Today’s is Brian’s Thankful Thursday and we thought we’d join in as we are very Thankful today. Today has been one of those days and we’re having a fair number of them…..sleep is the first thing that enters our minds. It’s cold and yucky out.
The snow is coming down so fast and thick. Brrr..
Kali and I have moved into the bedroom for some shut-eye and dreaming.
Remember to always keep one eye open…..zombies are everywhere.
Kali decided to have the pillow house as it is just that extra bit warmer.
We are so thankful we are inside a nice warm house on a day like today. MOL….looks familiar!
how good that you have a warm and comfy lady-cave… that snow looks brrrrrr…. but we love the vontage photo of Prince George… I sometimes think that time was better even when it was often hard and eggs-hausting…
It looks like it was a tough life back in the 1920’s. Bet they never even had commercial catfood! We’d have to eat people food…egads. Right over the hill beside us is where our house is situated.
Winter is right around the corner and we’re all happy to have a warm house! Seeing Kali in her “tent” sure does remind my Mom of Sammy’s tents….he just LOVED being in a cozy spot like that. Have a purrrrfectly WARM Thursday!
Our weather is very strange. Usually, by this time we have 2 feet of snow instead of a dusting. Next week it’s supposed to warm up to 4C so the snow will melt. One can never get used to winter this way.
Ugh…snow! We are hoping for a mild winter here in Michigan this year! I hate that Sweetie and The POM are outside, but try as I might, they aren’t coming in!
Mom and I watched for zombies during the eclipse, but none showed up. ~ Lucy
What’s snow? ~Xena What’s Xombies? ~ Xena
I am always so thankful to have our comforts when it gets cold out, I have to stop and ask God to help those who live on the streets. ~Amy
That’s great that none showed up. Maybe I’ll never see one either.

Working in a men’s hostel, I found strange reactions to the cold. I can understand not wanting to be in a hostel as hostels for street people are rough and the residents steal. One fellow, I remember, would not come in….I did rounds outside looking for peeps sleeping under bushes and other places. One fellow just would not come in….I can’t force him but I did call the police and he was picked up for his own protection. Jean
I imagine someone can die of hypothermia pretty quickly in the temps you get. Here, it gets below freezing, but usually not by much or for too long. Even so… (and I have seen temps here as low as 20 degrees below freezing)

The snuggles almost make it worthwhile but not quite. It’s going to warm up here next week so this should melt. Ya!
