It’s May already. What happened to April? The snow is gone and brown grass is welcoming all us kitties. It tastes yucky so don’t bother trying to eat it. Budd amused us all by chowing down on the brown grass and bringing it up….a few times. Dad wasn’t amused as he had to clean it up.
Mom is still having a slow go of life. She was rather pleased with the first responders when she fell down the garage stairs and broke three ribs. They were bored waiting for the ambulance so took mom’s glucose level and proudly told her the glucose level was 6.8. This is very good apparently. The time after calling 9 1 1 was quick. Now, mom is breathing a little easier but these broken ribs take like 3 months to mend so don’t expect her to be here and chatting like usual for some time.
Deb, mom’s niece is coming along nicely. She has several surgeries in store as the meningitis virus has wreaked havoc with her body. Mom chattered on the phone with her last night. Both of them sounded happy talking with each other.
I’ll keep you updated as to mom’s and niece’s progress my friends.
