Thankful Thursdaywith Shoko

Today we are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday.  We have much to be thankful for these days. Pounce on Brian’s Thankful Thursday badge and click on the site given.   We at the Canadian Cats send the Power of the Paw and healing purrs to Brians dad.
We are getting our favourite meals from dad. He gives us snacks on a schedule so every 1pm and 9pm we chow down with special goodies.

The weather is warm and lazy. So we can just sleep anywhere and be happy, as evidenced by Tyebe.

The kitchen is about half finished so we can fish around for treats.

Mom is getting about a little but not out of the house yet. She is still getting IV Therapy of antibiotics at home so the pain is still in the bone. She is in pretty good spirits considering.

I like to visit with mom and tell her about the younguns and how horrible they can be.

If you don’t mind this is a private conversation just between mom and me!

Have a thankful and memorable Thursday.

What do you call a cat in a station wagon?

A car-pet.

I often tell mom what the two nip flakes are doing. She likes to know what’s happening with everyone. She’s so nosy that she hobbles out to the kitchen to see what everyone is doing.

Your poor mum! I have to take diuretics for swollen lower legs so know how painful it is, and that is without an infection! It is good of you to keep her company.
We are having awful weather with day after day of rain and only getting to 8C. We even had to relight the wood burner in June!!

Tyebe, this is my fourth visit to this post just to view your beautiful face. And finally the typist has time for me to send you a little note with some special purrs and hugs attached. Mom wanted me to tell you that Mom Jean’s ankle is looking pretty good. When my mom got stung by the scorpion, and her ankle got infected, layers of skin turned black and fell off. Thankfully, I was not around to see that! You all continue to give lots of chuddles and love to your mom. XO,Your Admirer Cooper Murphy 🐈

We hope your Mom feels better. I know it’s been a long road with plenty of bumps … but we hope this is nearing the end of all that unpleasantness. With Shoks as your nurse, it seems pretty guaranteed.

We love mewing with you my friend so pull up a cushion and let's chatter like the squirrels.
