I doubt he was clipped as too much of his ear is missing. I read about ear clipping and it’s a great idea but Budd has at least 1/2 his ear missing. Up here, its more likely the ear was frozen and fell off. It’s a cruel climate in the winter. I wonder if they have this programme up here…..it’s a great idea.

Yes, Budd wandered up on the deck and barely could meow so mom brushed him and later gave him something to eat. That was about a month ago. Budd decided he liked it here and joined the family.

Budd wandered on the deck about a month ago looking tired and gave a whispered meow to mom. She sat down and started brushing him and talking with him. He cuddled up to mom so she continued. Pretty soon she was feeding him. Budd never left the deck except to go to the bathroom. Then he started coming in for meals. This last week he decided it was safe enough to sleep here too. He has a vet appointment on Thursday. Budd is now part of the family.

How do we let Shokos to know it’s fun. She is a stick in the mud.

Your mom deserves a night out for supper. Wish I could go out for dinner with her. She works so hard. A great role model.

It looks like Budd’s tail is shorter than it should be too. Do you think that could have been the cold too. He is a very gorgeous man cat though. A big hunk of handsome with character. I wonder if he got displaced due to the fires in your area as it was right after that when he showed up. I don’t think he was living on the streets for long as he is so well mannered and friendly and a good healthy weight. And what street cat likes to be brushed? He is a good fit for your family however he got there.
