Flippin’, Fryday, Friendly Fill-Ins From 2 Funky Foxes

Today is the day for the Fill-Ins, hosted by Ellen of 15 and Meowing and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.  I will present the first two statements and Kali Kit the other two.

1. Keep calm and …..SMILE.  THEY’LL NEVER KNOW YOU ENJOYED  THEIR FISH BEFORE THEM.                                              .
2. WINTER….. disappoints me.  IT IS SO COLD THAT I HAVE TO STAY INSIDE UNTIL THE AFTERNOON WHEN THE SUN MAY COME OUT.  NO MORE RUNNING OUT IN THE MORNING TO GO TINKLES.  THE GROUND IS FROZEN AND THE TEMPERATURE FREEZES ONE’S TINKLE. BRRR…                                                YOU SEE WE ARE WALKING OUTSIDE AIMLESSLY TO KEEP THE COLD AWAY.

3. OREGANO….. is my ….DOWNFALL.  I LOVE OREGANO AND TRY MOM’S IN THE GARDEN EVERY YEAR. Yes, oregano is a perennial.

4. In retrospect, ….I WAS A GOOD KITTY MOST OF MY LIFE SO I CAN LET MY fURS DOWN OCCASIONALLY AND BE A LITTLE BIT HELTER SKELTER.

MOL…be good this weekend my friends and we’ll see you on the flip-flop.

Oh, my word. The cats here love fresh oregano from the garden, too. They treat it similar to catnip, though not as goofy. They like to roll on it. Great minds. Or something like that. *wink* HUGS.

Snorts – you have cold weather and yet we are still in the 90’s here in the south. We could go for a little cool air right about now. Have a great weekend sweet friends. Hope your mom has kicked her boot to the side. XOXO – Bacon

Oh my snorts!! We do not miss the frozen water bit at all. But a little cool air every once in a while would be awesome. It’s still too hot to sleep here comfortably underneath the blankies. XOXO – Bacon

Thank you both for these great answers. Millie got into my oregano the other day, I had dried it and it was in a bowl. I guess he found out how good it is from you, Kali. Sorry winter is coming Shoko. Have a nice weekend! XO

I think every cat needs to be able to let his or her fur down now and then. And even more often than that. The things they have to put up with . . . 🙂 I hope you have a great weekend!

I wish we could ignore it but it’s too cold to ignore. Perhaps if I set up a beach in the basement for Kali and I we could wear our travellin’ bikini and sunglasses while we try and get a tan under mom’s 2 watt bulb. MOL

Excellent completions, ladies. What a good chuckle you gave us with the flip flop at the end. Frozen tinkles don’t sound good, but we bet you can melt the snow with those tinkles. Remember, don’t eat yellow snow! MOL! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

It takes a bit to remember not to eat yellow snow….it’s pretty. Don’t make a snow kitty with it either. It looks like your snowkitty has some sort of disease that turns patches of him yellow. mol

I don’t think my Mom had oregano this year…….several kinds of mint, basil, and marjoram but no oregano – I’d better have a talk with her about it! Have you had snow already??

Teddy! Your mom needs a stern talking to about her lack of oregano in the garden. You must taste it to see if you like it. We had our first snow fall last night and this morning. Most of the snow is gone now but mom got a picture of it.

Really? Mom sent off a letter a few days ago. She is doing ok…won’t win any speed races but is still getting around. She went to the mall today as she wanted to get some Halloween goodies for the kids.

Our Princess is 13 and yet my beloved still forgets that she will pretaste anything when he leaves food on the counter. She’s especially got a sweet tooth and it has been known for her to break into a bakery box and take a huge chunk out of the buttercream icing. Love your answers.
