Caturday already and it’s going to be a hot one. I have my sun hat and glasses ready to go and mom gave us Turducken for breakfast. You gotta love who ever thought of such a combination. Of course today is Athena ‘s post for artsy anipals. So mom chose PicMonkey photo editor and put paw prints along the wall and chose the texture water. This is the picture she came up with for today.
Please do drop by Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and see the other anipals done up artsy by their peeps. You know the drill, just click on their name and what you’ll see will blow your booties off.
Shoko always says something at the end of the post. Um…May your day be like a diamond….precious and rare.
The Canadian Cats are looking great! Turkducken sounds pretty good to me, too! No wonder we just see the tail ends of your kitties in today’s photo!
An important date’s coming up, as you know: Canada Day on July 1st! By coincidence, it also will be my cats’ birthday. Andy and Dougy will be five years old that day.
Yes, Canada Day is coming up and we’ve been invited to the big event in Fort George Park. I think it has something to do with Bill being president of the Connaught Youth Center…..I guess the paid director was busy and he gets to do whatever it is. I’ll tag along and then find other things to do. Last year I tried on turbans.
Sounds like fun! (Trying on turbans, I mean! LOL!) At any rate, If I don’t get around to it on July 1, Happy Canada Day!
Have a great, safe celebration! My kitty birthday boys will get human quality tuna that day in celebration of their birthday. I bought the chunk albacore in water for them since I’m watching their weight as they get older.
I missed the whole point of you telling me about July the 1st. A very Happy Birthday is in store for the boys. They are only 5…do they really need to watch their weight? They look in excellent condition to me. Both Kali and Shoko ignored the wet food this morning. I’m not buying this expensive wet food for a long time…..they won’t eat it. They prefer their carrageen in fancy feast I guess. I feel so guilty when I feed them the FF. I guess its like me eating hot dogs….I love hot dogs and would eat them for breakfast if I could. hehe
Really? You’ve never had it? I thought we were the last cats on earth to try anything new. Guess I was wrong. Turducken is very satisfying. Although Shoko didn’t like the lumps in it, I thought the lumps were just part of the goodness of the Turducken.
Never saw Cow Kitty all day today. Yesterday Cow Kitty got all excited and jumped on Shoko. Shoko cried out so mom chased Cow Kitty home by hissing at him.
Turducken sounds delish – lumps and all! As for the heat – it’s been warmish here too but I’m staying inside most of the time anyway………you don’t want to break into a sweat ladies so stay in and stay cool! Cow Kitty is a little bit BOLD hopping aboard the Shoko-train don’t you think? EEEK!
Mom says ladies don’t sweat, they have the vapors. hehe I don’t worry about the vapors however Shoko should worry with that giant fly mask on. Cow Kitty was very rude so he deserved to be hissed at by mom. Must have bothered him cause he didn’t show up today.
HA! My Mom says ladies don’t sweat they just “get dewy”……HAHAHAHA Cow Kitty must have been frightened off by the giant cat who hissed at him yesterday! Tee Hee
Dats a goods way to stay cool by swimming in da waters… at least the arts gotted cooler. We likes dats water furmat – dat furry fun! weze hads a bit of rain to cools off fur Sunnyday.
Do stay cools n stuffs… Katie Kitty Too.
