Friendly Fryday Fill-Ins

We enjoy the Fill-Ins by Ellen of 15 and Meowing and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.  Kali and I chatter about the statements and compare what we will say until I’m sick of hearing her side and print what I want.

MOL  Oh, don’t worry, Kali gets her say…she’s too mouthy to just leave things be.

. My favorite fictional character is……COLUMBO.  HE ACTS LIKE SUCH A NINCOMPOOP BUT HE HAS A MIND THAT’S SHARP AS KIT LIT.

2.  A new tv show or film I am looking forward to this Fall is…..THIS ISN’T NEW BUT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO BLUE BLOODS….SOME NEW EPISODES.  I KNOW THE OLD ONE’s WORD FOR WORD….I COULD ACT IT OUT.

3. One of my very

favourite

books is .…WARRIORS.  THE STORY OF CLANS OF CATS IN THE WILDERNESS.  MESMERIZING!

4. The best time to…..HAVE MOM READ is…..IN THE EVENING, WHEN WE CAN SPACE OUT AND PRETEND WE’RE IN THE WILD SEARCHING OUT OUR FOOD.

DOESN’T SHOKO LOOKED SPACED OUT…GUESS WHERE SHE’S BEEN?  MOL

we love columbo too… and they have all the old episodes every afternoon … the mama grinned while watching how egg-sided they all were as a brandnew invention came up in an episode : the fax ;O))) but it’s interesting to remember a world without (UN)smart phones, or witjout the internet ;O)

Peter Falk gave Columbo quite a personality – almost like a cartoon character in some ways but he was an amazing detective even being such a “character” ! I love that last graphic with the couple that adopted…..HAHAHAHA

We agree…he was almost cartoonish at the end of the run. Although, a great series. Funny yet serious…very hard to maintain but they did.
The final image leaves an alternative to those kittenless couples… hehe

Columbo’s Peugeot model 403 Grande Luxe Cabriolet was just the sort of car his rumpled character would have driven, and I liked the show, too! Great stories and characters, excellent entertainment. That overcoat probably stood on its own when taken off…

LOL..yes, the car matched his persona! I do believe his raincoat is in the Smithsonian Institue as it should be. The stories were well written and interesting….no swearing or nudity either.

Thank you for participating, great answers. Columbo was a great show. Phoebe’s Grammie loves Blue Bloods, I have never seen it, I should binge watch it sometime. That looks like a good book. XO
