she can chase them.
Meanwhile, I’ll introduce Selfie Sunday to you. The Cat On My Headis hosting this splendid event. Animals from far and wide come to honour this event. So let’s see you over at The Cat On My Headblog. You know what to do,click on the badge or the blog name to get there via shortcuts. We wish the Blue family a Happy 7th Blogaversary. Very well done Blue family.
Here’s Tyebe!
She’s just full of chatter about the squirrels and how mean they are. They just won’t play with her.
Now for the Meezer Moral system with Shoks.
” A flower is pretty but a dish of tuna is tasty and filling.”
Thank you for such wise words and such lovely active selfies. Squirrels sure are the noisiest of critters and rude, too, for not playing with us. Still they do provide hours of entertainment for uscats so I guess I can put up with it. MOL

It’s probably a good thing Tyebe can’t get to those squirrels – they might just surprise her with their fighting techniques! Good thing you watch out for her Budd. Hope you all have a fabulous Sunday!
How mean of those squirrels not to play with Tyebe!
It’s lucky she has you and Shoko to play with her, Budd.
Pawpats and headbutts from your friends in Jerusalem, Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi
Wow, all the way from Jerusalem! Mom told us Jerusalem is on the other side of the world from us. That’s unbelievable…..guess we won’t be taking the Magic Carpet to visit anytime soon Trixie, Caspurr and Shimshi. Your names are beautiful. We are going to visit you on your blog though.
We like tuna over flowers too Shoko MOL. Tyebe are you meowing at those skwerls? They may not be listening so just wait till they come down. Work on a mousie until then Hee Hee. Hi Budd you are looking sharp today. Purrs Mom is doing well
There is no contest between flowers and tuna. Flowers do smell pretty but tuna fills that gnawing space in my tummy. Mom says I eat a lot but never seem to put weight on.
Thank you for being on our first Sunday Selfie blog hop and here again at our 7th blogoversary one. Cooper Murphy is so super excited to see the lovely Tyebe and is blowing her kisses. We all are praying that Mom Jean is doing better each day. Shoko is very wise! Sending lots of love to all . XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
CooperM I’m catching your kisses and putting them in mom’s mason jar for later. Mom seems to be doing better, She is up and drying herbs from the garden so she must be doing well. She even went outside on the deck with Budd today. We are always delighted to see her up and about. I tried tripping her by running around her feet but Budd got angry with me and said I was being a nuisance. He doesn’t get angry often so I listen to him. Concats on the blogaversary.
You are so kind. We did have our coat combed for the special occasion. I’d say Tyebe better watch the squirrels. She has only met one cat in the Lane that has been rude to her but I fear these squirrels will be more than just rude,
You are a lovely trio! Tyebe is sometimes furious, Shoko is very wise and Tyebe is between these two girls negotiating, so you have peace in the house.
Hugs to you and to your mom.
Kosmo and mom
Tyebe could totally reach those squirrelygigs up that pole. Squirelygigs think they’re so-o agile, but they furrget that we kitties are, too. Purr purr purr.
You think she could climb the pole? Eeeeek! I can imagine her climbing the pole and then realizing she’s too high and yelling her fool head off for someone to get her down.
Personally, I don’t blame the squirrels for not wanting to play with her. You know when she’s not winning an argument, she uses her whole body to jumo on one, Geesh…..she’s no itty bitty kitty.
Thanks for sharing the great selfies. Tyebe looking for those squirrels is such a wonderful photo. You have a great eye for them. Hope you all have a fantastic rest of your week.
You all look sweet in your selfie pictures.
Tyebe, climbing poles is for firemen and electricians…let thm try to catch thsoe eveil squirrels, MOL! But it might make for a terrific scratching spot!
And shoko, food is way more valuable than flowers, bright and pretty as they are…except maybe edible flowers, *She* saw some in the grocery store, go figure. What is the world coming to??
Meow wow Tyebe pleese bee care-full when outside! There are a lot of scarey thingss out inn THE werld! An you do not want to wurry yore Meowy…..

She is so innocent Teddy. She doesn’t realize those squirrels could probably tear at her till she’s hurt. Best they stay in their area of the Lane.
