Ellen from 15 and Meowing and Annie from McGuffy’s Reader are the co-hosts for our Fill-Ins this week. This is Week 23. Stop by and read their super blogs.
1. It is good to have a spare….. MOUSE OR TWO OR FOUR. I TEND TO LOSE A MOUSE OR TWO EACH YEAR. MOM HAS PULLED THE FURNITURE OUT AND THE ODD MOUSE IS HIDING UNDER THERE BUT THE OTHERS SEEM TO RUN AWAY. MAYBE KALI HAS A STASH OF MOUSES IN THE BEDROOM SOMEWHERE.
2. I don’t understand why…..FRESH COOKED CHICKY LIVERS are so popular WITH CATS. THEY ARE YUCKY AND MUSHY. GIVES ME THE SHIVERS JUST THINKING OF THEM.
THANKS FOR THE USE OF THE PICTURE MR. GOOGLE
3. The spookiest thing that ever happened to me was FINDING COW KITTY AT THE END OF MY TUNNEL. THE HORROR!!
4. My favourite Halloween tale is …..THE HEADLESS HORSECAT. I’M AFRAID TO TURN AROUND AFTER THAT STORY, JUST IN CASE HE’S STANDING ON HIS HORSE BESIDE ME. EEEEEEK…
May the Headless Horsecat never ride his nightmare into your waking hours.
I we want a tunnel like that say Bindi and Sasha. Once in the middle of the night I caught a mouse and started running toward the bed where I put all my toys.Mom was running behind me yelling”drop it drop it.So I dropped it in the bed.Mom disposed of it and was up a long time disinfecting and washing the bedding. Sasha
A REAL MOUSE! Awesome Sasha! Mom’s have no idea on how to make us feel good after we deposit our gifts for them. Mom starts talking to herself immediately when I bring a gift in and she doesn’t sound happy. I wonder if she’d like the mouses better dead, than alive? I quit bringing them in….I get no respect!!
Awwww……cow kitty is so adorable visiting your tunnel. But I suppose you’d rather have it all to yourself right? You know what? I agree with you about chickey livers except my Mom fries them in butter with some flour on them and they are quite good like that – – crispy outside, well done inside and butter – OH BOY. You did so well with your filling in today Shoko! BRAVO!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins Shoko, nice answers. Good idea to have a spare mouse. Chicken liver is yucky. I must hear this story of the headless horsecat. I am sure cow kitty gave you a fright, I would be thrilled to find him in my house ( and I would never let him out). Have a nice weekend! XO
Cow Kitty is the one that told me the story of *The Headless Horsecat.* I don’t know where he heard it but it sure is scary. Cow Kitty should be appreciated for who he is but I don’t think his pawrents do. I don’t like the way he runs at me…what a turkey!
Hi Shokolino, great answers. I agree chicken liver is terrible. I have nor heard of that headless horsecat, and never seen him, some good luck. Cowkitty looks nice and friendly.
Kosmo
Cow Kitty growls a lot now. We don’t know why but he doesn’t seem as friendly as he used to be so mom is not letting him in as much. Use your imagination and you’ll see the horsecat just before you see the Headless Horseman. MOL
Aaaaaaw Ya’ look so cute. We lose toys all da time. Y, Mommy still hasn’t found our Yeowww nip nanners and it’s been years. MOL Extras are always a good thing. Hope ya’ll have a pawsum weekend.
Luv ya’

They have no idea the skill it takes to capture a mouse and keep it live so it can play with us.

Shoko, a headless horsecat is truly a horror-invoking thought. No liver? I can tell you are a cat with discriminating taste.

No chicky livers for sure. Kali doesn’t like them either but we like canned liver cat food. The fresh stuff….forget it.
Have a great weekend my friend.

Extra mousies is definitely a good plan. I like to have an extra toy or 2 or 675 around me at all times.
