Kali, What Am I going To Do With A Sister Like You?

My stars, it was hot as hell fire here today.  The mercury climbed to 26C.  That’s 78F for you southern neighbours.  Now, you may laugh and say, “What’s her problem.  That’s not hot.”  For us 80F is hot.  We are used to cooler weather.  Peeps wear shorts and t-shirts when the temperature gets to -3C.

I tried very hard to get Kali to come outside and relax.                                                    akos C’mon Kali, its cool out here.                                                  akoGo away Shoko.  I’m not coming out unless I wear protective clothing.  My furs might catch fire.  Ok, wait until I get my gear on.  There.  I can deal better with the heat this way.                                                             Feline Femme Fatale1You know Kali you look like a dork.  You remind me of Richard Simmons, if he were lucky enough to be a feline.  Aww… but I won’t go funny in the head from the sun.   That’s  because you’re already funny in the head Kali.

KALI – orange

We’d be puddles on the street with oriental names…MOL That’s even too hot for the plants. People in the states seem to have flowering bushes more than flowers. Perhaps these flowering bushes need less water?

hahaha….we would be gasping for air! How would you do when the temp falls to -25C. Shoko runs out and just stands on the deck like she forgot what the heck she came out for in the first place. hehe

One needs a reason to be dressed up…heat prostration is a good reason. I know where your cats are coming from. If they wear a collar, the others can be added with much patience.

Good cats!! Triple digits? We would be in the house hiding all summer. That’s way too hot. Peeps up here have no a/c unless they’re rich. It just doesn’t get hot enough for long enough.

Thank you our sweet friend. 76 would sound good to somebody from Oklahoma. We would die from the heat there. Then again you would perish in our freezing cold. It’s all what we get used to, I guess.

MOL, MOL I guess one could say she is a Hawaiian beach babe or beach kitty. She certainly dances to her own drummer but then some say I’m a little ‘different’ too. MOL

      Einey,

I’d feel much cooler with a/c. Not many peeps up here have a/c. There just aren’t that many hot, hot days. We’d be able to play in the cool air at your place. Here, Kali and I are flaked out on top of our condo.
      Kissy kissy,

      Shoo

      Buddy Blue,

Ole man sun needs to go in occasionally. That way it wouldn’t be so very hot. I sure didn’t get heat stroke from all this warmth but think I’ve had enough for a week or two. MOL
Hope you’re still feeling super Buddy Bud. I wouldn’t want anything to happen to my precious mancat.

The weatherman says it should rain here tomorrow. Maybe you’ll get the hot weather now. The rain will help water the containers of plants mom has just filled. Dharth you are just so nice to us girls and say the sweetest things. Ladymum taught you well.

MOL…It’s all what we’re used to. We’d die in all the heat you guys get down there but you’d free up here when the temperature hits 60. Just as well we live where we do. MOL

Kali, you are too cute in the hat and shades. I always wear them outside too, but I prefer the air conditioned house.

Miss Ellen, it was indeed very warm with that get up on. I didn’t stay out very long but our house is getting warm. The weatherman says rain tomorrow so I can see today through without getting the vapors. hehe

No kidding CK! We would be reduced to puddles with foreign sounding names. MOL We are not prepared for hot weather. It takes us awhile to acclimatize and by then the hot weather is gone. We have no a/c but we have double and triple glazed windows. TW must be in great shape.

Hi girls. I love to lay out in the sun for a few minutes when it gets in the high 80’s here. Roll in the grass, get my furs almost to the combusting temp, then go in and get a long, cool drink and chill in A/C until next time. Mom says you are smart to cover up, Kali, as white anipals can easily get the C on their ears in the sun. So leave her alone, Shoks, Kali is smart AND stylish! Oh, and thanks for the endorsement, team mate!!

Are you kidding? It was 104 degrees here a few days ago, and I had to find some cool cement to lie on! I’ve decided to stop roaming the neighborhood and stay home more. Sure like the food down the street better than at home. Got to get MOM to buy some of that really EXPENSIVE canned food. Yum! Hope you are staying cool way up there near the Northern Lights.

OK.. OK, some places are hotter than up here close to the Northern Lights…hehe. We don’t have to worry today as its overcast and probably going to rain.

Hey Boots, we get that real expensive wet food every once in awhile. I’m not impressed. I like duck but we don’t get much quack quack around here. The neighbours don’t have any better. What’s a girl to do?

Mom finished Accidental Angel last night. What a story! There were more twists and turns than a San Francisco street. We loved the book. It’s so nice to know you were the inspiration for Thumper. You must be a very god looking mancat.

You can bet your whiskers on that. Thought you had seen pix of my handsome bod. Will send ‘Thumper and Angel’s’ ASAP. Not sure I can do it here. Maybe by email. So glad you liked Accidental Angel. It is probably my most favorite book, because it shows so well how much Thumper loves Angel, his soul-mate, and how stupid a ‘man catt can be when he tries to overthink a situation! LOL

MOL I can’t imagine Thumper a silly mancat. Although he does think a lot of Angel and try and interpret why she does things. Oh yes!! He does over think things when it really is as easy as just asking Angel. Mom says she thinks all men are like this or they don’t think of women’s feelings at all. MOL We did enjoy the pictures and they may find their way onto our post.

What a jump in the temperature. We would like it a lot warmer. Wednesday is suppose to be 7C and that’s our high for the day. We would like 18C but not 30C….that is too hot. We’d all be flopping around like sick ducks. MOL
