Psst! Wanna Do Something Dangerous, Kid?

It’s Thankful Thursday at Brian’s Home and here too.  Me’s was thinkin while lying out on the deck, how comfortable I’s feel here, when Shokos called me from the fence.

Hey, Tyebe do you wanna see something different and spooky?

You’re not going to chase me’s and snap you’s teeth at me, are you Shokos?  You’s done that before and me’s don’t like it.  You’s have big teeth, Shokos.                                                                                                                  This is the Lane, Tyebe.  Mom will guide you along but stick close to me.  All sorts of vermin and wild cats can be hiding behind the bushes.  Seriously Shokos?  This is really scary!

Tyebe, you gotta come here and sniff. Terrible introoders have been here.

You’s right Shokos, it stinks! It must be them wild cats you were talking about. Me’s wanna go home, me’s scared. Ok, we can head home. Now, you know where I go everyday, Tyebe. Everyday Shokos? You’s must be so brave.

What an exciting day! Me’s very happy to be home though. I’s thankful for my family this Thursday. No matter what I’s do, they stick with me and try to help.

Have a thankful day friends.

Oh what a great sisterly adventure on the lane….it’s good that Shoko knows all the good AND bad spots out there. Listen to your big sister Tyebe – and stay safe!

Shoko you are all kinds of brave….do you all have problems with fleas up your way. No way I’d go out down here cause we have fleas and ticks galore.

It’s too cold for fleas up here. Winters kill the eggs and larvae. Peeps have complained of fleas on their dogs. Mom think it’s cause pets come up from the lower mainland and visit other pets. None of mom’s other cats have had fleas either. In the Rocky Mountains there are ticks galore but there doesn’t seem to be any here. We are 3 hours away from the Rockies but no ticks.

Tyebe, you’re starting to look all kind of grown up in that last picture. And what a good and brave sister you are, Shoko. It’s great you both get to walk in the lane instead of being stuck inside all day. ❤ (I just got to run zoomies in the yard with my little sister.) ~Lucy

Stick with Shoko, Tyebe! She’s a Cat Scout, and she will protect you. We love that selfie of you. You sure are growing up fast. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy Sawyer
