Fort Meezer Shines In The Sun

KALI…..ORANGE
SHOKO…..BLACK

A beautiful day here at Fort Meezer.  Everything in the garden is at its peak.  Soon the veggie garden will be nekked again.                                             Oh Cod, this Love Lies Bleeding has grown way too big…it looks silly.  Mom says she’s not going to plant it in containers next year.  No, she’ll probably plant corn in the wagon!

The sweet peas were very pretty this year and mom grew them from the seed of last year’s sweet peas. However, she only got red and pink seeds. no purple or white. Next year we’ll buy them so we get the whole spectrum of colours.

I’m walkin’ here…give me room.  We’re going for a stroll Shoko, want to come?  No way….I’m headed to the Lane.  You yapped at me for stepping on you last time I went.                                               Suit yourself…Shoko.

What a kook she is….winter will be here soon and there won’t be any strolls.

Mom doesn’t always put the netting over the top of me anymore unless potential danger is headed this way…like a woofie.  I’m happy to lay and watch the scenery go by.                                                           I came home and ate like my food was walking away. MOL

Then everything changed and it got foggy and cloudy.  The forest fires are still raging on as this setting shows us, as the sun was bleeding.

TIME:  5pm

Fort Meezer looks beautiful – all those pretty flowers and green grass and ripe veggies! Soon snow will be everywhere and you’ll have to be patient for spring to come back so you can plant all your stuff again. That’s great that you don’t pop out of your stroller when you’re on walks without the netting over you! You must enjoy those strolls a whole lot………

    Hugs, Teddy

Your backyard is so beautiful sweet friends. And your stroller – squeals. LOVE IT! Mom has taken Houdini out in his a couple of times here/there. Not often enough for my sake. Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO – Bacon

The Hubby and I find it amusing to watch Angel and Chuck race inside to check their food bowls, as if we’d put everything away when they stepped outside! I didn’t know about the wildfires; hope the authorities wrangle them to ashes soon.

Maybe Texas could send you up some of their torrential rain to douse those fires…if only. Kali, I am glad you are eating, even if it is with help from a pill. Lot of love to you both.

You kitties have a pretty garden. Mom grows sweet peas, too – white ones. Kali, your stroller looks like the one I have! We should stroll together sometime! Fire smoke bad here, too. Makes me sneezy!

We are safe…peeps come here to evacuate the fires. Since June the bush has been burning. Now the embers are so deep in the needle and leaf carpeting of the ground that only snow and ice will stop them.

We want perch pizza…it sounds delish.

Do you know, our sweet peas do the same. I had some different colour seeds from my mother and they still turned out pink. Wonder if it’s to do with the soil? The photo of the sun and smoke haze, really quite frightening. Stay safe 😺💕xxx
