McGuffy’s Reader Blog is doing their Sparks post of uplifting quotes. This is an excellent idea. These quotes are ever so true and provide us with inspiration throughout the week.
I have long been a believer of the good feelings that we receive from helping others. The understanding, patience, and guidance we give to folk comes back twofold. For once these gifts are given away, we see situations not as too big to handle but as a stepping stone to understanding others and ourselves.A helping paw makes the day a wee bit brighter. Have a marvelous Monday.
Anytime you can give a gift to another not only makes the recipient happy but you’ll be happier for having done it. Excellent “Sparks” quote. Have a sparktacular day!
This is a great truth! I believe this with my whole heart, too. I have heard this sentiment in many different ways. You certainly cannot be told this too much. We all have gifts, and we should use them to make the world better for everyone. Thank you for this! Hugs.
Thank you for the kind words. I had my appetite stimulant yesterday and am eating with great gusto! It’s very cold here so I’m huddled over the heat register.
This is true Amy. However, think of the benefits of cold….no fleas. no snakes, closer to the North Pole….get presents quicker. We have a great joy for spring. We take advantage of the warm weather because we know it won’t last.
No snakes…too cold. Some peeps have reported seeing the odd snake and mom thought she saw one in 1986 but not ever again. We think it was her imagination. hehe
What a wonderful Spark! It has been one of my favorites for years!
It is what inspires me to give my painting of my friends fur babies away.
My other favorite is–
“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
Thank you for sharing!

Another thing I like about living in the southern US. Not too cold for too long.

No snakes? Hmm. I lived in PA most of my life, and while not Canada, the weather was much more similar than here. I will stay here. 🙂
