Selfie Sunday with…Shoko

Today has been a very mild day….at least for us.  Mom, Kali and I headed out for some much needed fresh air.  Mom was surprised Kali was so happy to get out but I guess she was getting as bored as the rest of us with being stuck in day after day.  Kali and I headed straight for the nip.                                                                aakalishokcrdoneEver since mom decided to feed any cats and their monkeys left out on cold nights, the place has been crawling with introoders.  We wanted to make sure the nip was fine.  The nip was bald as a billy goat!  Think that was winter’s chill, not the introoders though.  Kali ran over and left her scent on what was left of the nip so these crazy dudes know it’s our nip.

I thought she was going tinkles on the nip and was mewing at her to stop.  She said her waterworks were chilled and she couldn’t do anything even if she wanted. to.                                                                     aakalicrzm
After our visit outside where we exerted our dominance we decided it was time for a snooze.
kalipillowtalkKali felt a bit too fresh and curled inside the tent mom makes between the pillows.

I on the other paw, was feeling just right, so I retired to my bed beside the toilet paper.                                                                       aashoktpsmAww…a comfy corner of the bathroom.

Today is also Sunday Selfie with The Cat On My Head.  Go visit them….read their news of what’s happening in their house and say hiya to your anipals that are posing.

May the snow fall be short but the sunny days linger.                                              sistersinarmswinter

We are having some pretty mild weather here too. Though we didn’t go outside to explore it. Shoko, Ernie says that’s a great bed you have…when you get bored of snoozing, you can shred some paper. 🙂

Hmm I’m not sure I like the idea of monkeys roaming free, I do hope they were kept under control by their cats! Heres hoping the Nip grows back sometime soon…. maybe the nip should come in and have a spot near the toilet rolls and pillows, to help it along? purrs ERin

Princess Erin how good to see you. Is this new polish on your nails. I love it. Is it Roarin’ Red? It’s a real fashion statement and made for you.

I am not keen on any monkey either but some cats must have a monkey on their back cause they use so much nip. Shoko says she probably wouldn’t leave the bathroom very often if nip was growing in there.

Kali is a terrible girl for heat,,,she sits or lies on the heat register when the heat is turned up in the morning and will even snuggle with me when she gets cool. I am not a snuggler but Kali doesn’t care. MOL

Do you like wearing your jacket outside? I’d say go for it if you like wearing it out in public. Socks would solve the big problem of frost bite of the paws. My paws get very cold after awhile walking on the snow. My body is good and not cold though. maybe the socks are worth a try cuz,

We were ticked that the snow is just about gone. The snow had been rained on and frozen so mom couldn’t make a good snowball to start a snow kitty. We’ll have to wait for more snow. You are in a warm climate so are not used to the joys of life with snow. Although about now, a great blast of warmth would be welcome.

You two watch out that none of those intruders are around when you go outside. You don’t want to end up like Mau. Hope you do have some nice days so you can enjoy outside time. Thanks for hoping with us. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy.
