Sunday Selfie with Shoko

Sunday is selfie day and The Cat On My Head is once again hosting Sunday Selfie which is a blog hop so hop over there to put your selfie in the blog hop or just laugh…peer at your buds.

Ahh…A lazy Sunday afternoon…feels good to scratch and stretch.  What’s that noise on the front porch.  Hey you….ya, you furry face.  What are you doing on my porch?

Sorry sir but this house looks familiar.  Of course its familiar, you pass it everyday and don’t call me sir….I’m a lady cat. Really, I never knew that.                                                                     Do I live here?

For a shrew’s sake….no way!  Do I look like someone you live with?  Not really….you would scare me.  I’m not scary just emphatic.  Geesh….make me feel guilty why don’t you?

You live beside this house.  You have no brothers or sisters.  Go look at the house next door and it will look very familiar.                                                        Thank you sir….I mean madam…um… female kitty.  Just get off the porch and go home.  Gotcha!  Bye!

Who’s ever heard of a cat forgetting where she lives?  She’s a kook.

Oh well, at least the lost neighbour didn’t try to come in and borrow some kibble! Anyways you did the right thing so hopefully he will get home safe and sound, to next door.

MOL…no kibble here….at least for freeloaders. I watched and she went home and jumped in the window. So she is just one of those scammers that want you to feel sorry for her. No pity here…move on…MOL

Cow Kitty is doing well. I see him heading over to the cwappy house all the time. He only stops by for a drink in our filtered water outside. He seems busy. I’m sure he’ll stop by for a snooze under the nip….when the nip gets bigger. The introoder kitty doesn’t want just tea….the nip variety but she wants us to play with her. She might have introoder cat cooties so we don’t want to play with her.

Maybe she has heard about that grass thing….she has lived there for over a year but just started venturing out. She is everywhere now. No wonder she gets confused. She’ll be back.

I never thought of it C, but I’ll bet you’re right. She probably had a snout full of our catnip and then decided to find out if we wanted another furry face here. Some nerve after I planted that nip just for us.!

I don’t know. Sometimes kitties decide they’d rather live with someone else. Perhaps she knows Skoko and Kali are her kind of felines and she want to share their home! (Lock the doors! LOL!)

We don’t want anymore kitties in here….this is our joint. Kali gets along with everyone….until she doesn’t and then look out. When she hurts…we all know about it. She wouldn’t be happy being treated that way. She once walked in the house but mom scooted her out. We didn’t notice until mom was yelling. MOL We sleep hard.

Cow Kitty is doing great. He spends most of his time at the cwappy house yard. There must be lots of mice there. He’s an excellent hunter. He only stops by when he’s thirsty. We have purified water on the deck for all that are thirsty. Mom won the purifier from Three Chatty Cats last year.

One more means a lot to me. I don’t want to have to protect some ditzy kitty that just stopped by. She will be happier at her place. She can always stop by when I’m not around or sleeping. That really sounds fair to me. I don’t go in her house!

Does he forget or is he interested in your toys? What’s his excuse for coming by…is it to borrow a cup of kibble? These freeloaders never return anything. Best have a strong worded mew with him.

It looks as if neighbor kitty is lonely. Maybe she’s nice and would like to be your friend. Thanks for hopping and sharing. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

Awww, that kitty is just the friendly type I think and just wants to get to know you and be friends. My last two kitties were just like that. They greeted all the neighbors and visited many homes and sometimes people would say that they didn’t get enough attention at home. But the honest truth was that they got sooo much attention at home that they both demanded it from the neighbors when I wasn’t home and was at work. The followed people down the street, peered into their windows and walked right into their open doors. I don’t think you should shun her friendship until you get to know her. I think she just wants a temporary reprieve from the kids at her house and wants to be friendly.

Oh my…I feel guilty but I really don’t want her at the door. I see her round the back and that’s enough. Kali used to follow peeps too…..she is very friendly. Mom didn’t like this as not all peeps like cats.

Your kitties sound polite except for the walk in policy of them. Yet, if peeps are going to leave the door unguarded what can they expect. MOL

Unfortunately they both crossed over the bridge recently (not at the same time) and now I’m the kook! I went to my neighbor friends house yesterday and asked if I could just hold one of her kitties for a bit. I miss them so much. Our personalities are much like our pets. But never fear, I am looking at finding a rescue cat or even a bonded pair at our local shelters this weekend. Wish me luck in finding one or two that will give me as much attention as I will give to them.

Juliea. I am so sorry….I didn’t know. It is so lonesome when one has left…never mind both of them. It would tear your heart apart. I’m sure you miss them terribly. There is a kitten out there looking for a home that is safe with a happy mom. That’s the one waiting for you…or maybe there are two.. I am not familiar with the term a bonded pair.

        Your friend,

        Jean

My thoughts and hopes will be with you this weekend as you go to the shelter.

A bonded pair of kitties who came to the shelter together from the same place. Sometimes it can be hard to find homes for two together. I just want to be sure they are friendly to me too. Not just to each other. I have never lived without a cat or two or more since I was 6 years old! Thanks for your caring.

Of course….it means kitties that are bonded together. Excuse please, I was spacing out! I feel that getting related kitties is an excellent way to go but as you say they have room for you in their little world. How would you know fairly quickly? Curiosity would have them investigate you.
