15 and Meowing and Four Legged Furballsare the co-hosts of our Fill-Ins. Click on the blog names and be swept to your death….I mean their blogs. mol *hic*.
We decided it was mom’s turn to do all the fill-ins.
1. Black Friday….. IS A TIME TO BUY WHAT WE DON’T NEED AT CHEAPER PRICES.
2. A pet peeve of mine at this time of year is…..THE CHRISTMAS SPECIALS ON TV THAT HAVE STARTED SO EARLY. iT SEEMS THEY GET EARLIER EVERY YEAR.
3. ‘Tis the season for…..SMILES AND HELLO’S TO EVERYONE WHETHER YOU KNOW THEM OR NOT.
4. I never jumped on the…..BLACK FRIDAY bandwagon.
We went to Staples (office supply store) cause Bill wanted to make copies for the Annual General Meeting of the Connaught Youth Cenrer…..what a mouth full. I was looking at wireless mousies. I saw one I could get for Christmas and cheerfully found it was half price. There were no lines just savings. I liked that.
I’m so slow I’d fall behind in the lineups and would never find a bargain. One good point….I’ll bet these shoppers sleep like a hot damn. They must be beat when they’re finished.
Jean your #2 caught my eye. We walk at the mall every morning. Early October they had Halloween, Thanksgiving and Then mid Oct they started decorating for Christmas At one point they had 3 themes going on.!!
Hugs Cecilia
It’s really the specials on TV that bug me. Around here they are pretty good about displaying things in December. The Christmas music on the radio doesn’t start in earnest until a couple weeks before Christmas.
Hee! Hee! We love your answers to the Friday Fill-ins! W also LOVE the header! I am so furry happy that Mom is home, even though I am still trying to make her feel bad for leaving me…

The header was done by that other wizard of the blogosphere, Ann Adamus. That was so nice of her. The other wizard I know is your mom, Marv. She’s awesome. Glad she had a wonderful time. Now, she’ll stay home with you and cuddle. Make her feel bad though.
I’m getting excited for your move guys. Will you be in there before Christmas?
Black Friday was popular in the States long before here. I remember thinking how silly everyone looked tearing items out of others hands. We do that now too! Go figure..
I totally agree. It’s the anticipation of waiting and yearning to hear Christmas music, shaking a gift and guessing what that gift is or wondering what relative will pick a fight with whom. hehe The holidays!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I went out today with my mom and got 2 shirts I didn’t need at a bargain 🙂 Have a nice weekend! XO
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You and I share the same sentiment regarding Black Friday. I hole up inside on that day every single year. And your answer to #3 is absolutely perfect! Have a beautiful day!

It’s ridiculous! I like Christmas but am not prepared to think about it in October. That’s usually our Thanksgiving so that’s where my head is.

Mom doesn’t jump on the Black Friday bandwagon, either. She shops so much, Black Friday is just another day….. I’m happy she’ll stay home with me!

The whole Black Friday thing is waay too over-stimulating for me. The last thing I need are more things I don’t need. LOL Have a ‘pawtastic’ weekend.

We’ve been giving stuff away just to get it out of the house. No more buying stuff we don’t need! (But they make it so tempting!)

Tempting it is. That’s why we’re best to stay home. Don’t think hubby can roll his eyes anymore. hehe
