Kali I thought this holiday season was supposed to be quiet and relaxing.  What happened?  There is way more happening than usual Shoko.  I don’t like it, myself.  I’m starting to get bags under my eyes from lack of sleep and these surprise visitors are giving me worry wrinkles.                                                                           aaoakst1Go away, I’m not ready to receive visitors…Shoo…shoo…  You called me Kali?   Well, NO,  This guy looks familiar, where have we seen him before?  This dude looks like Oak St. from last year.  Remember mom and dad took him to the SPCA and he was adopted after he was fixed.  That’s right.  What’s he doing back here?  I think maybe he likes it here.  Maybe he’s just hungry.  Mom filled up the food….there you go he had some kibble and left. Whew, now I can comb sparkles through my locks of fur.  What for? I want to achieve the best look for the Cat Scouts New Year Dance.  Buddy, from Timmy’s Tomcat Commentary blog and I are going to sneak in.  Einey and I can help you guys when you get there.  Sounds good sis.

Einstein and Buddy’s dad sent mom some Cadbury Choclates…wow.  Mom’s smacking her lips already.  Thank you so much Pete.  Angel Easy and Phenny’s parents sent some catnip pillows for us and dudes are they ever soft and cuddly.  Mom got a cat angel.  Is it ever cute.  It has a very sweet face.  Bacon from Piglove sent mom and dad t-shirts.  They loved them.  Mom’s t-shirt says ,”Cat Mom.”  Dad’s says,” I hate dogs!”  No it doesn’t Shoko, it has the Grinch on it….they know dad too well….MOL Kali got a funny looking guy with dangly legs….she sleeps with it. I got a soft pig in a hula skirt.  Dude she is fantabulous!  I can almost see her swaying.                                                                             aabacongifts

We thank everyone so very much for thinking of us.  The Christmas Cards we received on-line and right to our door were so appreciated…we have them on the complete, Kali, sniffer, work, mantle on the coffee table and our big table in the hall.  All we can say is WOW…you dudes and dudettes are awesome.  Thank you so very much.  You have made our Christmas complete!

Boxing Day came and Kali and I had to have a box so we went out and examined the Dude’s Hotel on the deck.  Cow Kitty was sunning himself but Kali didn’t see him.  She calls herself a cat?  Her sniffer doesn’t kitty, ice, dad, butt, bum, work!                                                                           aakssm

aackkcrzmSome kitty ate most of the kibble and the water is lower.  I dub this method of assisting the ferals and forgotten kitties a success.

It was a cold day as you can see by the ice around the water bowl.  We went charging inside when mom opened the door.  Hey, look Shoko dad has made us a box with entry ways.  Cool dad, thanks!

aabumstuckk1Oh how embarrassing my butt is stuck! Can I butter your muffin, Kali? MOL. mew, mew, Rolling On Floor Mewing My Whiskers Off!  What’s that poem mom says to us about, “Three Old Ladies Stuck In The Lavatory.”  *The third one’s name was Mrs  O’Kal-lee, she got stuck and couldn’t get her bum free.*  Dad will make the hole bigger to accommodate your more voluptuous regions. hehe

        Can you imagine how delighted we are to see Spring and actually see GREEN grass. Just to be able to jump in the car and go without giving ourselves twice the time to get there and bundling up until we can barely move. Why don’t you move then? We love Prince George…the size, the friends, the feeling of starting over in Spring and Shoko and Kali love it too.

        I could do without the very, very cold but otherwise we love it here. Everybody wants to live in the “Banana Belt.” This land is around Vancouver and Victoria. I heard that if there was a tsunami, Vancouver Island would be no more and leave Vancouver open to the elements of an open sea. The Vancouver area would also be wiped out. I’m waiting to see if this happens and Prince George becomes warmer. In the last 35 years nothing. Vancouver is still there and so is Vancouver Island. haha

    Happy New Year pals. Maybe I should have said Happy Boxing Day first tho since that one is history now. We don’t even celebrate that in the States, M says. She had to ask a Twitter pal who lived in Canada what it meant that first year she heard about the term. he he – she thought eveyrone got out on hte street and started boxing! SIlly M!

      MOL Mom used to think it was called Boxing Day cause everyone would box up whatever gifts they didn’t really want and take them back to the store. Just as bad as your mom.

      Yep, -40 is the temperature Fahrenheit and Celsius are exactly the same. We don’t see this temperature very often and everyone is delighted we don’t. This temperature is when we get real problems like city water lines starting to run slow, peeps pipes freezing and houses cracking and shifting.

      I wish I could do more but adopting every kitty that comes around is not in the budget, besides Shoko really doesn’t care for these trespassers. Her hissing is really improving. She’s done it so often she will be a first rate hisser. No more “hittthhhh.”

    Looks like your house is becoming “THE IN SPOT” for kitties who need food or shelter! It also looks like Kali might need a new exercise regimen in the new year since her bum gets stuck while trying to go through the hole in the box!!! Shoko you need to chase Kali around a bit more and get her moving! Sounds like you ALL got a whole lot of great presents from all your friends. I think maybe next year my Mom and Dad will feel more like having fun at Christmas because this year just was NOT a happy one for them……….

      I sure would appreciate some food and water if I was stuck out in these conditions. Makes us think about the homeless. The police pick up the homeless and take them to hostels when temperatures get so low they could die out in mother natures cool weather.

      We had fun makin the post, Dharth. I feel bad that Oak St. is back but he doesn’t look hungry so I don’t know if he lives near by and is visiting cause he remembers us or what. I do know I don’t want all these joe crows coming inside MY house. I hope the codeine works on Ladymum. Codeine helps mom a lot.

      Ya, -49 doesn’t happen often….never since I was born. Thank goodness. My mom would be swearing a lot if -40 turned up. It’s -20 now and with the wind chill it’s -27C…very cool.
