Quit it, mom. Those are my paws. Don’t touch em.
You touch em’ and I bite. Nibble, nibble. OW! Knock it off mom…I just gave you a love bite. Some love bite!! You slobbered on me too. Well, you taste good. mol
It’s Friday so Ellen with the blog 15 and Meowing and Annie with McGuffy’s Reader blog have given us 4 statements that are partially blank and we will fill em in, not Ellen and Annie but the blanks…hehe. Mom will do the first 2 sentences and moi the next 2. You’re on mom…take it away…
1. New…..RUNNERS are…..IN MY FUTURE.
2. I love to …..READ TO SHOKO AND HER DAD….. on the _BED BEFORE WE GO TO SLEEP.
My turn
3. When I was a child, I loved to play…..WITH THE TAG ON MOM’S COAT.
4. One …..DAY, I’LL BE PROUD TO LAY IN MY VEGETABLE GARDEN WITH TALL STURDY VEGGIES SURROUNDING ME.
Shoko, I adore the photo of you as a kitten nibbling on the tag of Mom’s coat…so sweet! I hope the snow melts soon and you and your Mom and Dad can get out into the garden!
I was cute and ever so stupid! I didn’t have a clue. My world consisted of playing, eating and going to the kitty litter. I finally got more sense around the age 6. mol A late bloomer. mol
Are you talking about my mom being STRANGE? If so, you’re right, she is strange. A fun strange though, She’s not boring fur sure. If, you’re talkin’ bout her tag on the zipper, you gotta remember I had very little sense back then and would chew anything. Heck I used to play hockey with my dry kibble!
We have small patches of snow left but some green patches too. You guys have had it rough lately with early spring storms but they will disappear and summer will be here. I have a feeling we’ll just bypass Spring this year.
Didn’t I look like butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth? I was a cutie but a devil as I was always busy and into something. I would do something that scared me and then run into the kitchen pantry as the doors were saloon type doors. So if mom found me in the pantry she would go hunting to see what damage I had caused. mol
Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. I LOVE the baby photo of you Shoko, too cute. I think it is so sweet that your mom reads to you and your Dad at night. I am sure you will have your garden soon- well, maybe not that soon with all this cold and snowy weather. Have a nice weekend! XO
It’s true, I was a cute yungun’. Stupid as dirt but cute as a button. Kali had her paws full with my shenanigans. She was not a patient sister after 6 hours of me bugging her but she softened up. We are fortunate cause the east has it cold and snowy and the west of here has torrents of rain but we can expect 17C (63F). Is that all it is…only 63F? The US will think we’re crazy for thinking this is hot. What can I say? We’re Canadians and get excited at the idea of anything above 10C for a temperature. I’ve checked the veggie patch several times and it’s frozen solid. I tried fertilizing the patch early but the dirt wouldn’t move so I had to rush in the house to go.

I join the chorus of “What an adorable kitten you were!” (and still are a gorgeous cat). Love the meme, too.
