Nellie’s Spirit Walks Among Us

Kali, this is hard….I miss our bud and there are so many memories we could share.  I know, it’s very difficult but we loved Nellie with all our hearts and she made our life so much fun with her “uniqueness.”  She made Cow Kitty wonder if he was man enough to take on, “The Cat Queen From Hell,” MOL

I know, let’s show our memories for all to see.                                    We were trying to make a snow kitty but Nellie got excited and jumped on its head.  Kali soon followed and we had a mess.  hehe

Then there was the day mom caught Nellie and I up on the bread board having a great time mewing about and scratching our backs.  She threatened to spread us out on a cracker if we didn’t leave immediately. MEW, MEW…that was so funny watching mom’s lips moving but laughing so hard we couldn’t hear her.                                                                                 What about the day Nellie and Angel Sammy got us to taste bacon for the first time?  What a delightful day with so much bacon.  Something else Nellie introduced us to.                                                                          Then there was the day Nellie and Marvin the Moose wandered down the street together.  Peeps were looking out their windows and pointing at how marvellously Nellie could direct Marvin.  They seemed like best friends.                                                                 Here we are getting cleaned up for our story and treat time.  Nellie fit right in with us…like a part of the family.

Remember Nellie writing….We have too many memories to put them all down but just know we will always be buddies and when we meet again we will continue our, “Cat From Hell” behaviour.

The last picture ever of our Nellie taken by mom.

We all love you Nellie.  You will forever walk softly in our hearts.

We will all have to make do with the gifts she gave us and remember Nellie can’t be tied down. There are too many places to investigate, too many mews to have with her angel buddies and just too much love to spread everywhere.

So many mighty fine memories of lots of fun and happy times. Queen Nellie brought so much fun and kindness, wherever she was. Who else could ride a moose like she did? That was spectacular! We’ll miss dear Nellie and awful lot, and so pleased you have shared some of the grand times.

There could never be another Nellie – we are all unique and special in our own way I think but Nellie was definitely one of a kind. I miss her “gifts” too although the BIGGEST gift ever from her was her love and friendship and I carry that with me always and forever……….Teddy didn’t know her long but loved her……….we all did. This was a most special post girls. You were SO lucky to see her in her last days…..

Hugs, Angel Sammy, Mom and Teddy too

Nellie was such an awesome Queen and skinny, boy was she thin but what power she wielded. She will always be my mentor and I am sure I will continue learning.
That was some toughie on Sammy’s Teaser for sure. The country took us awhile to figure out but we did it. You guys were so quick compared to us. Concats guys.

We never truly forget them, do we. Reading this brought up memories of my angel kitties, Freckles the little grey tabby and Louie the ginger tabby. I still miss them.

    Ladies,
Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I have loved seeing the pictures of Nellie having such a great time. She was mischievous and naughty but she was never unkind. The hole in my heart is being filled with all the love that our friends have shared. I am sure she is enjoying herself across the bridge aND laughing with glee.

Nellie was a gentle soul with a heart of gold and a mischievous stripe a mile wide. Her final gifts to all of us were special and heartfelt. She will be in our hearts always, and we will remember her with love. This was a beautiful post remembering a great friend to so many.
