Selfie Sunday with Kali

catonheadbdAnother Sunday rolls around and this one is the first one in July. We must thank The Cat On My Head blog for having such a fine blog hop.  Stop by and see some of our chums posing for their selfies.  Click on the blog hop hosting and hop right over to their post.

This time I used a remote for a distant shot of me and my new stairs to the bench swing.  Dad just finished making them so they’re not carpeted yet.  Now, I can finally sit or lay on the top of the swing instead of under it.                                                                                 aas1Dad was so happy I could use them that he’s carpeted them.                                                                     acarpetedstairsMy stairway.  Nobody else’s just mine.                                                                                Kali and Shoks

The bench is like a stage, Easy. Buddy touched my furs for the first time on this bench at Shoko’s Gotcha Day Pawty. I will never forget the shivers up my back. Perhaps Shoko and I should perform a play atop the bench. Let me cogitate on that.

You have a good Dad. The stairs are great. Carpeted, that is more than a cat can wish. My mom needs that kind of stairs too. She ha s problem in her back that makes her feet sick.
    Have warm summer days!

I am a very lucky kitty, this I know. My mom has trouble walking and she says she’s jealous of me cause we have no carpeting but laminate floors. Mom says on certain days carpeting would be much easier on her feet.

Kitty Kisses for you and your mom Kosmo.

How did you guess? Shoko tends to fall asleep on a stair and then I can’t get down…if only I had army boots…I’d kick her over to the side and make room for moi! MOL

Egads!! Cold wood, you say….does it have splinters in it? No…well, you’re laughing. I would love a mousie hair rug. Think dad puts carpet on the stairs cause there are splinters in it and I make a big fuss if the details afen’t just so.

Dad is good to me, I cannot deny it. He helps Shoko too but she doesn’t seem to need as much help as me.
We haven’t seen Cow Kitty since mom hissed at him for jumping on Shoko. She is getting worried so will look for him today. Mom would also like us to wear the Traveling Sunglasses but Canada Post is thinking of going on strike on Wednesday so I guess we can’t participate. Dang…the Traveling Bikini had Buddy and Einstein falling all over themselves for another peek. MOL

Say that’s an idea…I don’t think they’re high enough to reach the table but the trash maybe. I don’t like the trash so I’ll pass. If, I could get dad to make you some that would be great.

Lucky you! I love your new stairs – they will probably come in handy for not just the swing but other spots too Kali! I could probably use some of those – – – I’ll show my Dad how SMART your Dad was to help you out – maybe he’ll get the message huh?

I probably could use them elsewhere and in the winter they’ll have to be moved elsewhere and I’ll find a new place to discover. Your dad is probably good at something our dad’s not very good at…it all works out.

They sure help me…I like the cushion on the top of the bench instead of the dirty one underneath. What mom? Apparently mom thinks I made the cushion under the bench dirty….don’t think so.

Ok…tradsies it is. Bill just said the temperature has dropped since we got up. It’s 9C now. EEK! No wonder the girls are asleep in the bedroom. Kali is doing so well. She played with me this morning, batting her hears on a wand with her paw. She has been shaking her paw and madly cleanng it, if it was touched by anything other than what she’s sitting on. Shoko just sits back and lets her play with whatever she wants. Normally Shoko’s right in there like a dirty shirt, trying to grab the toy. She sits back and watches Kali play. Kali has been receiving a painkiller everyday for 3 days. Shows me she is in quite a bit of pain.

It is darn cold here. Mom is going out this afternoon so dad makes supper. They’re having canned soup and a sangwitch. Can you imagine in July eating hot soup to keep warm? Kali is so much fun when she’s not in pain. When she’s in pain…you don’t want to get on her bad side.

You get a royal treatment from your dad, Kali. Apaws, apaws! But you might allow Shoko to use your starway, too. It would be a queenlike gesture.

I just used my stairs this morning and gave them a good sniff. Dad did a very good job. Shoko and Cow kitty have been all over the stairs, I could smell them! I walked all over the bench. I do share with Shoko but she’s such a show off, running up the stairs. I would love to run up the stairs.

I know what ya mean. Kali sounds just like Ladymum but I can’t blame them. It’s hard to have patience when one doesn’t feel well.
Imagine soup in July and tonight is beef stew. It’s that cold here. Even I’m out for a few minutes and back inside again. We’d love to have hot weather, at least for a few days.

Oh my!! Buddy!! I’m so surprised to hear from you my sweet bloo. You sure can use these stairs anytime your cotton pickin’ heart wants to you. I just finished doing the fill-ins for 15 and Meowing’s post and one of the statements was filled in with you in mind.

I so want to snuggle and have whisker kisses. Smoochies my sweetie.
